We had RV campsite reservations for the night after the solar eclipse, but arrived a day earlier on the off chance they had space available. The last site had just been filled, but Amy and Zach helped us with a primitive site right across from the space we had reserved for the following night. It worked out great.Turns out, they accidentally put it in the Tent Site #3 instead of the RV Site #3. We had a small popup camper on our truck, so didn t mind at all. The trees there are beautiful and provide some shade.Throughout our 2-night stay, Amy and Zach made sure we had everything we needed, and seemed genuinely happy to help. Staff attitude is number one criteria in our book. All staff and food vendors (especially Jett) were great!Nearby activities: Lots of seasonal kayaking, tubing, fishing, etc.Safety: We felt very safe there.Walkability: Andy s store has about everything you need, within a short walk. Prices seemed fair for a summer family camping/recreation outfit. Some nice higher-end gear too.Food & drinks: The taco truck run by Jett and family was awesome. The tacos and breakfast burritos were very tasty. The nearby espresso truck was also very good. Prices seemed fair considering the location and event.

My fiance and I decided to have a last minute little getaway. We called Andy s and were able to book one of their suites. Leslie was super accommodating and so nice! Our room was much bigger than expected and clean. We can t wait to bring our kids next time. We didn t want to float, we just wanted a peaceful day to sit our chairs in the river and have a few drinks. Leslie pointed us to a shallow crossing and it was perfect. Definitely recommend. We brought stuff to bbq but decided to grab dinner instead. Mill Creek in Leakey has great food. Concan is such a beautiful place for a little vacation. Thanks for having us!! Be sure to hit Andy s store for a cute boutique. :)

Jenny was super accommodating and helpful. I changed my reservation twice and she was more than helpful to help me figure out what worked best for my group! We stayed at the suites and then moved to a Cabin. The suites were so much more roomier than expected might I add. The cabin set up is spacious and has extra seating and tables for get togethers. Will definitely reserve with Andy s again. There is no washer and dryer just in case you re wondering but we made do just fine.

Andy s On River Road was absolutely beautiful! The pictures posted on the website do not do the cabins justice. I wasn t really expecting them to be as big as they are. My family and I enjoyed our stay very much & plan on making it a yearly trip!!This trip was an accidental booked trip. The employees at Andy s were so patient & understanding & willing to work with us to get a date set that would work out for us and upon arriving we were greeted with a smile & friendly service.Definitely recommend Andy s for a getaway destination!!

I just told my kid I was leaving a review for the Cabin and she said Whoa! Give them 10 Stars!!! The kids wanted to go camping.. I just wanted AC! We found the perfect combination at Andy s on the River. These river road cabins provided just enough creature comforts to make it a relaxing and enjoyable stay with just enough we re roughing it . Great customer service from our reservationist Jenny which provided all the expectations and suggesting the cabins. The kids loved the fire pit and that they are pet friendly! The brand new hot tubs at each cabin was a huge bonus!

This was by far the best time me and my family had coming to the river. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Love the fact they called me the day before our trip. Then the next day after being there they texted again to see how we were doing! AMAZING for them to go out of their way to check on us! I HIGHLY recommend you staying here with you and your family! We stayed at Riverside cabins. The kids had a blast being able to swing and play volleyball. The cabins are beautiful and very spacious. Super close to the river.

We just left Andy s and enjoyed every minute of it! Came with a large group to celebrate a birthday. Andy s staff is amazing and very accommodating. Met Harley who let us know that if we needed anything to let him know. We were in the riverside cabins and enjoyed sitting in the river there. There is still some water and plenty of fish to watch. We went to the gravel bar two of the days we were here. I highly recommend it as well. Food trucks were great! Must try the burria tacos. We are all looking forward to our next stay!

Had a great time with our wind family at Andy's this weekend for their 2nd Annual River Road Rally! We were here last year for the 1st one and stayed in a cabin. Cabins are awesome! Will definitely be back for the 3rd as well! Hope to get some stays in, in between now and then, too. We had RV spot #6 this year and it was great! Owners and staff are awesome!! Definitely recommend giving this place your business!!!!

While I didn t actually rent anything from Andy s because of a mishap with their air pumps/compressors today, I just want to say thank you for the AMAZING customer service that I received over the phone. I was in quite a panic over a botched cabana rental and I called Andy s to see if I was able to get tubes rented or have them dropped off near the place that I was at (Frio river cabana park - DO NOT RENT ANYTHING THERE!). The young lady I spoke to, whose name escapes me, went above and beyond trying to help me in procuring tubes to help celebrate my son s 15th birthday. She was so apologetic that they were having issues with their air compressors and suggested another place that I might be able to get tubes pretty quickly. She Certainly didn t have to do that, but I m so grateful that she did. The next time I visit Concan, I ll be staying with Andy s and renting from Andy s. I truly cannot thank you enough!

Just seemed very prejudice, or stuck up. I wasn t greeted or talked to at all while in the process of purchasing my items that I needed. I noticed the difference when a group of Caucasian people walked in. It looks bad in 2023. I even thanked the cashier that checked me out, SILENCE. Could be that I was brought up differently but I find that very rude. I did not stay here, i stayed at Neal s Lodge. My business could ve been taken else where and from now on it will be.

We are having an awesome time. The cabin is great. I highly recommend the bigger cabins because for a small price difference they have just a ton of space for larger families. The staff are very helpful. Just the prefect summer break and I have been coming for over 11 years every summer!

We stayed at Andy's for a family funeral weekend in August 2022. Our cabin was surprisingly big, clean and very accommodating. With the 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds in each room andeach room having it's own private bathroom, it made it even more comfortable and private for the guests. It was also very convenient since we could walk to the store for groceries orsouvenirs, there is even a liquor store there, they also have a little trailer food park with outdoor tables and hammocks. With it being so close to the river, we never needed to go any furtherthan Concan for anything. We will definitely be staying again and I highly recommend them. Very easily accessible with any vehicle size with good parking at each cabin. I actually paid theextra $50 to have them provide the linens, totally worth it!!Will definitely stay there again!

We had a great time at Andy s On the River! It was our first time and we will definitely be going back. We have always stayed at a cabin, or at Neal s, but Andy s definitely had amazing cabins and great location to the River. We also loved the hot tub that was attached to the cabin. We went in early May during the peak of COVID and everything was clean in the cabin and you could smell the cleanliness. The staff was super friendly, and made check in easy and quick. We will definitely be going back if not again this year, then for sure next season!

We love Andy s and choose to rent cabins and use their tube shuttle every year! The area is beautiful and well kept, especially their river side cabins that allows you to stay just a couple hundred feet from the river, which is a very short and convenient walking distance to the river without having to drive anywhere! Customer service is great and staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will continue to stay here and use their services every year!

Easy walk to the river, volleyball and horseshoes were right in front of the cabin. Riverside cabins were perfect location and clean and nice inside. Loves the hot tub and enjoyed the firepit at night...Rooms: Good size and clean.Nearby activities: Volleyball, horseshoe, swings and hot tub right outside the door. The river just an easy quick walk...

We try to go Andy's at least once a year, and will continue visiting and recommending this place to everyone. The atmosphere is not only very inviting, but the cabins and other lodging options are nice and comfortable. Staff make visiting an even better experience - especially the maintenance department - because they are on task, and ensure that your stay is an enjoyable one. Andy and staff, keep up the great work on making the Frio the place to be! We will return very soon, and continue to invite others ... who end up loving Andy's and returning!

We had a wonderful weekend stay at Riverside Cabin #10. I've stayed at other company's cabins and this was absolutely the most well stocked (it had a crockpot!!!) and had the best amenities, Andy completely blows the other ones out of the water. DVD player (maybe blu-ray? We didn't look), satellite TV, and wifi in the cabin. This one also had a hot tub (AWESOME after a hike in Lost Maples). We will definitely be staying with Andy's from now on. Thank you Andy and staff!

I had the best time at Andy s riverside cabins. I stayed in cabin 10 for a month it was a awesome deal. It s a very well laid out floor plan and the front area had a hot tub. There are paths down to the water and many cool places to hike and check out. I have to give a shout out to Zach, Rick and Jack the maintenance team and everything else they do there. These guys go above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. I love this place I would recommend the riverside cabins 8, 9 10 with hot tubs or 1-3 without hot tubs but great views. This place is beautiful.

My son, family, friends & I always have a amazing time with Andy s!From the beautiful cabins, to the shop always having everything and more! The boutique is soooo cute always our go to for our concan merchandise. 3rd year in a row and loved it. Got home yesterday and just booked our Riverside Cabins for next year. We have not stayed in the Riverside Cabins yet but already looking forward to it. Thanks to the whole staff!Just got home from our first stay at Andy's yesterday after many years of going to Concan and Garner. Absolutely recommended and we are already looking to book more cabins with other family next year. The cabins are perfect, the staff is awesome and friendly and perfect access to anything you want to get to in the area. Thanks for a great vacation for my wife and I.

Drove an hour and a half to do the "float" our group spent over 100 dollars for about 25 min of float and over 2 and a half hours of walking. We were told to expect "some walking" not a 2 and a half hour drudge through ankle deep water, even our smaller children who are sub 5 feet and under 90 pounds barely got any more float time than the adults.

This is by far the best place to stay in Concan. This was our 6th trip to the Frio and we won t ever stay anywhere else.Everything was so accommodating. Friendly staff, location, clean cabins and the staff checking in on your by text message! My blended family was able to take our first vacation together and I m so glad we chose Andy s. Price is great (we stayed 6 days even on a budget) The food truck area they have is a wonderful addition. The Frio Fix coffee trailer is our favorite (little biased as she s my best friend ) 1000% recommend Andy s on River Road!

10/10 recommend stopping at this store on your way to the river ! the staff is super friendly, the clothes are super cute, and their new liquor store right next door has all your hydrating necessities. We will definitely be coming back next year !
