From the moment I called it was a pleasant experience. I got a quote over the phone for new tires and that's exactly what I paid out the door. I was given a courtesy ride so I didn't have to wait. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I feel that the service went beyond expectations, doing a thorough inspection of the vehicle when I was just getting new tires mounted. I was pleasantly surprised to see that my floors had been vacuumed and my inside windshield had been cleaned. Definitely going back anytime I need any work done.

I m always very hesitant bringing in my Volkswagen Beetle into new auto repair shops but Zack at the front desk was very helpful rescheduling my appointment and even brought me to the back to talk to the mechanic James so I can really understand what s going on with my car. Usually the diagnosis is printed or filtered through the front desk so it was really nice to speak directly to the mechanic and visually see what s going on. Very personable and reliable people.

Buyer Beware ** my husband who has a local business in Castroville was having issues with his work truck s AC- he trusted Goose Auto and paid for a diagnostic to make necessary repairs for the AC. After paying over $950 for a valve replacement and evac and recharge- he is still having the same issues! We informed Goose Auto the very next day the issue was not resolved and their response was to blame us for saying we did not leave the vehicle there long enough to complete the tests! Why were we charged for the repairs in the first place then if you did know what needed to be fixed!!

I went to get my oil changed today and they did not disappoint. They were fast, and honest with me. When my car was being services they sent me a report card of my car. They checked my wipers, lights, air filters and much more. If everything was ok it showed a green mark. My car was needing a new belt and that showed up red on the report along with pictures of what they found and a description of what was wrong. Next I got a call making sure I understood what was needed and them letting know if it was needed now or if it could wait till pay day. Highly recommend!!! They are also doing a $9.99 oil change since they just opened. Here is the picture of the add in order to get the deal.

Thank you Eileen and James! We were on our way home when our car got stuck in second gear. Pulled into Goose, Eileen greeted us promptlt, very sweet lady. James came out immediately to assess and fix. Out in less than 30 min! Great staff, great facility! We will be back.

Gary and his Crew are Outstanding. Parts are difficult to find for a 1965 230Sl and Gary and his people found and fixed everything that we asked them to look into and found some items we had no idea were in bad shape. Gary has an immense knowledge base with these cars and his unique skill set coupled with a great support team he was able to make 'Pearl" purr like a kitten and drive like she was new. We look forward to enjoying our car for years to come with Gary and his crew keeping us on the road.If you have an older European Car I'd highly recommend this shop. I have a 2007 Porsche 911 and I have been a Goose Automotive customer for 2 years. Most recent visit involved installing a new clutch, modifying IMS bearing seal and repairing a coolant leak. After almost two months and at my wits end, at the extent of my knowledge of working on cars, and having exhausted the resources I could find through YouTube videos on how to get my 1986 Porsche 911 Carrera back on the road I went in search of a shop that could not only get my car back to working order but that specialized in European cars.I found Goose Automotive and JD Ramirez welcomed me amiably. JD immediately documented the issues I was having with my vehicle, arranged transport, informed me the vehicle was being dropped off at Goose Automotive Flores location - where classic cars are repaired, and gave me the name of the person who would be working on my vehicle - Gary Thompson.Although I did not know a thing about this shop and thoughtlessly reached out, but simply by the level of immediate attention demonstrated by JD, I felt confident I had made the right choice!I stopped by the shop after a couple of days to drop off some parts for the vehicle and met Gary in person. After speaking with Gary for just a few minutes as he started to explain his findings in detail, I realized the work my, nearly 40-yearold, car needed was complex and way beyond my scope of knowledge.If JD s immediate attention made me feel confident about choosing Goose Automotive, it was Gary s display of passion, knowledge, open communication, and attention to detail that confirmed and bolstered that confidence I had made the right choice.Gary might just be the crown jewel of Goose Automotive. Gary confidently assured me he would restore my car back to Porsche performance conditions, just as he had previously done on countless classic and modern 911's over his 36 years of experience. Gary's level of understanding and how he demonstrated he knew 911's inside and out inspired the utmost of confidence.While I was without my 911 for the better part of 4-5 weeks, which may seem like a long time, it certainly did not feel that way due to daily updates via calls and/or texts on the state of repairs from JD. This was very appreciated and I could see that communication between the front desk and the garage was paramount - they turned that into communication over to me and this kept me from worrying. In fact, it had me singing their praises to anyone who asked where my car was.Gary s passion for his craft and these classic cars was even more evident towards the end of my cars spell at the shop. Although by anyone else s standards, the car could have been delivered back to me, Gary was not ready to release the vehicle and asked me if he could keep the car a few more days in order to sort out one or two minor things that weren t absolutely perfect.Gary's attention to detail to achieve, primarily his 100% satisfaction about his work coupled with JD's constant communication left me beyond impressed for the quality of work Goose Automotive promises and undoubtedly delivers.Once Gary was done and was satisfied and before me taking delivery of the car, he requested a ride along where I drove the car as he explained the entire scope of repairs accomplished to bring the car to his standards for delivery.Once I took delivery of the car, I can wholeheartedly report that the car indeed performs and feels like a completely new experience, rock solid and eager to respond to my inputs without hesitation.It truly feels, drives, and sounds like a Porsche!I find myself driving this classic 911 even more than before, despite owning a modern 911 Carrera. The car breathes new life after its stay at Goose Automotive. It's an almost criminal understatement to say that I'm overly satisfied with JD and Gary's work, which did not end when I took delivery of the car. I was pleasantly surprised of the follow-up call a week later to make sure the vehicle was running well. Should my car need anything further in the coming years I'll look no further than Goose Automotive

You can do better.Disastrous Experience at Goose Automotive in Castroville, TX.I wish I could give Goose Automotive in Castroville, TX, zero stars because one star is far too generous for the nightmare my friend endured. Let me walk you through the comedy of errors that unfolded at this so-called "mechanic shop."First off, small town charm doesn't excuse big-time incompetence. My elderly, handicapped buddy trusted Goose Automotive to fix his Jeep Wrangler's AC fan and ignition switch. What did he get in return? A circus of incompetence that would make even the Three Stooges blush.Four attempts. Yes, you read that correctly. It took them four tries just to fail miserably at fixing the original issues. And let's talk about their handiwork. Dash ripped apart, extra parts lying around like forgotten puzzle pieces, a missing remote (because, why not?), and wires hanging like spaghetti from a toddler's art project.And the AC fan? Still noisy. Because apparently, Goose Automotive specializes in creating cacophonous symphonies, not fixing cars. Oh, and let's not forget their brilliant moment of enlightenment when they called my friend for a Google tutorial on how to charge an AC. Seriously? Is this a mechanic shop or a kindergarten class?But wait, there's more! After three weeks of torture, my friend was told to pick up his vehicle. Guess what? It wouldn't start. Surprise, surprise! Suddenly, it's not the ignition switch; it's the Tumblr that needs replacing. I'm starting to think they're playing a game of "pin the tail on the car part."And don't even get me started on the pricing. $500 above the original quote for what? A masterclass in how to make a bad situation worse? Bravo, Goose Automotive, bravo.In conclusion, Goose Automotive, you might excel at marketing yourselves, but when it comes to fixing cars, you're about as useful as a chocolate teapot. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of this automotive catastrophe. Unless, of course, you enjoy being part of their slapstick comedy routine.

Great place with great people and great service. Zak and James were super helpful in resourceful. They took care of me very quickly too. I will definitely be returning here in the future.
