I was referred here due to them being a family business. My car had a misfire on cylinder 6 I already knew this. I just wanted to see how much it'll be to fix it. I came in on a Friday appointment. I paid them $150 to diagnose my car. The gentleman claims he would have to get to the root of the problem by doing a compression test, taking apart more ,and that would be an extra $225 (mind you I'd already waited almost 2hrs and was there soon as they opened) He claims either it was the camshaft or the engine (the worse thing to hear) and my max estimate was about $1500-$2000...I knew better but kept my mouth shut to see what else they had up their sleeves....so he claims instead of waiting longer (because that deeper diagnose was going to take a few more hours) and saving my $225 he'd rather me schedule to bring it in next week so they can pull my car apart and work on it all in one time. He said they'll have my car 2-3 days (of course I'm going to need a rental) However, the woman behind the counter we scheduled the following Tuesday and will let me know the exact cost and labor that same day (Friday). I never heard back from her....I called Monday because I need to know pricing and she caught and attitude with me saying it takes time to get the labor and parts amount....WHAT THE HECK no it does not....mind you I need to know all this before I give you guys my car and pay for a rental. LIKE COME ON NOBODY IN THEIR RIGHT MIND IS GOING TO LET YOU WORK ON THEIR CAR WITHOUT A PRICE FIRST....Tuesday came and still heard nothing (a voicemail was left on Monday) but I knew better and took my car to another mechanic and all my car needed was fuel injector and intake gasket replacement my car runs so much better!!! I can only imagine if I would've dropped my car off.Bottom line is they weren't expecting me to stay and definitely thought I was a fool. This is why it's important that women research and do second opinions because auto shops will try to take advantage of us and our pockets.

The name says it all! They are family owned and they will treat you like family! I was in a pinch and needed to get new brakes asap and they worked with me and getting my car back on the road safely and quickly. I will be going back to them for all my car care needs.

I have brought my 2012 Chevy Sonic to Felts Family Care a few different times, each time for something different. They have always patiently answered my questions (since I am very naive when it comes to cars).They have always made me feel like I'd been a customer for years!

After getting ripped off by several area auto repair shops, a colleague at the hospital spoke highly of this place. My auto service expectations are consistently exceeded. Felts was amazing in every respect. I brought my truck here after getting a quote from another shop and being concerned about what I was being told. The Felts team was warm, welcoming, and honest from the get go. They took the time to talk about the issues, listen to my stories and give me the options.When all was said and done they completed more work than the previous shop was going to do for 50% of the cost. Another added benefit was the complete all the work in about 1 1/2 days. I got my truck back quickly and in amazing shape. I couldn t have asked for better service.I even needed to come grab something out of my truck the day they were working on it. The mechanic gladly brought my truck down from the lift, let me do what I needed to do and then got back to it. I never felt like I was inconveniencing them at all.My biggest regret is that I m leaving the area and won t be able to use this team for all my maintenance needs.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto brake replacement, Oil change

They repaired the rear suspension and replaced the battery. They preformed a full inspection on the vehicle and let me know of any upcoming issues that might need repair. They were careful to keep me informed of their progress on the repairs. They were even able to pick me up and bring me to the shop. Very professional service. Great customer service. I'm so glad I found Felts! Hometown customer service with superb workmanship to top it off.My rear brakes were squeaking pretty bad as it was probably past time to do a brake job. I found Felts through the Burleson Talking Group page on FB where everyone spoke highly of them. I agree with everyone giving them good praises as they were super nice making the appointment over the phone as well as through the process. I dropped off the truck this morning and they even came to my work to pick me up since I was fairly close by which saved my wife a drive from Grandview!Pricing was fair and quality of work is top notch. I was worried about how my pedal would feel as I've been driving my truck now for 12 years and do not like change. I was so happy after pushing down on that pedal for the first time because it felt like it always has which is amazing.Anytime I don't feel like tackling a job on my truck, there is no doubt in my mind I'll be using Felts!Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

Having moved to Burleson 2 yrs ago I was in need of a reputable auto repair place. I noticed their consistent high rating so decided to try them out. I was blown away with their attention to detail, customer service and colleague competency. They performed a detail analysis of my trucks condition, text me a link containing all the items of concern along with a very very very reasonable estimate to fix things. I happily authorized the repairs. The next day, much earlier than my anticipated time of completion I received a phone call saying my things were fixed. Working in the healthcare industry I respect and appreciate good honest businesses. This business is that and more - highly recommend when needing your auto serviced.Service: Air conditioning

Dropped off my car before hours. My daughter mistakenly put key in box by the door, rather than drop box. I called at 3:00 pm (on a Friday when they close at 5:00pm for weekend) to see if car was ready. She said that she did not get a key!! I told her we dropped key off in drop box. She figured out my daughters mistake. She said she would get right on it and if parts available it will be ready by 5:00 pm. It was our mistake, but she graciously got moving on it for us and it was ready at 5:00 pm. So thankful!! Great family owned business. Service: Brakes

SCAMMER ALERT !!!! Took my 2013 jeep to get it diagnosed, it was making a horrible noise and we assumed the worse, we trusted that they would be honest and tell us the truth. They said it was the ENGINE! The worse thing you could ever hear. Something didn t seem right after the gave us a quote of $9,000 for a rebuilt engine . We towed the jeep to a different mechanic and turns out that it was my STARTER AND NOT MY ENGINE! Please people of burleson don t trust these people they just want to scam you for all you have, I m beyond disappointed with Felts Family Car Care there doing bad business by scamming people in our community.

I have a 2003 Camry that was losing oil. I'm not ready to give up on my car, but I know very little about cars. They were great at explaining things in a way I could understand. Felts Family Car Care really does care! They are honest, upfront about costs, personable, and we have been very happy with the work they have done on our vehicles. Excellent service. Loved the detailed diagnostic of our vehicle. We came down for our daughters wedding and the engine light came on. They fixed our vehicle sooner than what the other garages said they could. We ve been traveling for 2 days now and are extremely pleased. I have been bringing my vehicle to Felts for a year now. Being a female, I often times feel taken advantage of at an automotive shop. I have never felt that way with Felts Family Car Care. They are honest about my vehicles needs and even tell me when certain items can wait. They never try to pressure me into making a decision about my vehicle. They always try to give me as much information as possible so I can make an informed decision.The team at Felts have always been warm and friendly. I would certainly recommend taking your vehicle here.

Great people. Honest & professional.Excellent job on my alignment.My 94 Corvette needed a/c work. Even though some parts needed to be ordered, I still got my car back before I expected. The price was more reasonable than I expected. Highly recommend these folks.

We used the felts for work on our Honda Pilot. They were clear and upfront with the pricing once they completed their check of the car. I have been using Felts for about 5 years now for my company fleet truck and my personal vehicle. This visit was for the water pump that was going out on my fleet truck a 2013 3500 Chevy. I dropped it off around 7:45 as soon as they opened and by 4:00 that afternoon the repair had been made and I was back on the road. Mike and Ruth will go up and beyond to make sure your vehicle is repaired quickly and the job is done right the first time. Even when having to deal with the fleet management companies which can be a headache. If you re vehicle is having issues give Mike and the team a shot at Felts Family Car Care you won t be disappointed!! No stress experience. Everything was reviewed and explained before work started. Timely communication kept me informed and allowed me to make decisions about choices of service. Work was completed on time and at a reasonable cost. I will use them for all my vehicles.Reception/order taking is excellent. Technician was thorough and innovative in solving a wired problem.

I have used Felts Family Car Care since I moved to Burleson three years ago. They have been incredibly professional and have provided great services for several of my cars. On my most recent visit they even provided pictures and video of their findings. Great experience, wonderful people, upfront, very informative diagnostic so you can make the right decision. Older cars are cantankerous and tricky. Making the right decision about fixing an old car or buying a new car can be hard, and it s harder if you don t trust the mechanic. Felts Family Car Care is the right partner to help you.Thank you it made our decision a lot easier to know fully what we were dealing with.

Very friendly. Went in for an oil change, had someone in training working on it.Unfortunately when I left, my check engine light was on (wasn't previously on). Had to stop at O'Reilly on way home to have then hook up and scan. 14 notifications popped up from check engine scan.Things were not properly plugged back in under hood after point to point inspection. My fianc� had to replug in certain wiring.Good customer service but should have someone recheck work after trainee is complete with service.

We are highly dissatisfied with the service we received at this location. We were referred to this business because we were told they were a fair and reputable company. We were told incorrect pricing in a quote before service. When we came to pick up the vehicle, the price had increased by almost 200 for less services than what we were originally told in the original quote with more services to be done. We felt they trapped us into paying them more with poor communication. When discussed with management, they were adamant that the miscommunication was on our end and we heard them wrong . Bad business, bad service, dishonest pricing, and poor customer service. Go anywhere else.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brake service & repair

We have used Felts Family Car Care for both our vehicles. Mike and his whole crew have always treated us fairly, professionally, and with a smile. I would recommend them to my friends and family, for sure!
