I apologize for this review. I did not realize there was a new owner. This company she not be in business AT ALL!!. He screw us then telling us we were too demanding. If I am a paying customer and I want to know why it's taking so long I will ask. Also a warranty means if something is not fix appropriately then you fix it not charge extra for screwing things up. Do not take your car to this place!To reply to the owner comments no this is not an error. The so call nee owner was not helpful did not do anything he said and then when we took out truck back within the warranty time frame he charged us 900 more. When we said put the original transmission back and a refund of the original 2000 he said I will give you a refund of 750.I apologize for this review. I did not realize there was a new owner.

I went to get my truck fixed in June just to have to come back the next day bcuz they didn t plug a sensor in then had to go back in a couple months late because the same side of my engine that they fixed was messing up again. I dropped off on a Monday and they didn t get back with me until Wednesday of the following week telling me what it was. Customer service is trash. They told me that they fixed the opposite side of my engine so I could pay them another 2,000 . They lie and don t keep in contact about your vehicle. Don t go to themService: Auto engine diagnostic

I had a major problem with my car in which I was told that my transmission was going out and it was better if I just get rid of it because a CVT transmission on this car wouldn t be worth fooling with. I was so heartbroken so I listened to everyone and made numerous calls including cash for cars who offered me $200. Now that was a slap in the face because I ve already spent thousand of dollars on tires, hub assembly, brakes etc. I prayed about it and got my answer: Get it repaired in spite of what everyone said. Prior to my decision, I had received a recommendation from a transmission place that James @ Engine and Transmission Depot was just the person to go to. Long story short, I visited the shop and found Mr. James to be a man of valor. He is easy to talk to, extremely knowledgeable and very professional. He is the owner and treats you like family . Mr. James don t take advantage of you especially if you are a WOMAN . He is definitely straightforward, pulls No punches. If he and his team can t fix it, no one can! Guess what, I picked my Neesy/car up today and she is driving like a brand new car. If you re in need of a great mechanic, Come See Mr. James. The only reason I am giving them 1 star is I cannot give them a negative 5 charged me 3000 dollars for a new rebuild transmission they had my truck 3 weeks every time I called him to get an update he said I was being demanding I just wanted to know when I could take the rental car back after all that my transmission is out my truck is broke down in the driveway I wouldn't ever go back I would rather get a root canal then give him my business! Buyer be ware!!!

Customer service has taken a back seat to profit with the new management of this once highly regarded shop. Not going to get into the nitty gritty of it all, but jist of it is I paid for what seems like nothing as my truck runs the same if not worse than before. It seems as though no diagnostics were done other than driving the truck, no costs were given for parts or labor only the total to be paid for work to be done. This place has lost what it once was as well as a customer.

I did my research, read reviews etc. Still went to a shady establishment that was 4.9 stars!. Buckeys helped me when another shop was ripping me off. He was upfront and honest. What can you do when we face the human factor. Talk to the mechanic and get a complete time line and cost for parts and warranty coverage. Don't let them con you into taking it apart to try to sell you a product you don't need at an outrageous price. Ask questions about all options first. Buckeys will tell you your best options.

I have been working with Buckey's on my transmission rebuild. I have been frustrated with the difficulty as Buckeys is trying to diagnose my transmission issues with professionalism and honesty. They have stood by their work and have understood my hardship so much to help me with a rental. I am confident they will soon get me my truck back and figure out the problem. They are pulling out the stops to figure this out. For that I am very appreciative.

The owner was honest. Was given options to fix my vehicle. I chose to junk the car and he let it stay at his shop for 3 extra days. Never charged a dime, even on diagnosis of my Transmission.

They were busy with a lot of car repairs to finish but they quickly took care of my car's problem. They also charged a reasonable amount for labor. I recommend this business.

The new owners and worker's are super nice! My car was ready to go when they said it would be. Plus it runs so good now definitely recommend.

By far the best and cheapest place to get a transmission fixed. My truck works great after going there with a few electrical problems now but got to find a place for that. I highly recommend this place!!Service: TransmissionService: Transmission
