Manuel from Covert Collision is someone you want to work with. I had rear end collision of my Dodge Challenger and had a small and not so well known insurance ( uninsured motorist coverage).After reading the reviews about the insurance I realized not all body shops are able to work with them. But Manuel was very professional and figured out how to proceed with my insurance. He communicated with them all the time, did lots of work, also was able to get them pay for the new parts ( as after market were not available). He returned my car and it looks like brand new, no signs of the accident either. It took several months to negotiate with the insurance, get the parts and do the work though. I just would like yo recommend Manuel and Covert Collision and thank them for the hard work they done.

I m leaving a minimum of three stars for doing the bare minimum, which was repairing my car. This could ve been a better review if they put some effort into their customer service and communication with the customer. It took over two months to get my car repaired, which I understand parts have been backordered. But I was really frustrated with was the lack of communication from Covert regarding additional repairs and the repair timeline. This lack of communication created a big headache and inconvenience on my end, as I had to continuously reach out to my insurance to extend my rental coverage as they continue to push the date further back each week. The most frustrating, was being told my car was going to be ready on a specific day, at a specific time, I pulled out the insurance money and was prepared to come get my car. It wasn t until I was on my way to pick up my car that I received a call that it was still not ready for another few days. Their solution was to offer me a rental of their own to avoid me getting charged any further on that end. While it was helpful I wish it had not gotten to this point so late, had they been more responsive and communicative this could have been a more pleasant experience.

They're really good at repairing hail damage vehicles and calling you about once every week or two for the update. However, minus one star because it can take a while (it took me about three months total) to get it repaired. Customer service can be a hit or miss depends on the department and employees' mood that day.

I brought my car here to see what they can do about hail damage. I felt that the staff had little to no concern or basic customer service skills. They kind of brushed me off and acted annoyed. After leaving a couple of messages and getting no response I politely told a lady over the phone that if they didn t want or have time to take my claim to let me know and she snickered arrogantly. When the manager took a look at my car, I pointed out a small chip in my windshield that appeared after the storm and he kept insisting it was from a rock. I assured him I would have noticed and he just kept saying rock chip, like it should even matter to him?? Overall just a very weird and belittling experience. They might do awesome work but I d rather take my business somewhere a bit more professional.

I called another bodyshop that was 7 weeks backed up before calling who I should've called 1st! Arthur Balderas took my call and I dropped off my car the next day. He kept in contact with me giving me updates. My car came out PERFECT!!! His team exceeded my expectations and I couldn't be happier!!! Thank you Arthur and the Covert team !! Both Arthur and Manny are my "go to's" for life!!!

If I could give Covert Collision negative five stars I would. We had an older truck stolen and recovered, the thiefs knocked out the ignition key. We originally dropped the truck off at Covert's repair shop on 183, and they were kind and accommodating. After a few days they called and said it would be more appropriate to take the truck to Covert's collision center, so we picked it up. Again, kind and accommodating. At Covert's collision center, we met an estimator named Manual Colunga, who seemed to be in a bad mood. Fine, we all have bad days. We explained the situation to Manual and we could immediately tell that he didn't want anything to do with the job, he was grumpy, negative, and explained how they might do a poor repair. I should have left right then and there, but I thought, "he's just an estimator, he's not going to do the work, the guys in the back will take pride in their work." We left the truck. A few days later we got a call from the insurance company and they said that Covert recommended totaling the truck. The truck is not totaled, it needs a steering column, the part is available for $250, the truck is worth $17k - $25k. Manual, for whatever reason, just didn't want to do do the job. We went over to pick up the truck, and Manual said it would cost $250 to release it. I asked for what, and he responded, "for storage and for wasting my time." I responded that he has to be kidding, and he got up out of his chair like he was going to come at me. I was shocked but I de-escalated the situation because it wasn't worth making a scene. I paid the ladies at the desk $250, and drove the truck elsewhere.Dan, Kenny, Chance, Philip, Brad, this man needs to be fired. He does not represent what I know about you or your family. He's an embarrassment to your organization, and I guarantee you he's driving customers away. I, for one, am gone.

I have taken my car here twice for repairs after a collision. The first time things went wrong on my car after coming back from here I didn t think twice about it. The touchscreen had stopped working and the suspension malfunctioned. These were common issues so I just had them replaced.But the second time was horrible. Driver rear was all that needed repairs. Everything was working fine on my car beforehand. They had my car an extra week for a supposed wire harness that needed replacement.When I receive my car back my ac was not working at all just blowing nothing but pure hot air. My cd changer was not working and the cd that was sentimental to my father was missing. My dashboard had been taken off and not replaced properly and the leahther around the vent is still misplaced. My glove box was broken and just falls loosely. The manager denied all this was there fault but none of these things were on the initial report of when I. Thought things in. They made a new report two days after I brought the car in. Horrible place.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

I want to take a minute and say Thank You to Debbie Castillo and Billy Purcell. The experience I had was outstanding.They took care of what my vehicle needed and much more. The staff was very professional and the job was done right. I will be back next time. When I have any other body repairs in the future. First of all - excellent quality of work - I had my hood, bumper and fender damaged in a minor accident, so they were able to fix it the way it looks like new now, you wouldn't find any flaws even with a flashlight and a magnifying glass!Also many thanks to Monica, for always being there whenever I had questions, needed updates, etc etc etc the level of communication and customer service is really outstanding!And finally, I don't know how and why, but they returned my car with even cleaner interior than it was when I brought it in for repairs.Overall - excellent service, would definitely recommend, but hope I won't need that kind of service myself anymore :)Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Unfortunately I've had to take my vehicle here twice. Fortunately the pros here handed it back to me looking brand new. From perfect paint blending to excellent metal work. I have full confidence that whenever the next person decides to back up into my vehicle, or something else, that they will restore it to looking like it did off the lot.

This place repaired my wife's cadillac in no time. We dropped it off and a week later had the vehicle back in our garage. Great work and I highly recommend for any repairs.

I just used Covert Collison Center to repair some hail damage on my Yukon. I am very impressed with their work!I took it in Monday afternoon so they could get started on it first thing Tuesday morning and it was finished and ready for me Thursday afternoon.I only had 6 big dents but there were dozens of small pea sized dents and they got them all out.My Yukon looks awesome and I'd definitely use them again.

I cannot say enough good things about Covert Collision. I had a situation where they did some bodywork and I had a problem with a part on my car that I had replaced myself and they really didn t have to take responsibility for it not working after they dropped the car back to me and it was malfunctioning. However, they helped me to replace the bad part for free and make sure that I felt well supported from beginning to end. Debbie Castillo Is an exceptional, highly professional project manager! (Give her a raise! Lol) you guys are a 10 in my books!

I received wonderful service from Covert Collision after my car got damaged on a snowy hill during the Great Freeze. There were multiple cars involved, and Manual was a huge help at the outset with advice on which insurance companies to talk to in what order. My service was handled by Robert, who took over the interaction with the insurance company and kept me informed. The car looked great when I picked it up, and had been cleaned inside and out as a nice bonus. Robert even told me to come back after I got a bracket for installing the front license plate (a part of the work not covered by insurance) and did the installation for free. Trustworthy, dependable, professional - this is the quality of service you will get from the people at Covert Collision who go above and beyond for the customer. In particular, Sonja and Debbie made my entire car repair experience seamless, as they dealt with the insurance agent direct and kept me informed of all updates. I picked up my car today, and it looks brand new on the outside. I truly appreciate the care of service and the technicians' attention to details that I completely overlooked. My experience there was awesome, i just needed 2 wheels replaced on my vehicle and they were able to get the wheels ordered and put on my vehicle within 2 weeks.I went to two other repair shop and they wouldn't be able to gwt my vehicle in until mid April just to replace the wheels. Covert Collision should have been my first stop.Jos� and the staff there was awesome. Going to schedule to have some work done on my other vehicle as well.

I contacted this business about repairing collision damage to a 2004 Lexus. Manuel C. explained to me that working on a 2004 vehicle might entail problems with parts and that there might be more damage than covered by the insurance estimate. I asked him "What do you suggest?" He evaded answering that . I then asked him "Are you interested in doing the work or not?" His response was, "Good day, sir" and he hung up. That's abominably unprofessional. He could have just said, "We'd rather not work on a vehicle of that age."** I am supplementing this review and amending the rating from 1 to 3 stars. After I called this matter to the attention of the business, a manager "Debbie" intervened and asked me for the opportunity to address my concerns and fix the vehicle. Since she took over the situation, the service has been excellent. The vehicle has been repaired in good order. I am satisfied that the treatment I first received does not reflect the way Covert Collision seeks to do business. **

You walk into a body shop steeling yourself for the worst. Expect to be told that the whole car needs to be painted twice and rebuilt to remove that ding on the front door. Especially so if it s an expensive car. Well imagine my surprise when the exact opposite happened at covert. I met with Robert who clearly cares about cars. I have a vanity dent - ie it s not something that will damage the car off left alone, but hurts my pride. Robert did a thorough assessment, and came back with an estimate, but also the suggestion that if i wanted to, I could leave it alone. He then proceeded to buff out some of the scratches with his kit and my car looked a lot better. The dings are there but much less noticeable. I do not ever hope to need the services of a collision shop but if I do my first choice will be Robert and covert. His honesty, straight talk and deep affection for cars won me over. After having my vehicle moved to Covert from a shop that didn't wanna do the work I found that Covert Collision was very customer oriented. There was a waiting list to get the work completed but in risk of having to move my vehicle again I opted to stay at Covert. I worked with Debbie and she was very polite, very knowledgeable, very personable. There were a few ones and twos that after getting my vehicle back that needed to be addressed and they were addressed quickly and professionally. The most amazing thing they did for me was they brought my vehicle to me after they were done with it with fixing the ones and twos. This was very unexpected. I highly recommend Covert Collision.

If you have a choice in where to get your vehicle repaired CHOOSE THESE GUYS! The staff is impeccable, Debbie, my adjuster, was absolutely amazing. Extremely professional and very accommodating. I actually damaged my vehicle after the fact not knowing, took my car in and they repaired it at no charge. I can't stress enough how satisfied I am with Covert. Highly recommended.

It s never fun to be in an accident but Debbie Castile at Covert Collision made my customer service experience as pleasant as possible. She was knowledgeable and stayed on top of the repair. She thoroughly understood every aspect of the process from insurance claims to replacement parts. She communicated progress with the appraisers, parts prices, repair completion and balances due. And she went to bat for me with the rental company when the car they had promised was unavailable and with the insurance company when I needed an extra day to have tires replaced. Best of all she was honest. My repair was almost finished and in line to be washed when it was hit by a wrecker. Debbie completely handled the 2nd claim and made sure that the car was repaired again expertly. It s pretty good customer service when you write a 5 star review after that happens. I worked with Robert to get a few parts painted for our truck. He was excellent! Body work is never cheap, but he was up front and open about the costs and timing. The work was fantastic and on time. I would have given 10 stars . Monica was the person that helped me when I needed it. She was not only professional but went to bat for me and my needs for myself and My stan(my car). My bumper needed to be replaced here s the catch, my car has a custom wrap. I didn t even have to tell Monica about it. The insurance wanted to give me a used bumper, she stepped up and said no we a new bumper. She not only got my new bumper but also did my wrap for me. Talk about customer service and going above and beyond for your customer. Monica THANK YOU, to all that had a part in fixing my baby . THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Can't say enough good things about the service received here! I've been here twice in the last year for various repairs because no one in Austin can drive- and their process is so seamless start-to-finish.Sonja kept me updated through the whole process, and when I picked my car up it looked brand new- they even cleaned it too! So nice! Will always always come back to them in the future.
