I really appreciate the service here. I've been to a couple of places that weren't so trustworthy for my regular maintenance... These guys were honest, efficient, and thorough. I feel very comfortable leaving my car with them!

Overall great experience! I m sold on Austin Automotive due to the way they conduct business in a trustworthy manner. Unfortunately too many repair shops are over aggressive and take advantage of customers lack of knowledge when it comes to auto repairs bottom line integrity matters and the entire Austin Automotive staff excels with this character .highly recommend!

I love this place. Since we live nearby, I usually walk in to ask if they can give me an estimate / make an appointment for me at a later time. The service person up front is usually friendly, un-condescending and doesn't try to sell me stuff I don't need, which is the reason I stopped going to the dealership. I definitely recommend Austin Automotive!

I can't personally speak to the work they do yet, but I took my car here due to an issue that was caused by the dealership. The guy at the front desk was so helpful and actually cared. He was very honest about what was going on with my car... what was caused by the dealership, and what else I had going on. I was able to take it back to the dealership and have them fix it immediately. I still have other stuff I need done, so I will definitely be returning here. No more dealership for me. They are nice until something goes wrong and then they are completely cold and callous. Complete opposite of this place!

The people in this automotive shop are all very friendly and they make sure you approve of all the work they do. They also make suggestions for any other maintenance they see that needs to be done. No pressure to do anything you are not prepared to have done. My experience with Forrest and his team was amazing!! I called near closing time, and I think he could tell I was in a jam. I would recommend them because of how friendly and understanding they were and how fairly they treated me. Thanks for helping me out!!

A church friend recommended this place to me, as I m fairly new to Austin, and I m so glad they did! The staff is professional and accommodating. Specifically- have had the most interaction with Forrest, who is very knowledgeable, has provided great advice and happily answers all of my questions!

I highly recommend for same day service when one of the first morning customers with all supplies, as it will be completed fastest with great affordable labor and professionally done within an hour for replacement of rotors and brake pad jobs..I ve had all types of shocks and struts work done and the work is always done correctly with proper parts provided. They know were once only a brake suspension specialist, but have expanded into other car care jobs.. That being said, they are by far, well experience at dealing with many other car care needs, provide honest prices that don t change at checkout..Service: Auto brake replacement

Best spot in town for all your automotive needs.Came in for A/C Freon recharge, was in and out in about an hour. A/C blows colder than ever.Forrest is very knowledgeable and prompt.

I highly recommend this location for automobile repairs. I took my vehicle infor a leaking oil problem. Forrest and his technicians provided great customer service, showed me where my oil leak was, and performed great service. The price was great and I will definitely return for any future repairs.

Went in for some front left tire problem shaking.Things went okay I had to be better in communicating. But Forrest came in understood more of what was going on resolved the miscommunication and everything turned out wonderful. Second time at the shop Integrity seems intact hard to find in mechanics thanks guys

My family and I have been using the 8405 Research location for well over 25 years. Maybe even longer. Always have received the best service and repair work to our vehicles. I highly recommend them. Been here a few times. In my experience, they re a trustworthy establishment. Recently went in for a front left wheel shaking sometimes at highway speeds. The mechanic thought it was an issue with the front axels but when they were replaced, the issue persisted. They then discovered a worn front control arm and replaced it at no further cost. I just paid for the axel work, which was less expensive than the cost for a control arm replacement. Even if they get something wrong, they will be honest and make it right.

My car was over heating and they were able to get me in right away. They quickly found the problem and repaired. They also replaced my struts which were in bad shape. My car broke down and they worked with me and the tow truck on getting it there (I was over an hour away from them). Then over the weekend I was in a car wreck and broke my arm. They worked with me on everything and held the car until I could come get it. Forrest and the rest of the crew were super friendly and I am very appreciative of them going the extra mile to help out. As a female who doesn't know much about cars, it's hard for me to trust any auto shop. Austin Automotive tries pretty hard to earn my trust. Any time I've asked to see why they are recommending something, they have been so kind as to actually show me so I can see with my own eyes and don't have to wonder if I am just getting ripped off again. They've never talked down to me or put pressure on me unless they really feel like the service can't be put off.This time I needed a routine wheel alignment. Their price is about 25% better than the dealership's regular price, and Austin Auto was amazed that the dealership quoted me a 2 hour wait time on the service (they felt like that was way too long). With an appointment, Austin Auto has always been speedy with their service, and while I can't tell you the exact amount of time they took for the wheel alignment, it definitely wasn't 2 hours.Service: Wheel alignment

Had to have my radiator fan replaced. Was quoted a decent price and got a small discount in labor. I believe his name was Forest was the one that helped me out. It was replaced within a couple of days and i was able to get back in the road. Highly recommended from me.

if i could give a no star i would made an appointment they told me to come in the next day i did when i get there i have no appointment set up like they said even checked the number i called matched with this one said they were next to taco cabana but still i had no appointment and they wanted me to pay out of pocket when the day prior i was told i didn t have to they would take care of everything
