Not so happy with Freedom RV Service ...Aransas Pass, Texas ... After replacing our Norcold Cooling System Dec. 16, 2021 on the Norcold (2018 Series Refrigerator ) on our Montana 2019 -5th Wheel...... with a three months Service warranty ...(not my signature on the bill.)In March/April 2022 the refrigerator started acting weird .. Propane was not working ... temperature same as in the room... for several months ...Finally contacted River City RV in Grants Pass, Oregon to figure out what is happening ... It turned out that Freedom RV Service poorly installed AN OFF BRAND UNIT, PLUS NOT INSTALLING THE PROPANE UNIT BAFFLE. ...The insurance company that covered the replacement of approx $2405.42 (this included labor of $700.) will only replace once in two years ... FREEDOM RV SERVICE IS NOT WILLING SETTLE THIS ISSUE after many attempts ....spence ...Rockport Texas....Service: Electrical

Guess they out lasted us.To their credit Freedom saved us when I had an encounter with a gas station facade. They hustled to replace a roof, AC and antenna but the follow through just never happened. I sent multiple emails and calls over the year to fix a couple of items but got the run around. We had 2 months in the area but they were always researching or ordering or trying to contact insurance. We had to finally leave with no follow up from them. Again, I appreciated the initial repairs but if you want a complete job done you might want to go somewhere else. We never seemed to be a priority after the insurance paid them.

Not happy at all. I requested for them to reseal my entire 5th wheel, from top down. Roof, slides, windows ect. I get an invoice for 1 hour worth of work. I also asked them to get me a bid on fixing a soft spot in my floor. Once I get to my trailer to inspect the work I realize they didn t do a quarter of what I asked. When I questioned them they tell to me that it will be another $586 to do everything I asked for originally. It s not the price of the quote, it s the fact that they didn t do what I asked them to do originally. I have canceled all further work with them because I just don t trust them to do what they say they will do. I have taken my business elsewhere as I suggest that you do the same.

We were stumped and read all the YouTube recommendations without a solution to our problem on our RV. Came to Freedom RV Service and Melissa talked us through other possibilities. She was right and problem solved! So much knowledge! Came back again and they ordered a part for us. So helpful so knowledgeable! Thanks Freedom RV!!!!

Used them several times, always very responsive for service calls and questions. When I have needed parts they have always had them. From minor repairs to welding a hitch on my trailer at my site they have always done a great job for me

The lady at the desk is very knowledgeable. She is also very helpful. The owner came out last year to and fixed our air conditioner. He is extremely nice. Great place to go if you need repairs. Terry & Sylvia Schutt

They have a great inventory in their parts store ,the people at the counter are very pleasant and helpful. We would also like to thank them for their wonderful lunch and music at their grand opening at their new location ,the brisket was yummy !

Wess and his family with there brand new facility do quality work, we were down from Canada, and he took to time to show us what was needed and fixed the factory short cuts, highly recommend

Very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. While one of the mobile technicians was in the Pioneer RV park he took time out of his busy day to answer some questions and give me some helpful advice. Although I didn't receive service from Freedom RV Service I will definitely use them when I'm in need. Recommended!

I called 3 days only to hear, "I'll call you back in 10 minutes." No call, no text, nothing. Until the day after we left Rockport. Guess they won't be fixing our Slendid!

I could not be more pleased at the service I received from Freedom RV.We had a mishap on the way down and had them do an estimate. They made every effort to squeeze us in for an emergency repair working closely with our insurance company. The price was reasonable, service extraordinary. They also made sure to followed up after the repair.Freedom RV does not sell new RVs. Their expertise is in RV repair and service. They certainly showed it. Great people. I can't say enough how much I appreciate their professionalism.

I've used them for years and recommended allot of people here at southern oaks. They didn't show up to appointment yesterday, and there's happened to someone i recommended. I called them next day no reason etc they didn't know what i needed. I have great experience in the past but something has changed. This is just a short outline that went on. I hope they get back to what they were, such good luck with them. We are adding 67 more lots out here, i would love to keep recommending, but Iam not if they continue not showing up etc with no phone call. Like i ststed used for years and have been great!Services: Body & Trim, Air conditioning

We were in Rockport from December 2022 to March 2023. On our way there we noticed we had a leak under our fifth wheel trailer. Turned out we had had the leak for sometime. Realized the leak had saturated all of our underbelly insulation. The rv resort where we were staying recommended Freedom, stating they were bar none the best around. So we called them and set up an appointment to have someone come and remove the belly panels, find leak, repair leak and reinstall new insulation. Jeremy showed up and removed belly panels, removed all the insulation and fixed what he thought was leaking. Then he, we thought, installed all new insulation and Replaced belly panels. He was pleasant and courteous to us. He gave us the bill and instructed us to go to the office to pay the bill. Which we did, praising the job to the ladies in the office. BTW the bill was well over $600.00. 3 days later we still had a leak. I cleaned out my storage area and removed the wall section and found the leak and fixed it myself. Not a problem. Now 6 months later in South Dakota we decided to convert our drum brakes to disc brakes. The mechanics who did the conversion removed belly panels to run the brake lines and noticed something unusual. There wasn t any insulation where there should have been under the trailer. We figured Jeremy didn t expect us to ever find out he didn t do a complete job, but still charged us full price. I called Freedom and sent them pictures of the bottom of my trailer with no insulation there. All they are willing to do is to refund us $135.00 for one hour labor and one roll of insulation. In our opinion that isn t fair. They didn t even do the job completely. Why should we be charged fully? We are full time RVers and as other full timers can attest to, we can t just take the time to have the job done at a moments notice. Hopefully I will be able to get someplace soon and get it done before the winter months. Very unsatisfied customer. Not worth trying to sue over, but will be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Bad word of mouth advertising is just as good as good word of mouth. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. EVER.

I am giving them a 5... one thing that we have lost now adays is CUSTOMER SERVICE... BUT HERE...that is a different story. They will help you look for what you need even if you don't know what it is....lol...me...If they can order it, and they probably can, they will get it for you. There are always smiling faces when I walk in. And according to another customer.....AC WORK was very good. The customer was satisfied because FRV made sure they did it right. Process of elimination...and they got his ac working. They didn't tell him to get a whole new unit until they made sure all was checked 1st. They worked their magic. Hats off to all the repair people out there! You keep us ...

This company didn t diagnose the problem they assumed something, it didn t work yet want to charge me for the service and the part .. unbelievable! I would not use these guy period .

We trust Freedom RV Service for our 5th Wheel. We also own a food truck which shares some of the same components as an RV. The food truck AC quit working. I called Freedom RV Services and they came out the same day and identified the problem. They made a warranty part order, received the part and installed. The AC is fixed! Great service with a smile. We trust Freedom for our home and now our business!Service: Air conditioning

The owner is very knowledgeable. He diagnosed and fixed our a/c very quickly.Then our furnace went out and he was able to diagnose and fix under warranty.Very friendly and professional. His prices are very reasonable as well.

We damaged our camper on the way down to Texas. We received an estimate from freedom. Thinking we had to bring the camper in we were surprised that they sent somebody out. The estimate took a little while but once they figured things out they rescheduled some of the other jobs and squeezed us in. We had a new roof the next day and were able to continue our travels. This place gets nearly five stars and I could definitely see why!

Freedom RV has done work on my RV twice in the last couple of months. The first time we had a water leak and some electrical problems, Wes came out and diagnosed the problem and had it repaired in a timely manner. The second time we got to our RV on a Friday night and the rear A/C had quit, sent Freedom RV a message early Saturday morning and by 4 pm that day, Wes had been to our place and replaced the rear A/C. I can't speak highly enough about Freedom RV and the service they provide!10/4/23I can't speak highly enough about Freedom RV, this is my third time using them. Called yesterday afternoon around 1:30 and by 3:15 they called saying the repair person was heading to my unit. Got the bill this morning and it was very reasonable for the service they provided.

Needed to have the hubs/bearings replaced, packed and sealed. After calling several shops in the area I decided to use Freedom.. Not only were their estimates lower, their employees were much nicer! From the first phone call to Freedom I could tell the experience would be different. They offered to come to the site to do the work, and even stopped by the unit to give me an appropriate estimate prior to scheduling service. Day of service they were on time, even though my tech was delayed on another job, other techs were sent to begin the work. The owner even ended up on site to pitch in and give a hand. So even after having several employees on site (which got the job done quicker) HE CHARGED ME LESS THAN THE ESTIMATE! I cannot tell you enough good about this company Do yourself a favor and save time and money by calling them first!

Wes is highly knowledgeable, fixed things others cannot, is reasonably priced, and does high quality work. We had a long list of things that needed to be looked at yesterday. My husband is very handy, but there are things in the RV that are hidden from view, have no schematics, and only somebody with a lot of experience would know how to find the problem and solve it. Wes knocked out most of our list in one hour, there were a few items that are going to take more work and he is following up with those. Freedom RV service has been our go to RV Mobile Tech in the Coastal Bend area for 4 years, and we recommend them to everyone.

My AC would not turn on in my RV. I called Freedom RV on a Saturday morning and they were super friendly and set me up with an appt for that afternoon. They came out on time, and immediately figured out the problem and how to fix it. He was informative and friendly and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be using Freedom RV for any and all of my RV repair needs. Hands down 5 star service.Service: Air conditioning
