Awesome experience dealing with these guys. Ask for Barry Gurley and he will get you fixed up. They have a great stock on trailer parts and supplies. I highly recommend this location! March is a great month to get a deal on last year models.

This was my first enclosed trailer purchase. Barry was helpful from start to finish, even went the extra mile to show me how to operate the trailer brakes. All went well, no issues, the trailer is great & is everything I hoped it would be.

A big shout out to the team at Big Tex Abilene. I pulled into their parking lot today to change a tire with low pressure. As I prepared to get underway, a very nice young man came out and volunteered to help. I was in work clothes and I greatly appreciated his offer. I pulled into a bay and he had my tire changed in minutes. He saved me time as well as a messy set of clothes! Thank you!!!

If you want the best prices in the area buy here and if you want the best customer service get in contact with Barry. Beyond amazed by the way I was treated by Barry. I called in with no clue what bed size I needed and Barry quickly told me what size my truck needed since I purchased a Cab & Chassis and was buying my first Flat bed purchase. All my questions and doubts were answered and soon scheduled for truck to be fitted with a bed! I ended up adding a flood light on the headache rack for when attaching the gooseneck trailer and two pods perfectly illuminating when loading my 40ft gooseneck. Barry made it so easy by explaining what types of lights they had, the type of patter of light they produced and what would be my best option. I also shopped around in other states looking at different prices and I can say I won t go anywhere else with future trucks! Grade A+++ Service!

Great & Friendly Service FAST Too!!!Drove from Milam, Texas to my CM ER bed for my 2018 Ram Mega Cab Dually the only one in known existence that would fit my truck out of 70+ Big Tex dealerships!Wasn t able to have them install it due to time constraints and the passing of my grandmother but had it installed later the next week by Rockin C Trailers in Nacogdoches, TX.I am very pleased with how it turned out!My wife has always been against me putting a aftermarket bed on it but she kinda likes it with all that fancy stuff on it (stainless & aluminum) LOLIt obviously took me longer to make the round-trip to get it but it would take longer to go through the drive-thru at Chik-fil-a than it took me take care of the paperwork, load up and strap it down! Thank you Barry and the crew at Big Tex in Abilene!!

Great place to rent a trailer from. Unlike the other rental places in town, Big Tex uses some common sense when it comes to renting. Hours are great, I was able to get a trailer rental on Saturday. You can t be the easy access right off I-20. My wife had to return the trailer on Monday and she said they were all very polite to her. I ll do business there in the future.

Excellent customer service! I drove up from San Antonio because of the availability of trailers at the Abilene location. Barry Gurley was great to work with over the phone and when we showed up. He offered the best price over the other dealers and gave us an additional 20% discount on the spare tire. Definitely worth the trip!

On our trip from FL to UT, our car tow dolly suffered issues that were going to cost over $1.600 to repair, according to the only mobile RV mechanic we could find who would work on it. We were in Austin, on our way to Sweetwater, and needed to find a replacement to pickup the following day. We asked The Google who had the Master Tow dolly we wanted and Big Tex came up. We spoke to Barry, who said yes, they had one in stock and we could pick it up the next day. The price was very competitive and I told him I'd take it.When we arrived, we discovered we couldn't use the one with electric brakes and needed one with surge brakes. He happened to have one in stock and not only got it ready for us but also agreed to take our old tow dolly off our hands. Barry was helpful, professional and worked hard to get us taken care of. Five stars!

I took a neckover trailer to them to get warranty work done since neckover agreed to it. Got trailer back first time we pulled still has the same issue. Poor shop workWe took another trailer in to get a hub replaced. Burned the hub up the first time we pulled it. Took it back and they replaced it again and so far its holding up. More poor quality workThis company is now owned by the same people that own PJ trailers. Scum companies for the both them

We just bought a trailer for our band program and had a great experience! Barry and Steven were incredibly helpful and gave us a great price! They installed our EZ Track system that we had forgotten to add the same day within a couple of hours. Definitely recommend going here!

I highly recommend this location for your trailer needs We came across it when a previous trailer had to be repaired unexpectedly. He got us in with no questions asked. Once we began looking to purchase a new one, we called and one had come in the same day, the tires weren t even on yet He gave us his word he would hold it for us while my Husband was on the road and three days later we were able to purchase our new 40ft 25GN trailer and it is an absolute beauty!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! My daughter broke down a few miles from BigTex with a trailer load of horses headed to Lubbock. Stephen and his team went above and beyond to get her trailer repaired. He worked closely with the trailer manufacturing to ensure that the correct parts were ordered and continued following up on shipment in an effort to get her back on the road again. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, patient, fair, and professional throughout the entire process which made a very unfortunate situation seem much more bearable.

Store manager Stephen Battle was helpful and pleasant to discuss pricing, and Salesman Barry Gurley in true professional fashion sold and explained all the necessary trailer accessories for my new trailer. Barry stayed after hours to make the sale since I was driving from out of town! True customer service! 5-Stars!

We called when passing by last Thursday, and Steve, the manager gave us all the information we needed on a trailer we wanted to purchase for our new Can-Am. The purchase price was good, too. We called again on Friday and we were heading back that way from the Ft. Worth area where we had delivered freight. Barry knew everything that we needed as Steve had passed the info on to him. We gave him out eta, and when we arrived, Barry had everything ready to make our purchase quick and easy. Very professional and friendly. We highly recommend Big Tex Trailer World in Abilene. I bought an Enclosed Trailer today! Had an awesome experience and very smooth process while purchasing. I want to give a big shout to Barry for his great work! We came from out of state to purchase a trailer and Barry made the process super easy! He prepared all of the paperwork beforehand and was ready to go as soon as we got there. Very organized, friendly, and helpful! Trailer was in great condition and he even made sure all lights worked properly before we headed out. Turns out we had a fuse that was no good and he was quick to grab one for us. I'd definitely purchase from them again in the future and would recommend them to friends and family for sure! Had a great experience with this company. It started at the Lubbock location. They didn t have the trailer I was looking for, but Ray was a tremendous help, by looking all over the South Plains, and finding what I was looking for at their Abilene facility. With no commissions going to him, Ray entered all of my credentials to ensure a smooth transaction. Once in Abilene, I noticed that my trailer had already been pulled out of inventory and waiting in the parking lot. I was greeted by Barry Gurley. Super nice guy, and knowledgeable. Even with all the questions I had, Barry was able to get me in and out the door in under 15 minutes. In this day and age it s refreshing to see a company who s focus is customer satisfaction, and these guys certainly personify that.
