They were very patient about my car over heating. They attempted 2 to test my valve head gaskets. Due to overheating, my radaitor overflow tank melted, and it prevented them from completing the test. A new overflow tank was over $700 new plus labor. So they let me purchase a used replacement on eBay for a fraction of the price, and I installed it on my own in the parking lot. I purchased the kit to do the valve head test, and the test was negative. I replaced the thermostat myself when I was stuck in a town in Virginia. I burped the lines. I must not have gotten all the air out of the lines, and the car continued to overheat, so I had AAA tow it back to Sevierville. It sat in their parking lot for 2 weeks. The air must have escaped from the lines while waiting for me to put a new overflow tank on. I tested drive the car, and it stopped overheating. They did charge me for any work and sent me on my way. They are very nice to work with. I recommend them for car service... Thanks guys, you helped me save my day...

I felt like this was a good place to go to. I trusted these guys because my stepdad trusted them, and they seemed nice. I don't know what happened this time, but they have really disappointed me. I brought my car there because my neutral safety switch wasn't working, and the whole process of them working on my car ended up taking nearly 10 days. Some days it felt like they didn't care about me or my car AT ALL. Then finally, on Thursday the 14th, I get a call that my car will be done "tomorrow by lunchtime", so I decided to take a half-day from work on Friday so I could get my car. Little did I know, they were very dishonest. My car wasn't done until around 3:00 pm. When I walked in to get my car, one of the men said "How did I know it was you?" and I could only take it to be rude. Then when I went to finally take my car, it stopped running in their parking lot and my TCS light was on. I told them what was up, and then they fixed it. One of them FORGOT to plug in something. I had my car there for nearly 10 days and they still forgot to plug something in. I'm really sad that I can't trust this place anymore.

Well, I m not one to do reviews, but needed to do this one. We are local and have used this business for our vehicles many times. Never had a problem until. A few months back, we took our car in and had brakes worked on. I went to pick it up and Cecil, the owner told me how much and I said ok and paid for my services. After he took our money, he said to me, I need to show you something we both walked out to my car and the front end was severely damaged I wrecked your car he replied. 6000 later and yes his insurance paid for my damages, I guess I m just saying that AFTER he took my money knowing that he wrecked my car. Everyone that I have told this story to, can t believe how that was handled. So just be cautious check your car before you pay them.Service: Brakes

My daughter's Jeep developed a brake issue while we were in the area on vacation. The guys at Thomas were able to diagnose the problem and repair it the same day. Very appreciative of the quick work and the repair.

Tried to Fix an alternator but didnt get it car quit and it cost gas and time for family to have to come Tennessee to pick up my parrents. Then they had to go back up and get car to shop sonthe had to pay more gas money and hotel. He just said sorry the person working on it has some issues, he did offer a refund or part refund to cover all the extra money that had to be spent due to his machanic not doing his job corre tly

Unexpectedly fast service for a last minute repair. Our car's starter died after we arrived in town. AAA recommended Thomas Auto and towed the car to the shop late Friday morning. They were honest about being unsure if the repairs could be completed before the end of the day on a holiday weekend but managed to get the job done before the end of the day, saving us the need to find lodging into the next week.Highly recommend.

We called this morning for diagnostics on our a/c. My husband took it in and was shocked by the outcome! Dillan came out and said, "you are all set Mr. Carney. You have air." Confused, he replied, "how much do I owe you?" Dillan says, "awe, it was nothing. $5 part." Way to build a future clientele!!! We will be taking our other vehicles to them as well!! My husband and I were in town about 3 weeks ago on vacation and had car problems. We called AAA to have our car towed and AAA recommended this business and advised we would get a discount for the affiliation. We were somewhat hesitant at first because we had no clue what kind of service to expect but still proceeded. The car was towed there on a Saturday. Thomas Auto was able to have our car repaired by the end of the week. They explained they had quite a few vehicles dropped off that weekend. They were very friendly, empathetic, and did a great job. We wish we had them in our city because of the reliability. Would definitely recommend them.Service: Transmission

We are on a trip visiting family, and our car's rear tire was making a screeching noise. Sounded like something was stuck in the tire. They were fully booked, but they still had the kindness to drive it a bit and see if they could determine what was wrong. They were able to deduce from all the mountains that the brakes were overheated and had caused crystallization which was making the noise. They wouldn't let us pay them, truly a fantastic place!

Wonderful people.. my car was having a problem the other day I called them to ask them what they thought and they told me exactly how to fix it was an easy thing to fix. I didn't even have to take it to their shop. These people are real honest and reliable.

Our vehicle wouldn t crank as we were headed back home from a week stay in Sevierville. I was afraid we wouldn t be able to find anyone to even look at it since it was holiday season. But Thomas looked at it, repaired it, and had us back on the road in 2 hours. And the cost was even less than the original quote. These guys were so nice and honest. On our last day of vacation our van started acting up. Was referred here by our cabin owner and they did not disappoint. I was extremely concerned that my family would be looking for somewhere to stay an extra day while repairs were being made and had no idea what we would do for transportation if that was the case but the Thomas Auto Team diagnosed the problem and had us back in our vehicle in 1 hour! The BEST mechanics I have ever used!! I was in a difficult situation with a Chevy Silverado. The guys at the shop were honest - they didn t try to sell/charge me for things I didn t need. They diagnosed and fixed each problem and took the time to discuss my situation and needs. They were also so kind and understanding with me when I drove up crying and frazzled with the check engine light on and beeping. Had college age daughters driving cross country and they got an overheat light. These guys helped me find a tow right away and made time to evaluate the issue that same day. Wow, what great customer service...hard to find these days!

Took my 350z in at Thomas auto after multiple visits to Nissan and different auto repair shops trying to figure out what was wrong. Not even an hour later they had done everything that needed to be done to make my car run perfectly again and it was just a simple wire that all the other places over looked. Very impressed! Will always bring my car here if I need auto repairs!

Alternator broke down on a Saturday while on vacation. They were not open until Monday morning. I got there first thing Monday morning and they said they would have it ready that afternoon. very professional and fast.The A/C condenser in my Ford Escape went out and I got a quote from Ford first and had to pay for 1 hour of labor that only took 20 min or less which was almost 200.00 loss and a quote of over 1,000 plus tax to fix. Thomas garage did it for less than 1/2 and was done in one day. Thank you for your excellent service
