Save yourself time and effort and just go to another auto parts store. Orielly s, Advance Auto in another town??. All other locations of Advance Auto are helpful. Stay away from this location in Portland. Too complex and too many mess ups for what was should be a simple process to purchase auto parts. Get too many parts here that have been returned incomplete by previous purchasers and low quality customer service .I am hoping they can improve. I keep trying to give this location another chance over and over and I have to be done. They have demonstrated too many times they have no issue with wasting my time. When they ve gotten good folks to work here in the past, they don t last long. Avoid, avoid, avoid this location.

Randy was very helpful in getting tiny parts for three different vehicles, he was kind patient and very knowledgeable. Good store with good professional employees.

Customer service is not so great. Nobody ever came to ask me if I needed help or anything. I was in the store a good 5-10 min before I had to go ask for assistance. Everyone was helped but me. Then when I asked about a product he s looking at me like I m speaking a foreign language, it s clear he didn t really want to help. Made me feel like I was an inconvenience to HIM. They were more helpful with everyone than they were with me. It didn t help I was the only black person, like clearly they saw see me. I walked up to the counter and the guy went in the stock room! The other employee didn t seem like he wanted to check me out either.

I can't give any parts house more than a three..it's impossible to hire knowledgeable help.its strictly pc training I guess.there should be a crash course for all the parts stores..I do understand.but I just went to one today.i ask for two feet of 5/16 fuel line..and I was ask what make of car does it fit. a basic understanding of cars and engines,parts 30- 60 day school.but they try.....

We called from the interstate alternator going out asked if they had one the employee looked up said they did he went above and beyond to help us It was 30 mins til closing time these guys stayed until we put the alternator on of course the battery was dead the employee Put jumper cables on his personal vehicle and stay about an hour after closing to charge the battery and make sure the truck would start and we were good to go!! Thank you so much for Outstanding Customer service above And beyond! These guys at Advanced in Portland Tennessee deserve a raise for sure! Thanks again

I would love to say Thank you to a wonderful gentleman today. My windshield wiper quit working and I made it to that store. He came out and fixed it while it was pouring down rain. I am very grateful for that. I feel bad that I didn't get his name. He is slim with light red hair. Again, thank you!

Wasn't impressed with the prices, the price on oil was ridiculous and I don't like employees who act like they'd rather be somewhere else. If you don't like the job find another one, right?

Great and helpful staff. Easy to find. Lots of available stock. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. Went here a couple times now. My family and I just recently moved to the area. I've had good experience here so far. Needed to ask the staff questions involving parts and both times they were very helpful.

Very friendly employee and he installed the battery I had bought. He also cleaned all the connections, cables and the battery compartment really well before he installed the new battery. Very happy with my experience.

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. They accidentally sold me the wrong oil filter however I took it back and they gladly replaced I also participate some Tire cleaner and some additive that was on sale at a very good price highly recommend

I went there needing a code reader hooked to my car. I got that plus a battery, alternator, and starter check for free! Very helpful!

Went for a headlight and left with a headache. Whatever you do check your part number before coming here because both guys I had looked up wrong thing. If you do manage to get the part you need, battery or what have you. Don't ask for help with it because they are to busy talking on the phone or smoking out back to take the time. I will never go here again, even if I have to overpay a mechanic!

It usually always sucks if you find yourself in a parts house. It normally means your having some kind of trouble with your vehicle. But they were helpful enough

Went in for a lowbeam headlight, I told the counter guy "Mike" it was a 9006, he looked at up and said it was a H11. I had to pull the old one out to prove to him it was a 9006, he made the comment they don't install bulbs because they messed up too many cars and he just works there. Long story short, I replaced my bulb with the right one.

Always have the part I need and if it's not on the shelf they get it fast. They also help with the wipers and check my battery and alternates. Those are thing I can't do on my own and it would cost a small fortune to have a shop do it.

Staff is friendly and helpful, I would just make sure you call and verify that items are in stock. Don't believe the website.
