The only 100% honest mechanic I've encountered in the city. My only choice for auto work of any kind. The owner is a Ford certified Master Mechanic with decades of experience and a hard working professional crew. NOT THE CHEAPEST. But excellent work at a fair price.

Mike was able to get me in right away in the morning to fix a broken rear shock while I was on a road trip. Great customer service and work- if I lived in Nashville I'd be a repeat client!

We had broke down on hwy 24. The steering went out on my RV. Made some phone calls and primm's was highly recommended. They suggested a towing company that got us to their shop right before closing time. The owner let us stay in our camper overnight and they got started on it first thing in the morning. Great service, I would recommend them for all your service needs. The owner really cares for his customers and his employees. He cooks them breakfast and lunch on the grill. I thought that was pretty cool.

Terrible experience! They are friendly and fast at first but the quality of there work is poor and they are not honest. I took my car to them after my accident where I had rear side damage and a bent suspension. When I received my car back the paint job was poor and filled with trash and pinholes, my alignment was still bent, and they didn t paint the rim the insurance paid them for. After having to bring it back they replaced the control arms on the impacted side but they didn t preform a 4-wheel alignment (which the insurance paid them twice for) because there was damage to the non impacted side that the insurance wouldn t pay for. After a month and 2 sets of tires due to bad alignment I took my car to pep boys for a 4 wheel alignment and everything s been fine. After asking primm s where they going to refund me for the alignment they didn t do they tried to lie and say they never got paid twice for the alignment even though I had the paperwork showing otherwise in my hand. After a while the owner Mike got hostile for no reason gave me $100 and told me to never come back. How you mad because you got paid to do a job you didn t do and now I m asking for my money Back for a service you didn t preform??? Also let them replace my fuel pump not even 5 minutes after leaving the shop my car broke down on the side of the freeway and there is even more to the story. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!Services: Body & Trim, Engine repair

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Great value and QUICK turnaround. I will always take my car to Primm's. Mike was awesome and was great to communicate with. I had my car towed to the shop Saturday and he stayed late to meet the tow truck. I feel not many places would do that. He had my car fixed the same day he looked at it. Everywhere else I considered taking it to couldn't even look at it for 2 weeks. Mike was great and anyone that doesn't bring their car to Primm's is making a mistake. 10/10 would recommend!!!Service: Electrical

We spent over $3,000 with the Ford Dealer in Madison. They still had not fixed our issue and as a matter of fact, they had our truck for over a week. I had a friend recommend speaking with Mike at Primm's. Since I work right around the corner, I took it to them and I will ALWAYS be coming back. What we thought was going to be a transmission, over $4k, was something Mike was able to fix for $600! Excited we were and we have not had issues since and that was 3 months ago. He kept us informed by calling, texting pics etc. I have since started to take my Nissan Pathfinder there as well, again, had an issue with the downtown Nissan dealership, I told them my rotors were and issue and they said it wasn't and I paid nearly $1,900 and the problem was still there. Took it to Primm's and it was fixed in less than $300! I completely trust them and will drive my vehicles to Primm from now on!Service: Wheel alignment

My check engine light came on while traveling and the folks at primms (especially Mike) were super kind and helpful! They got me in right away and didn t even charge to run the diagnostic and check what was wrong. He took the extra time to explain to me what was wrong. Much appreciated!

I absolutely LOVE this business. Great customer service and honest business. I purchased a vehicle from William and he was amazing!!! Mike took care of our vehicle and provided excellent care to us as customers. I love my new car it runs PERFECT and my boyfriend plans to be buying another vehicle soon!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS!

The mechanics at Primm's Automotive are fantastic! I have had a hard time finding a mechanic that I could rely on in Nashville but now I have finally found one. I called to have a new starter put on my landcruiser and they had me in and out the same day and at a very reasonable cost. I am going to take all my trucks to them from now on. Very professional and fast. No up-charging going on there.

I had a noise in my rear end,after Primm drove it said seems to be a hub bearing,the dealership said rear bearings at a cost $2000 thanks Primm...Honest,good pricing $786 even had away home from shop...I'm going back to get more work done

Hands down the best shop in Nashville. Extra props to Mike for going WELL above and beyond to diagnose and fix a 2 year ongoing gremlin that numerous other shops in town have never been able to find or fix. Great pricing, and even more amazing customer service. Thanks guys! You got yourself a new customer!

Got an oil change here and they put synthetic blend oil in, instead of the full synthetic recommended right there on the oil cap. To be clear, they put the wrong oil in my vehicle.I only noticed something was up because the sticker was only 3k miles different, instead of the usual 5+ for synthetic oil.So I asked... the desk guy had the nerve to tell me "oil really hasn't changed much" and that I should just get it changed 2k miles sooner than recommended. This place puts on a great face, but cut big corners with my vehicle.

I personally have been going to Mr. Primm for over 10 years. He s my mom s mechanic. And if you know my mom, she is a stickler for details and getting things right... he is very fair, honest, and fast. I recommend him to all of my friends and family.

I would like to thank Mike and the rest of the guys at primms. We were from out of state and in a spot with our car acting up. They fixed our car and transported me back and forth to our motel room so I didn't have to wait on site. With all this they told me what needed to be fixed. Fixed it and the price was very reasonable. I am from out of state otherwise I would use them for all my mechanic needs!!
