WARNING: You should generally be cautious of places that have so many 1 and 5 star reviews mixed.Went in for a simple oil change (as per usual). They added extra charges and services that we didn't request. Instead of saying "that's our bad, we went ahead and gave you a refund and comp for services" the message I got was "we can't take it back and I would've heard you if you'd said otherwise."Doug's a nice guy and I certainly don't mind paying more for quality. However, their service is fine until they mess up. Then it's on you and they end up being unprofessional. Disappointing.

I took my car in for an oil change and after Doug confirmed my contact information he still preferred contacting my husband to give him the the updates on MY car. I went in to pick up my car when it was finished and found out there were some discrepancies to which he replied that he had talked them over with my husband instead of listening to my preferences and points.It's 2024 ladies. We can take our car to the shop by ourselves without supervision I like to call it polite misogynism.

Today I had my front end alignment, balance and rotate tires on my 2015 CRV. This shop is great from the front desk manager to the mechanic who worked on my car. I'm a car guy and know enough to know I will keep them in mind next time I need mechanical work done.

I have always had a positive experience with these guy's. They fix or replace only what needs to be fixed or replaced. If suggestions are made, they are mentioned and not pushed. Friends and family say the same. Highly recommend.

Almost cost me my life. I brought my BMW in for an alignment. ($120) And they miss adjusted the coil overs so badly that the spring was just rattling around on the shock. There was No tension. When I took a turn, I almost ran into another car. I took it to my mechanic and he said it doesn t even look like you got an alignment .

This is one of the sister stores the other one is on Charolette Pike. These are the BEST mechanics in West Nashville. Prices are great. I have been a customer for 10 years. I drive from Hickman Co for all my work at either store. Justin is the best exhaust welder I ve seen. The owner is great and his teams.

Can I rate below 1 star? This was truly a bad customer service experience.I looked online for deals on tires and found a set at Midas on sale. Midas also did alignments, so I filled out the order form and submitted. It said I should wait "30 business minutes" and the shop would give me a call confirming the appointment and order. The call never came so I went ahead and called myself figuring they were busy. We scheduled an appointment for about a week later for the referenced tires and an alignment.When I arrive for my appointment, they hadn't ordered my tires, but only had an alignment listed on my appointment. They took the appointment without ordering any tire after I ordered online and called to confirm.I asked about why my tires weren't there and they told me, "You should have called" (I did.) and that "we don't have time to look online and "the online shop often gives quotes on tires the shop can't get." Another comment that was made was, "we could probably have another staff member just doing online orders." Why have an online shop at all if you aren't going to use it?Of course, none of this was relevant in the moment as the customer, just excuses when an apology would have gone along way. They were able to order the tires, but it set me behind a day with my car and the inconvenience of my family dropping me off and picking me up. I choose to leave my car there, because they assured me that the tires would arrive in the morning and they will get them on quickly.I get a call later that day saying, "Your tires are here, you can bring your car!" I said, "Bring my car? YOU have my car, I left it and my keys." How did they not know they had my car?I get a call later saying, "You tires are on, your car is ready to pick up." When I ask about the alignment they said, "We couldn't do that, your car doesn't fit correctly on our lifts. The alignment was a major part of the appointment. Why wouldn't they call me and tell me they were having an issue before asking me to pick it up? The alignment was still on the order form when I arrived to pick up the car, they told me they were taking it off. Were they not going to say anything?I am not usually the one to care about minor hiccups or misunderstandings, but the barrage of negligence for merely buying tires and an alignment was absurd. Great staff. Busy place, so make sure to make an appointment. Saw many walk-ins turned away or asked to make an appointment. But they did accommodate numerous smaller walk-in requests.

Do not recommend! They are expensive and when I picked up my car from a rear brake job which cost me $528, I did not notice until a few days later they had left off one of the lug nuts, on the rear left wheel!! It is dangerous to drive your car without all the lug nuts as it shifts the even balance of pressure on the wheel.I called them and the Service Manager John said, well you still have four lug nuts so it should be ok. What?!! He told me they did not have a single lug nut at their store. He had to order one. He told me he would call me back. I asked to speak to the Store Manager Keith Bolduc, was told he was not there and he would call me back. he never did.I was finally able to get the lug nut replaced.Really poor service at this place. And potentially dangerous if I had not noticed the missing lug nut myself, and had kept driving my car without it!

I set up an appointment online for an afternoon appointment and upon arrival I was told that that didn t actually book an appointment and that their online system doesn t work and I was supposed to call. That wasn t the end of the world, I get it. So I had them order the parts I was going to need and I was told I could come in Saturday morning first thing at 7:30am since they do first come first serve. I arrived on Saturday at 7:31am and went to check in. The gentleman at the desk told me it would take 3 hours. 3 HOURS for an oil change. I thought he was joking at first because I was the second person in the shop. The gentleman was very cold and borderline rude his tone, as if I was inconveniencing him. I walked out and will not be returning. Take your business elsewhere and save yourself some time and headache.

Arrived with a working vehicle and asked for a quote on spark plugs. They promptly broke the distributor and told me it would be over $1200 for the vehicle to be able to startup again. No attempt to make it right, just told it was my problem to deal with. They offered to do the spark plugs for over $500 stating it still probably wouldn't start still. Never had an experience like this before, feel like I'm getting robbed.

Wanted new tires. 1700.00Alignment. 129.00New plugsNew air filterNew fuel filterPlus I had an issue with idle and a second issue with aunt start/stop3k in work easy. I took it in this morning and was told wouldn't be able to get tires until late this afternoon but should get it in today. I told him that was fine I could bring it back the following day as well as I'm literally working next door.At 5:00 I walked over and they called me into the shop by name and said hey you're next going in. I said you're not going to get much done in an hour but at least I can get new tires and alignment. I'll bring it back in the morning for the remaining work.I walked back over at 5:59 and they had done zero work. I told the gentleman you said to me an hour ago..... and that's when he raised his voice at me and told me I didn't tell you anything that was the other guy. I tried to explain to him what he had told me an hour ago but all he wanted to do is yell. I yelled back took my keys and left. I'll take my work elsewhere!

Have had trouble booking appointments, even when trying to schedule several days in advance. Scheduled an appointment last Sunday to have work done today(Thursday). The reply confirming the appointment said it could take a "couple of hours" which is fair enough. I dropped the car off before 9:30 AM, came back at 11 AM to check on the progress, and they told me they still had three cars ahead of me. According to my calculation, that means my car would be ready between 12:30 and 2 PM and I didn't want to wait in the lobby that long. That is a long time to get a leak fixed in my tire so I left and will get it fixed at Firestone tomorrow. I bought my Cooper tires at Belle Meade Midas last winter and have had a hard time scheduling appointments for tire rotation. In September I tried scheduling an appointment five days in advance and they told me they were all booked up. Went to a competitor and got same day service. So much for free rotation and service. Their work is fine, but it is harder to set up an appointment for tire service than it is to schedule hip replacement surgery. My advice; go somewhere else. They are plenty busy and don't need any more business. Unfortunately, I already bought my tires there.Service: Tires

I just had new Michelin tires installed, plus an oil change, radiator flush and signal lamp issue. These guys have a lot of volume to keep up with, and I think they did a great job. No one likes to pay for repairs to their vehicle and no one's perfect, but I will return.

I had to have my brake pads replaced. Midas was about $30~$50 per axle less expensive than other providers. I was also able to take advantage of their oil change coupon during my visit. I waited on the job in a clean and friendly customer area. I was kept informed of the progress and told when my vehicle would be completed as well as notified when there was only 30 minutes left.My vehicle was tested and driven by the repairman and delivered to me at the waiting area. The steering wheel had been covered in plastic and a paper carpet protector put down. Both were removed when I was presented with the vehicle.I have been driving for several days since without problems. And of course, Midas provides a lifetime warranty on parts.So, I highly recommend this location and this team. I appreciated their prompt and courteous effort and the work of the technician who visited with me to review the job. All in all, very impressed.

I had a 9 AM appointment to get new tires/alignment. Upon arrival, I told the man that I had been unable to get a ride & would be waiting on the car. I had my dog with me. The job was supposed to take 60-90 minutes. I told the guy the dog & I would take a walk, that I would have my cell phone with me & to please call if there was an issue or they finished up early. Off we went, came back more than an hour later & took a seat. And waited. And waited. Finally saw my "service advisor" & asked if my car was ready. Nope, they hadn't even started on it. He said "There were other customers in front of you, I have a technician out with a sick baby, etc etc." I understand problems arising. All they had to do was tell me there were issues & I would have happily made arrangements to come back later. Finally left at just after 11, without the tires. I will be going elsewhere.Service: Tires

Fine, on June 30, my 2020 Fusion appointment, car in, car out. Thought this isgret keeps me from having yo deal with Wyatt Johnson!Not so fine this past Thursday appointment for my 2013 Mustang told it would probably be 2 hours before my car could be taken in! and 4 hours to finish!The reason I schedule appointments is to keep from having someone else take me home and bring me back.Aside from not honoring my appt time, the attitude of the young man was certainly not customer friendly! The older man who helped me in June was very nice.In order to not say something I might regret later, I left.Stopped @ Lawson s got air and an appt for Wednesday, with an assurance that I d be out within an hour or so!I won t be going back to Midas gave 2 stars for good service in June, and negative 3 for Dec. 23.Service: Oil change

Car problems are always frustrating and we have all had to deal with them from time to time. The people who work at this Midas location were professional, knowledgeable, and so very pleasant. They suggested I get my battery posts cleaned of corrosion I regretfully said yes and 2 days later I'm having battery issues. (No lights left on our any other reason for this issue) according to their receipt they inspected everything so why is my battery now dead? Great question. I called quite upset to tell them my issue and all I got was "okay have a good day"

You WILL over pay, and if you don t pay close attention to the work being performed DURING your car s service, there might be further damage to your vehicle after it is serviced at this location!!!Had a starter replaced. Quoted 6 hours labor and a $1200 charge to fix. Being on a business trip 3 hours away from home, stranded, I frustratingly, accepted my situation...truck sat over the weekend. Now, 2 days behind schedule and still needing a vehicle, I impatiently waitied in the lobby, watching through the window, I saw my truck on the rack with an occasional tech come and go. After several hours waiting, I finally got my keys, paid, and hit the road. Stopped about 30 minutes later to refuel. When I got out of my truck I smelled antifreeze. Opened my hood and the radiator was spewing and the cap was resting under the hood inside the windshield wiper trench...after calling Midas to ask why the radiator was even touch, I was told it was routine to drain the radiator when replacing a starter.Not only did I overpay, I m lucky to still have a vehicle...Had I kept driving my engine could ve blown.After getting home, I took the truck to my local mechanic who flushed and refilled my radiator then gave the truck a once over underneath to make sure I m safe on the road, as I feel unsafe and unsettled after my experience at Midas.

Frustrated in the cost of my upper air intake manifold replacement. Was told the cost of the parts was expensive "because Mercedes." But I decided to call MB Nashville and ask for the cost of the part. Mercedes was asking less than half what Midas was charging me. And now I am questioning whether 6 manifold gaskets were necessary to replace 1/2 of an intake manifold. They were $46 each per my bill, but online I see them for 8 dollars. I was frustrated with the explanation I was given by the mechanic. I wish they could be more straightforward.Service: Auto maintenance

Service was fine. The main thing that has changed is the prices have skyrocketed since it was American Tire. Even the 2 customers who were having their car serviced questioned them. Keep an eye on the small charges that's where they get you. Will be shopping around next time for sure.

Work was good..front desk person (George) was extremely discourteous and rude.From the moment I approched the front desk he had an attitude.I was in the day before but the wait was too long so the " nice" front desk person made me an appointment for the next day. When I walked in to check in "George" said "the only appt is for a name of Brown". So he proceeded to ask for my information 3 TIMES rudely Everytime...I took a seat and the mgr ask me if I wanted a water..I declined it but told him about my experience with George...he said he would speak to him.I watched George be overly pleasant to all the male customers...I was the only female in this store.But to add insult to injury... George called me Ms Brown when my car was ready..THAT IS NOT MY NAME!!!! As I had told him 3 times when I checked in...As I was checking out the snide comments continued....so I told George I hope he was more polite to the next woman who walked in....I told the mgr I would never come back if I had to interact with this Jerk.... His reply was he would speak to George after his shift...so I hope no other woman entered that store after I left and had to deal with that disrespectful jerk!!!The actual service crew was very good.....Service: Oil change

Took my vehicle in due to a flat tire. The staff was fantastic, very friendly and helpful. They were unable to patch the tire due to rim damage, but ordered a new tire that came in the same afternoon! Highly recommend them!

Could not have asked for a worse experience. I sat there for over 3 hours to be told that my tire could not be repaired and they did not have one in stock. I understand that not all tires can be fixed and that all sizes can be kept in stock but to keep someone until 3 hours is poor customer service. They waited until they were about to close to tell me which prevented me from going anywhere else. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. GREAT SCHEME!
