My father has worked with Doug and the McDuffee tire crew for over 30 years, and I now use them for all my tire and mechanic needs as well. They are hard working, honest people. You can expect to receive a quality service for a fair price from this group.

Customer service was kind and quick. Communication was clear. And service was exactly what I needed.I called them on a Monday morning about my brakes. Dropped it off Tuesday. They called me an hour later to say the inspection was done and gave me a quote. They said it would be done by 2:30 that afternoon despite their busy day. I picked it up and my brakes are as smooth as ever.

The guys who run this store are class acts. Doug, the owner and Jordan his estimator are professional and EXTREMELY honest. They will guide you and give a honest estimate. They have never overcharged me on any work. They recently helped me diagnose and address a difficult to analyze drivetrain issue. This is the reincarnation of the old neighborhood service station with the mechanics you knew and could trust.

This place/ these mechanics saved my GMC Yukon XL! I thought it was over for my working SUV, and thanks to Doug and the staff, it runs great! I suggest this place for any and everyone in the Nashville area, especially if your vehicle is used for work. I m super happy with my experience here. Big THANKS to you guys

Had a great experience getting a screw removed from my tire here, they were very friendly & quick, squeezed me in for an appointment even though it was right before they closed for the holidays and got my tire fixed for under $30!

Had a great experience! We had a last minute tire issue and they fit us in and fixed our tire same day. The guy who helped us was very nice and helpful and I was in and out quickly. I m not usually one to give out reviews, but these guys really deserve a good one. They fixed my coolant level and checked for what I thought was a major oil leak. They saved me so much money when they could ve easily overcharged me (as I know very little about cars). They were timely, efficient and trustworthy. I will definitely be going back for all my car needs.

I was passing through Nashville on my way home to ATX when I realized I had a nail in my rear passenger tire. With no appointments at other large chains available for the next few days, I had a gut feeling to contact this small business based on reviews. When I called shortly after they opened, I spoke quickly with the lovely Jordan who said I could come in and get fixed up right away. Sure enough, that's what happened - with no appointment I was in and out in a little over an hour, with Jordan updating me on the progress several times. Thank y'all so much!!! 5 star customer service for the genuine kindness, promptness, and affordability I experienced.

I went in to fix a vibration that discount tire couldn t diagnose. McDuffee found that a tire was improperly balanced and fixed it free of charge. I really appreciate their professionalism and dedication to their customers. It would have been easy to send me on my way (like Discount tire), but they listened and fixed my problem. They did all this and kept the car clean. I highly recommend them for your automotive needs.

I would give them a 10! Doug and his staff were very accommodating to my situation. They were kind, professional and very caring. Got me in last minute, accommodated my schedule, serviced my vehicle and I was out with time to spare. We called this location to get a quote for a new set of tires. We asked a few questions about what we were looking for. We were appalled when the person on the phone blatantly used racially-charged terminology to describe other tire stores. Needless to say, we will no longer be patrons of this business.

Called later in the afternoon needing a tire patched from a small nail, and they accommodated same day service. After checking in, work was done 15 mins later and the nail didn t in fact puncture the tube, and they didn t even charge me. Good to know there are still some good, trustworthy mechanics out there. Thanks for the great service!

I can't say enough great things about McDuffee Tire. I've been a customer for over 7 years and I've never have a bad experience. They are honest, customer focused, and despite being busy will always try to find a reliable solution for your problem. I am so thankful for this gem of a place. Nothing but great things to say about this place! Was recommended by a coworker whose opinion I trust and she said her family had gone to McDuffee Tire for years. Kara, Jane & Doug were all so kind and helpful and I didn't feel swindled at all. They listened to my concerns as I was in the weird spot of spending a good chunk of change to fix my brakes vs just buying a new car and they helped me navigate that. They also provided a discount for me through my work! The location was super convenient too. Getting my brakes fixed was a huge stressor for me over the last couple weeks as they were grinding really loudly and now my car drives great! Would go there again in a heartbeat - 100/10 recommend!Service: Brakes

Very pleased with first visit. Great service and personal evaluation of older truck. Took vehicle to McDuffee's after going to a shop that uses a software workflow-driven system designed to "sell more work." Other shop recommended repairs in excess of the value of vehicle. Doug suggested much more reasonable approach and timeline for fixes and maintenance. I will recommend and will take vehicles there in the future.

We were long time customers here, and due to work changes, it was not convenient to continue. Daughter is in college in Nashville and needed car work so we had her take her car here August 2022. This is a top-notch, family-owned company. Great service, fair prices, trustworthy!

This is my go to mechanic shop in town. They have a great reputation and deservedly so. I can't say they're cheap but that's to be expected in a town like Nashville.I've found them to be honest and upfront in my dealings with them. When I took my truck to the shop, they regularly communicated with me about what they were doing to it and they also gave me advice about what I should and shouldn't have fixed (my truck is pretty old so there's no reason to do too much to it). They were straight up with me and I never felt like they were taking advantage of me.Most importantly, they fixed my vehicle and so far, their repairs have held up well. I didn't make an appointment and it took them a full day to make all of the repairs that needed to be made. I was happy with the turnaround time.I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a trusty and reliable mechanic in town.

I came in with a tire that was losing air and going flat throughout the day - when arriving the woman at the front desk said I d have to leave my car with them for the day and they could get to it later (not an option for me as I was on my way to work) so I asked that they just air it up so I could be on my way. They kindly obliged, so I drove the car back into their bay where they checked the air pressure on all my tires and the employee that helped me went ahead and found & removed the nail that was causing the problem right then and there! He was so helpful and it all took a total of 5 minutes. They sent me on my way and I was good to go! Easy, and so kind! Will definitely be back.

HIGHLY recommend McDuffy after my latest experience. I accidentally drove into the median in front of the shop while looking for oncoming traffic. They immediately pulled my car in the garage and offered to drive me home. There was a reasonable amount of damage to my car, but they quickly got an estimate together and got me back on the road in a week and a half. Nice, honest folks over there who do quality work at reasonable prices.

I had a flat tire that desperately needed attention. I was near Mcduffee s and pulled in. The customer service worker informed me that they did not have any available spots for a few days or even a week due to how booked they were. Even though they couldn t squeeze me in he recommended me to a local shop who got me in and out within an hour! I really appreciate that he was kind enough to recommend their competitor just to make sure I was taken care of! I will definitely be making an appointment in the future! Thanks again!Service: Tires

I went to McDuffie to get new tires after previously getting a quote from the sales staff.Once they started the work they called & informed me that I needed brake repairs. Of course I'm never excited about learning that I need additional car repairs, yet I felt confident that these were necessary repairs, the information was explained clearly, I was given options including the risk timeline on if I wanted to look for another opinion/mechanic.Communications were good, the vehicle was clean when I picked it up.

Arrived at 7:15 am for a 7:30 appointment to have 1 tire changed. Even had the wheel off the car. Dropped them off. Came back 3 hours later and my wheel was still sitting there untouched. Don't bother making an appointment. It means nothing.

I went with these guys to get my wheels balanced. I saw the good reviews online and decided to give them a try- I am happy with my decision. They were extremely courteous on the phone when I explained what I wanted. When I visited the location, the staff at the desk took time to explain the different kinds of services (balancing versus wheel alignment) and guided me to the appropriate service I needed. They never tried to push me into getting a service that I didn't need. They gave me an estimate on the cost and how long it would take, and it was done within the price and time initially quoted. Great experience overall.

Honest as you could hope for in an auto shop! This review is long overdue. When I moved to Nashville 4 years ago, the car I drove here died about a week later. I panicked, not having the funding to get another car and I took it to McDuffee because it was near my job and had great reviews. I'm a single woman who doesn't have deep knowledge of cars beyond the basics, but they told me that they did not think the car was worth putting the money into, that with the shape it was in, it could end up costing me $3k or more and they didn't feel right taking my money. I ended up getting financing for a newer car and have been sending everyone I know that needs vehicle repairs or tires to them.I was recently told by a quick oil change place that my oil pan gasket was leaking and I needed to keep an eye on it, that on a scale of 1-10, it was a 2 so it wasn't critical, but I needed to eventually have it fixed. That was several months ago, so I called McDuffee asking to have it looked at, concerned it needed fixing since I have zero idea how quickly a 2 leak becomes a 10 leak. After talking to Doug, and his asking some questions about what my car is experiencing, he felt that I did not need to come in at this time and to keep monitoring the situation until I'm seeing visible indicators of a leak, which I am not seeing at present.These people could have taken me for a ride both times and I wouldn't have known any better, but they have such integrity and decency that they tell it like it is, even if it doesn't benefit them. That's why I'll always be a loyal customer as long as I reside in Nashville.

McDuffee is fantastic and have always treated us right. I never have to worry that I'm being oversold or fixing something unnecessarily - because they've talked me OUT of repairs that i thought i needed multiple times! I won't go to anyone else for my car mechanic needs.

Over 6 years in Nashville they have always been honest with me. Reasonable prices. Very willing to explain what is going on when I have no clue. They've never rushed me into a decision. And are always willing to ask questions and point out priority fixes

I was on a trip to Nashville for an important surgery my dad was gonna have and we had some serious brake issues. Fortunately I was able to roll into to MvcDuffee and leave it with them. The next day they had it all fixed up and ready to go. They saved me a ton in extra car rental days and the price was very fair. Couldn't recommend them enough.

My place of employment brings their vehicles here. They're always thorough and honest. Hard to find mechanics that k ow what they're doing but you can be confident going here.
