It s like stepping back in time, it s a quaint old-fashioned gas station. I pass this station quite often, I work in the vicinity and eat at Star Bagel Cafe and Edley s BBQ regularly. So finally, yesterday I took it upon myself to stop, get gas and check it out, because I love supporting small owned businesses. Well, let s say, that my visit did not go as planned. I pulled in, got out of my truck and immediately felt uncomfortable. All eyes were on me, no greeting or anything, the gentleman turned and went inside. I soon discovered that there is no pay at the pump, which is fine, so I headed inside. The gentleman looked at me like I didn t belong there. I just got blank stares, I explained that I needed to get gas. Finally, the older gentleman said (in a mean voice) just pump then come back and pay and waved me out the door (very i ll-mannered). It s a shame, how discourteous and impertinent people can be, I didn t even get a chance to check out what all the store had to offer because, of the unpleasant atmosphere. They definitely need to learn a lesson on common courtesy.

Good beer selection, but service would be better if no one worked there. I thought the dude with short curly brown hair was going to fight me when I told him the pumps weren't working. I live close, but now I'll just skip this spot.

I USED to recommend this place. I have used Billy's corner for over two years for service on my vehicles until recently. I have been having issues on work that was originally completed at Billy's Corner 6 months ago. I have returned 3 different times to try something new and it has all been classified as under 90 day warranty repairs. Suddenly, after a person who I was going through stopped working at Billy's Corner, they are no longer willing to correct the issues that have been present. Furthermore, Travis (seemed like manager but not sure) was extremely disrespectful in person and over the phone, completely ignored the history of the problem and refused to continue to try to solve the problem unless I pay the original amount for the work to be completed for a second time (may 2nd was the last day parts were put on, still under 90 days...). Ultimately, Travis said I should try somewhere else so that is what I plan on doing and recommending as well.

The gentlemen here were so helpful and made themselves available for a quick tire check, ensuring the tool I had was accurate and educating me on the range of pressure that was safe to drive in. Their service meant that I wanted to come back when I needed to top off on gas. Gotta support and keep the local businesses! And Billy's is a local gem.

They have a keg exchange program that is very handy. They also have good hardy breakfast choices. Unfortunately, for some unknown and undisclosed reeason, they stopped offering hash browns on their breakfast platter.,

I stop into Billy's probably 4-5 days a week grab a coffee, snack or on-the-go breakfast. I enjoy a little banter with Alex, who previously owned the business, and Ducky. You can get a great breakfast any day of the week, and when I was pregnant, I enjoyed (too many) chili dogs here and there.In terms of car care, I have to give a mad shout-out to Tate, who tonight, stopped what he was doing to pull out not one, but TWO screws and patch the holes. I was fixed up and on my way in less than 20 minutes.This place is the epitome of a neighborhood business you know the folks who own it and work there, and they watch out for you like family. AND they hosted the first-ever Sylvan Park Christmas Tree lighting! :)

Great rotating beer selection! Friendly customer service with a good amount of knowledge on craft beer. Also have nitro coffee/kombucha on tap and delicious chilli. Definitely recommend this gem of Sylvan park. They even can work on your car too!

5/5 stars for Billy's Corner. My car wouldnt start the other morning on my way to work and my uber driver suggested Billy's corner for the great expertise and honest opinions. I took my car in for service and had a great first experience. I was unsure what was wrong with my car at first and John immediately knew what the next steps were. Within 5 minutes he had a new battery ordered and within 1 hour I had a new battery and was heading home. If you are looking for a helpful and honest mechanic I highly recommend!

Awesome place! I have taken my car there a couple times and the guys there are quick and honest about what you need. I very much appreciated the latter. I am not very knowledgeable about cars and I didn't feel ripped off. Honestly recommended. I don't think I will go anywhere else anytime soon.

Excellent beer selection. Stephen is very knowledgeable and has an assortment of beers constantly rotating. Great breakfast tacos as well. Nice local gem to have in the neighborhood.

Great place and atmosphere. Feels like the little corner store in your small town you grew up in. Great breakfast, lunch, beer selection. You can also get gas, top off fluids and get mechanical work done. Great place and great people.

I love that places like this still exist. It defies genres and is truly a Nashville staple. The service from John the Mechanic is top notch, and the beer selection is incredible. Treat yourself and give them a visit.

I took my car in thinking I had a flat and John took the time to run all sorts of tests on the car to identify any issues it may have. He was extremely helpful and transparent as to how he would deal with the issues my car had, considering I am about to sell it. I am beyond thankful for his help and transparency.

Took my vehicle here for a simple, routine job. Upon pick up, my car developed an awful noise coming from the engine. The head mechanic claimed it didn t make that sound when he test drove it. Told me to bring it back if the sound continued.I brought my car back. It sat for 12 days, I had to call to check on the status of the repair . These mechanics preformed the job incorrectly or at least without proper knowledge and care for detail. I was told by the head mechanic something to this extent, I hate it, I want to kill it, it s fighting with me , speaking about my car.Fast forward, I picked up my vehicle worse than when I dropped it off. Do not trust this shop with your vehicle. They re charging you to create problems, not fix them.

Our local place for gas and craft beers...Billy has done a nice renovation and staff is very friendly. It is also open on Sunday which is nice.

I brought my vehicle in for service an repair to Billies. I was ready for a substantial bill when finished, I went over an played Golf at McCabe golf. Had a great golf experience there those people really have a developed a remarkable golf course. Well back to Billies an was ready to pay a lot of money for my vehicle repair. However, the high-speed low drag sharp mechanics found my problem was just a simple fix. I am not a mechanic so I was really worried about my vehicle an the cost. These days it's a rare thing to fine such honest sincere profesional young people in one place . I recommend Billies Corner. Mr Hance , you have a great crew thanks

I received efficient and courteous service for a mere tire pressure issue. I recommend them to anyone in their area, or happen to be need a full service station. They are Great!

Unfortunately, I had a long wait time (about 30 min) even though I had set an appointment. It also seemed that the owner was not having a great day when I came in, so I received sub-par service. However, the mechanic who got my oil changed (Austin) made up for it in being very friendly.

I was impressed that they have so many beers. I want to go back and try the restaurant in the back, the food looks amazing.
