American Auto Care is a great place. They really know there job the owner Johnny is very trustworthy. I have been doing business with them sense I move to Nashville in 1993.So if you want the truth and your repair done right go see Johnny.

Johnny and the team are very nice and knowledgeable. Repaired my A/C and a light bulb also changed my oil and checked all fluids in my car. I most definitely will be going back.

I've known Johnny for years and years and years very friendly took care of my dad takes care of my family prices are on point very upfront very professional business there's nothing easy working on cars and he guarantees his work yet I've never had to bring one back probably been there 40 times

We've taken our vehicles to Johnny for years and have always appreciated his honesty and hard work. His prices are fair too. Just get there right when they open to make sure they can get to you same day as they stay busy.

Great service and cheapest prices in town. He always gets my car done in a rely manner. I don't have to wait all day. It is a family owned business. I have been you g there for years. Very nice people. They take their time to get to know you.

A few weeks ago I dropped off my vehicle there there due to motor oil leak. Very soon I got a call from them and was told that the problem was more than they could fix. When I went back to pick up my vehicle I was surprised that they wouldn t charge me anything because they didn t work on it. Man, back when I went to Meineke in Murfreesboro, no matter what the issue was, a diagnostic fee around $100 was guaranteed charge. I am truly impressed by how American Auto Care treats customers.

I had a great experience at this location. Johnny was awesome he was very friendly and extremely helpful. My car needed some engine work the price was reasonable and they were very honest about what was needed and recommended additional services and locations that could assist me with the issues that they couldn't fix. I was super satisfied when I left and would definitely return for any other services I may need.

I highly recommend you go here. I thought I had spark plug problems but the problem turned out to be worse. Johnny didn't charge me for looking at my car and said it needed a more detailed diagnostics so I took it to the dealership. The dealership wanted almost $3000 in repairs so I called Johnny for advice again. He recommended a local place at Nolensville Auto Care and they fixed my engine for a third of the dealership price. Thanks to Johnny and his recommendation, I saved almost $2000! Whenever I need a mechanic Johnny at American Auto Care will be my first call!

American auto care came highly recommended to me from a knowledgeable friend when my mom came into town with an electrical issue. they looked it over and couldn't find anything wrong. they gave the car back to me without claiming any unneeded repairs or even charging me.I'll be back. it's hard to find trustworthy auto repair. i will be doing business here in the future for sure. thanks Johnny.

My lexus was overheating and I was procrastinating taking it In a shop because I knew it would cost a lot. My brother recommended this place to me we took it in and was diagnosed real fast. Johnathan Is very honest and knowledgeable he showed us everything that was wrong with the car and what needs to be fixed. I got my car back the next day. Definitely will be a long term customer. This is my second time taking my 09 Honda to Johnny and his crew. I will never take my cars anywhere else! I had a full AC replacement done back in January and although that type of repair is expensive overall, I felt that Johnny gave me a very fair price for the amount of parts and labor! My AC has been blowing fantastic for months since and they were able to get the repair done the same day. I just recently went in for a full brake replacement with rotors and the whole 9 and although this is a rather pricy repair as well, I am confident I got a good price and solid honest work from American Auto. I am so happy with this shop, it s been years since I ve found an trustworthy mechanic much less one on such a great work time line! Thank you again guys, I ll be back!

I only use Johnny and his team. I have an older car and my husband and I are on a fixed income so Johnny is the best and the fairest prices around. I never have to worry that when I leave my car he will handle everything with the utmost professional manner.GREAT JOBGREAT PLACE

I have nothing but great things to say about this place. The staff were very cordial and knowledgeable and took care of my old Dodge Nitro. They gave me an itemized list that broke down all cost and took a day to do a lot of work on my vehicle. I will be going here for future major repairs. Johnny and his team (including his son), are the best mechanics in Nashville and I ve tried many. They re honest, and best of all, they re courteous and kind hearted people. Best in the business. So happy that I decided to come here instead of Walmart. I came in not really knowing what was wrong with my car outside of needing new brakes. So when I tried to describe my issue and he didn t understand he offered to drive the car and see what was going on. He(Johnny) could have taken advantage of the fact that I knew nothing about cars and said that it some expensive problem but instead he told me what was wrong and the order from most important to least so I could get in the road safely within the budget I had set! Will be returning in a couple of weeks for more work to be done! Super pleased!!!! Highly recommended!!!Service: Brakes

Highly recommend getting work done at this shop! The gentlemen working were very polite and knowledgeable. The owner was very kind and very helpful with offering me multiple options to getting my work done. Definitely bring your car here for top quality and honest work!

Professional. Courteous. Knowledgeable. Clean waiting room. Reasonable quotes.Came in for a brake line replacement and they were able to start immediately. Got the job done sooner than i expected. Very satisfied. My new go to spot for auto repair.

As a female, finding a good mechanic can be a long and painful process. I ve used them for different services and have always had an amazing experience. They shoot me straight and go a fantastic job. Since I have moved to Nashville in 2013, every car I have owned has gone to Johnny and his crew. They have given me rides to/from work, have been very competitively priced, and are some of the best guys this side of Nashville can offer for car maintenance. I am buying a new-to-me car soon and look forward to seeing them again, even if it costs me.

Once again, great service from Johnny and his crew! Twice now he has helped in an emergency and has gotten my car right in to be worked on. Friendly, reliable and affordable. There aren't many mechanics these days that you can say you trust your vehicle with, and trust to get an honest and fair quote for work to be done. I highly recommend Johnny and his crew at American Autocare.

Great and reliable place. I'm not from Nashville, but I took a chance based on the reviews online to get my car serviced by American Auto Care, and was extremely pleased with their honesty and willingness to accomadate my needs. I called 10 minutes prior to their closing time and they still sent a tow truck that night to pick up my car. Johnny and the rest of his staff are the most honest mechanics I have ever incountered. They do not try to take advantage of you (not even females) and work to provide you with the best service possible. 100% recommend Johnny at American Auto Care for your automobile needs.

I have taken all of my vehicles here for ten years! They have done oil changes, tire repairs, belts, hoses, differential changes, and much more. Never had a job that they couldn't fix! The owner Johnny is nice as can be along with his two techs! I recommend all my friends and family to get their car care needs there!

Jonny is the best! I wouldn't trust my Camry to any one else. Great service. Clean waiting room. Family friendly. Kind and genuine staff. Female friendly! The rates are practical and they work to offer you the best price, will even calls around. Not many kind community mechanics left, but here you have one.

American Auto Care repaired my axle leak in an hour and was literally half as expensive as a national chain that previously quoted me for the work. They're the nicest guys around and they do great, honest work.
