Tried to make a simple one-item return today unopened transmission oil. (Dealership used their own preferred brand)I did not bring in a receipt because all they offer here is a 1.5 x 2 paper receipt. Who can keep up with that? When I request a return and a full refund at the front counter, the guy is very short with me and asks for the receipt. I said I don t have it with me but please just credit back to the same credit card that I used.Note: this is standard process for 98% of retail stores and e-commerce today.The associate says that I MUST have a receipt really? Can t just credit back to my same card, per usual?In the year 2024, and no paper receipt, no credit. Wow.Master class on customer experience aka what determines consumer loyalty in America today stay relevant with the times. Consumers are short on time. They like to buy quick and easy. If you make the process, any step of it for that matter, you will easily lose the customers. It simply comes to down to how you are treated and the satisfaction of the purchases. Too many other stores/channels for me to purchase from to ever return here after being treated poorly and feeling as though the process wasn t tailored to me.

They are always so helpful! It feels like I m going to my dad s house for help. They always help me pick out the best, safest option. That won t break the bank! Will never go anywhere else!

I always try to stick to positive reviews. This time I m going to mix it up. We arrived at this store yesterday at about 9:30 a.m. My mother desperately needed a battery.The person who checked the battery did so quickly and efficiently. She had the old battery removed, new battery sold and installed in less than 15 minutes.She seemed annoyed that she had to help us, although she was leaning on the counter doing nothing when we got there. She had no identifying clothing on indicating that she worked for Advance. Maybe she didn t work there and was annoyed that the guy working left her there to help us. I can get past all of that. It was early on Sunday.What DID bother me was her condescension towards my 80-year-old mother who asked her a perfectly legitimate question. Towards me is one thing. Towards my mother or any other elderly person is quite another.

I needed to have my battery replaced and these guys were absolute rock stars. It took way longer than it should have because of the negative terminal being corroded but they got it changed and got the terminal cleaned up for me. Will definitely come back the next time I need parts. Great work!

Went to this store because my car died in the Publix parking lot. I went in and Cody immediately assisted me in testing my battery, finding a new one that was compatible with my vehicle, and installing the new one. It took 20 minutes tops! Thank you Cody!

They were able to get what I needed (same day). They also checked on me when my car wouldn't start for almost 3 hours. And it's very convenient to Kingston Springs, Tn.

Absolutely top level service from Cody at the Temple Road Advance. He not only installed our battery in pouring rain with no complaints, he went beyond: storing electronic settings before beginning, thoroughly cleaning battery connections, and applying protective coating to the finished job. I was blown away by his cheerful, professional care. Thank goodness for people like Cody who care about quality and personal service.

The store itself is very organized and clean. The front counter female associate was friendly and helpful. However the two guys in the back were not. He had an attitude when me and female associate ask to help remove the cap from the motor to add oil. There's plenty of parking.

In my experience with all the different part stores ; this is the most productive, professional and most knowledgeable staff of the 3 main Auto parts retailers. Their parts have the better warranties and they have more O.E. (Original Equipment)- meaning made to your car or trucks manufacturer's specification . The staff is generally more knowledgeable and they have commercial parts and personal to help get other businesses who own outside shops to get them taken care of as well. More variety , more knowledgeable staff , better quality. You decide but I've worked on all of my own vehicles and my family's vehicles for years and they are the ones who wind up always getting the information or parts I need after the other Parts stores fail me. That's my educated opinion ! Hope it helps you !

This is one of the best auto parts stores to go to in Bellevue. The reason is because everyone that works there knows about the products they sell and will not sell you anything that you do not need or that would harm you car. Everyone there is passionate about cars. David Lampley must have been drinking when he posted that review with 1 star and no experience that he had.

This staff went over and above to help us recharge our air conditioner. From the girl who helped me with the product we needed, to the young man that helped me with the hood, to the man who guided me through the process, they were fantastic. Thanks to all of them.

Just want to share a story real quick. This particular store closes at 9 pm. Tonight, my battery went out in my car. COMPLETELY DEAD. I was able to get it jump started and eventually made it to Advance Auto Parts in Bellevue at 8:58 pm. I chose the store because they were open until 9 pm. Upon arriving I thought to myself "there's no way they're going change this battery for me. It's almost closing time." Little did I know I walked in and the two gentlemen asked what they could do for me. I told them I needed a new battery and really needed it changed tonight if possible.Without hesitation both popped up and began to make this happen. I appreciate good employees when I see them as I strive everyday to satisfy customers at my job. You had two good young men working there tonight and I thought you ought to know.

This is a GREAT store. Just moved here, and needed various parts and tools. They have had virtually everything I need at reasonable prices. The staff has always been courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. Logan went above and beyond when I called yesterday (holiday) looking for a sub $1 nut for a bolt that he said they didn't sell, but he thought he might have an extra one laying around. He took the time to find it, and had it for me when I showed up 10 minutes later. This Advance Auto Parts store will be my first choice from now on. Keep up the great work...Thank you!

Sadly this store has become a mess. It was much better when it first opened, but now they don't have enough employees. Went in one morning to get a new battery installed and was told there was only one employee working at that time. Therefore they could not help me install it. Also seems like I have to wait a very long time before someone comes to offer any assistance.

This is my go-to auto parts store in the area. They've gone out of their way to be helpful more times than I can count - this last visit Logan cancelled the transaction after he realized we didn't enter my Speed Perk number and restarted it. Things like that are very appreciated, kudos.

Have done business here 3-4 times since we moved to Bellevue last year... store is always well kept, and the employees always friendly and informative... nothing to not like IMO.

I was very very pleased with my service man Franklin.He not only was very, very Polite. He was very knowledgeable about all my Purchases. And even installed the items i purchased. As Long as Franklin is there, I will definitely use Advance Auto for All of my needs.I Used to trade at AutoZone on Hwy 70S in Bellevue, now I will use Advance Auto on Temple Road in Bellevue.Too many people will write a Complaint, and rarely acknowledge when they had a Awesome Experience.I have worked in the Customer Service and Dealt with the Public, am I know first hand how the Public can be. I hope that Franklin is acknowledged for both his Expertise, and Outstanding Demeanor.Thank you,Tamara Howington

Quick, friendly service. Brought in my old car battery to be tested, even though I was pretty sure it was totally dead. And the guy who helped me was super friendly & fast &he even actually gave me a little print-out from the battery-test-machine showing the voltage & cranking amps (or in this case, the lack thereof)!! I've had a lot of batteries tested & replaced in my life, &I've never gotten a printout from the testing machine, nor has any employee ever even shown me the results on the testing screen itself. But in the past, I've also usually gone to Autozone or O'Reilly's for my batteries. It'd been a while since I'd gone to an Advance Auto Parts store; this time around I went there bc my friend, who was helping me w/my battery issue &giving me a ride to the store, suggested that we go there instead of Autozone bc she felt like their employees were more knowledgeable overall than those at the nearby Autozone & thought they also had slightly better prices. I'll tell you, I'm glad we did go there! I was very happy & impressed w/the level of service I received & I will def be going back in the future!

Logan was a great help today! He was very professional and understanding. I brought my car in not knowing if my alternator, starter or battery was bad. He new exactly what is was and replaced the battery with no problem. Thanks!

These guys / galls are a used car owner's life saver. They will go out of their way to help you. Great customer service and will not sell you something if you don't need it. They have saved the day for me many times at this location and while I was out of town at other locations.Sept 2018 Update:Cody at this location is THE MAN. Got in my car headed to church and NOTHING, ZIP, crickets. Battery was Deader than a hammer. I saw this coming due to a bad report on my battery during my last oil change. SO, I had to take another car to church and prayed I could find a place to get a new battery after the service before having to go to work on Monday. My first call was to my good ole AAP store on Temple Road. They had the battery I needed. I looked online and found a $50 off coupon and ordered the battery for pickup. Cody was waiting on me with my order and I watched as he installed my and another customer's battery in what seamed like 20 minutes tops. Extremely nice guy and they are always so well trained and knowledgeable. Got the top of the line battery due to my good coupons deal and I am driving with no worries again thanks to AAP on Temple Road. These guys are gold.

My name is Randall and I just want to take the time to let the personnel at advance Auto parts no that I appreciate them. I was stuck on the side of the road in Franklin Tennessee the store is located in Bellevue Josh took the time to stop what he was doing and run the part to me which was a injector for my diesel truck that I installed on the side of the road they have always went above and beyond to do what it takes to take care of the customers. I just want to let them know that I am very thankful for what they do and the professional attitude that they have thank you to everyone at advance Auto parts in Bellevue Tennessee no one can measure up to the standard that you have set

This is the most convenient auto parts store to me so I spend some time here. The staff here is the perfect blend of helpful if you need it but if you want to just browse they will leave you alone. They run pretty consistent specials on oil and filters so I always leave here and feel like I got a deal.

Manager Chris and employee Logan could not have been more helpful when my wife and i came in the other night. Wife's car had a bad battery with really bad corrosion causing issues in removing the battery. Both Chris and Logan were extremely patient with us and did the job correctly (getting the battery out without causing damage and even replacing a cable end that was ruined from the corrosion). These guys could have rushed through and sent us on our way, instead they took their time, did the job right and couldn't have been nicer along the way. Will definitely be coming here for any future needs.

I want to say Thank you to Logan one of the store managers. Our truck had a hose to bust while at old hickory and hwy 70. We were headed to Dickson as we are running out of time with my brother. Logan was kind enough to bring us the parts we needed ($15.00). I will forever be grateful to him. He did this on his lunch break instead of going to eat.

Haven't had the best of luck with Advance in the past (one person working the counter with a line out the door, bad/wrong parts, etc.), but this time they came through. Needed a sway bar link in a bad way, they had one at another store and had it sent over. No one else in Nashville had this thing in stock - Advance was the last place I called. Now my truck is put back together and not stuck on jackstands for 2-3 days waiting on a part.

I love Advance Auto Parts. The staff is so helpful and can walk you through whatever question you might have. It seems there's never anything I need that they don't have or can't get for me. A surprising number of things in stock

I went in thinking I could get some insight on why my car won't start if it isn't the battery. I wanted to see if it may be something other than the starter. They made me feel completely incompetent for being a girl trying to talk about cars. Do I know everything? Of course not.. but the response I got after asking if they could test the engine was "well if it won't start it won't start" (chuckling). Awful!

I was side swiped and my side mirror was beyond use or repair. I stopped in to get a temporary replacement and they didn t have my size because my car is brand spanking new. However, Tonya showed me this cut your own mirror thing, traced my existing mirror, attached it, then helped me put the mirror piece back into its little cubby on my car. I ve been in a horrible mood because my brand new car got damaged but Tonya s friendliness and stellar customer service made my day!

Advanced is in Bellevue, usually very helpful, today they just didn't have my part on the Shelf, they said it would be tomorrow before I could get the part, however they did kindly direct me to a different parts store down the road and told me they would probably have what I needed.
