Michael has done work on both my cars and my wife's car over the years. He works with precision, fairness and honesty. You will not find a better guy around, or mechanic. I cannot recommend Michael and his team highly enough. i really thought michael was helping me out because he came off so transparent and trustworthy. i had to drive from tenessee to oregon and needed a new fuel pump. once we made it to nebraska and broke down, i finally took it to the dealership and they discovered he had installed a fuel pump that didn t actually fit my car and rigged it with zip ties. yes, actual zip ties. the real mechanics at subaru said they had never seen something like it in their lives. there were also loose wires in the area of the fuel pump. combined with the plastic zip ties, if it had heated up too much my car would have exploded and i would have died. pretty insanely irresponsible. please be careful who you take your car too! your safety is more important than saving some money.

I recommend Ace automotive to anyone needing car repairs, I took my car in and they fixed it same day, and there was no price gouging just because I'm a female!!!! Very reasonable priced and extremely knowledgeable!! If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would!

Highly recommend. Had engine problems and the staff was SUPER helpful, quick, and affordable. Especially Eli. They made sure I knew exactly what was being done to my car and there were no hidden fees or attempts to up-charge me. My son goes to school at UT and his pickup truck would not start. We had the truck towed to Ace due to their excellent reviews. Ace fixed the car very quickly and stayed well after hours to get the truck back to my son very quickly. I cannot recommend this auto repair business enough. Great service and extremely fair pricing! Mike was knowledgeable and professional. He worked me into his schedule for radiator replacement in just one day. He worked with me very step of the the way. What I paid was really reasonable. Highly recommend this honest and reliable repair shop.

I had a very pleasant experience. . Definitely not expecting service the same day, however, my car was fixed that day... Mike is very thorough, and knowledgeable. . I was referred by Gabby's alternator next door a year ago..I brought my husband's car in at that time, same service. . I have and will continue to spread the word.. Thanks to all at ACE.. Searching online for a trusted mechanic local to Knoxville as have a child there and I am too many miles away. Found Ace Auto with positive reviews and have too totally agree. Mechanic was honest and upfront on the phone, did a great job albeit not a complicated fix, and at a really good price. I have found the location for my child's time at UTK and would highly recommend others consider.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I had recently been to a jeep dealership for regular maintenance and on top of the immediate things I had to have fixed (at an assanine price I must add) they informed me I also had a crack in my radiator which also came with an assanine price. I decided I needed a second opinion and was recommended to ace. I met with Eli and upon inspection he found that there was no crack in the radiator and was able to fix a break problem the dealership said was fixed but wasn't!! He was wonderful and took time with me and went above and beyond when inspecting my jeep!! They also have unbeatable prices!! I will be taking my jeep to them for any regular maintenance or jobs in the future!!

I would recommend ACE to everyone I know! It is so hard to find a shop that is not only reliable but also gains your trust... ACE is the place! They fixed a leak in my tire free of charge and also made time for an oil change without an appointment. Great team! After going here for a few months for things I needed fixed on multiple vehicles, I was nervous about going to a new mechanic after moving cities. The owner and staff are fantastic and knowledgeable guys who are up front and make getting my vehicles fixed an easy process.

If you are a UT student needing repairs or maintenance, this is definitely the best mechanic in town. They are professional, efficient, and friendly. I was able to call and get my car in the same day, the mechanics were very experienced and it was clear they are a strong part of the community . As an added bonus the waiting room is air conditioned, decorated, and very clean. I seriously can't recommend this place enough.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took my car in after getting an outrageous quote from another repair shop. I told Michael what I needed and he did it. He did not try to oversell or get more money out of me for repairs that were not necessary. Over the next couple of weeks I took my in for additional issues that I did not have time or money to fix originally. Every time he had my repair done the next day or shortly thereafter. He is a great guy that builds relationships with his clients and acts with professionalism and integrity. I will no longer be taking my vehicles to any other mechanic.Services: Electrical, Oil change

Michael is so kind and helpful. I had a vehicle service emergency about half an hour before closing time and he fit me in with no appointment and serviced my vehicle super fast. The man saved my day and my engine.

I took my wife s car in for an oil change and to see the check engine light, Mike and his gang had it fixed in no time. There was a lingering problem so when I brought it up, Mike handled it personally... after the shop had closed... the night before thanksgiving. He even threw in gift cards as a way of apology!I can t recommend this place enough. Michael is a great mechanic! He has done several jobs for me when I ve been in a bind and always does great work. He is super friendly and knows his stuff. I plan to continue bringing all of my vehicles to him and have told all of my friends and family about his services.

Wowwowowowowow. The kindness of the owner Michael blew me away. As a female who knows little to not a damn thing about cars, Michael could have easily charged me anything he wanted for an emergency repair I needed as I was traveling through Knoxville, several hours away from home. My brakes were making a terrible noise and I had to stop, and I happened to find this shop. He was so kind and thoughtful, made the quick fix to my brakes for free and sent me on my way WITH A COOKIE. Do yourself a favor and make this guy your go-to mechanic in Knoxville. They really are built on quality and integrity.

Outstanding Service from Ace and Michael. I found myself in a bit of a bind when my alternator died as I was leaving Knoxville to head back home to Chattanooga (in town for son s orientation for UTK) at 2:00 pm on a Friday afternoon. After a bit of googling for a mechanic, ACE was actually referred to me from another mechanic who could not handle the job immediately. Michael went above and beyond to take my car on such short notice, order the part, have it delivered and install the new alternator as soon as they possibly could, all so I could actually get home to Chattanooga without having to rent a car and drive back on Monday to pick it up.On top of that, he gave me his standard Student Discount because my son would be attending UT next year. I asked Michael to just charge me full price, which I thought was absolutely fair due to him helping me out on such short notice and working me in when he had other jobs, but he refused. Not too sure other shops would have done the same upon realizing my desperate situation.Well done ACE! I would encourage any parent that has a student in Knoxville to keep their number handy, along with Knoxville residents to check them out.Thanks again Michael.

Super fast service! Also, this is the first time I ve ever gone to an auto shop and not had 1000 other services pushed on me that I knew I didn t need. Fairly priced and I definitely plan on going back.

I've Been Here Roughly About 3-4 Times In The Past 2 Years And Everytime Michael And His Team Have Been Able To Help Me Out With My Chevy,And One Time They Quite Weren't Able To Help They Still Recommended Another Place To Go To,Sometimes Takes Them A Bit More Than I Expect But Atleast I Know It's A Quality Fix Everytime They Do It,Proud Of This Mecahnic Shop,Can't Thank Em Enough
