I recently had the pleasure of taking my truck to Tuffy Tire and Auto Service Center after experiencing issues with the steering components. I must say, they did an exceptional job getting my truck back to brand new. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient throughout the entire process. From diagnosis to repair, they kept me informed every step of the way. Their attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship truly impressed me. Called to get an appointment for an oil change and filter. Tony said come in after lunchtime, we will get you in. Took my car in that afternoon and Anthony took care of me. These guys are very professional and courteous. From the phone call to the service being completed, a great experience. I highly recommend them!Dave

The BEST oil change experience I've ever had! Great prices, great service, and they are incredibly transparent. They communicate really well and they do an excellent job! I knew I had an oil leak and I took my car to the dealership-they said they couldnt find it. I knew I was leaking out though- the guys at Tuffy found the leak and fixed just in time for my Florida road trip! Highly recommend!!

Terrible experience! Won't trust them with anything! Brought in my car for 2 concerns: they checked one recommended service asked about second (which I told them was my main concern)- they hadn't checked it yet; called me back said they took fuse out and put back in now works- I was happy approved other maintenance. Called before they closed to find out if my car was ready- was told it hadn't been worked on yet and it would be first car in the next morning. Said OK. Called next day at lunch and they hadn't even looked at my car bc person I was working with had an emergency, so they didn't touch my car. Said I have to have my car back. They"did" the work called me to pick up and when I went up to get my car the main reason I took it in that they told me was fixed; didn't work again and I would need to leave it with them for several days to maybe fix it. I was called and told when car was ready-- should have been told then, nothing was in the notes if I hadn't asked they wouldn't have told me until I got into my car! Acted like this was acceptable and no big deal to be lied to and them not working on my car like said they would. Oh and I left my car with quarter of a tank of gas and got it back with gas light on!! When we get gone and look at engine is covered in some nasty liquid-- truly praying they didn't mess up my car! Don't risk your valuable car that transports your precious family to them! I'm so scared! Was recommended them by Carmax from their warranty-- don't do it!

Will I go back...HECK YEAH!! Great service and reasonable prices!I had an issue w my car and took it to a different service center and was told they could not help me and take my car to the dealer...I went myself to the Gallatin's Tuffy Center, instead of the dealer. I was immediately impressed w Tony and Anthony.This was on a Friday, they asked if I could posssibly bring my car back on Monday...and by Monday afternoon, I was driving my car home, problem resolved!So, thank you guys for your expertise, professional and friendly service...I highly (did I mention HIGHLY) recommend :Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center, Gallatin,TN"Family Run and they get it DONE"

I've been dealing with the guys back and forth for a weeks, and must say, these doods are AWESOME! Super professional, patient and extremely tolerable of my very unique issues with my Ford Flex. Let's keep in mind, they're not quite done yet. My vehicle is still being serviced and I have no idea when it will be done, but Tony said, " It's fixable!" Today, they above and beyond to help me get into a rental car because I have to be at work tomorrow! I wasn't expecting that, thank you guys.

I requested an appointment online on a Thursday night after close for a Saturday for brakes and was quickly approved first thing Friday morning. They welcomed me early Saturday, talked me through the process of them inspecting the car, sending me the estimate after inspection, and doing the work. The price was great and the work was done that day and we are super pleased. I will be a customer from now on with both vehicles.Service: Brakes

If your looking for an auto mechanic that is trustworthy look no further.I needed some place to take my truck to get fixed and decide to Google "reliable mechanics in Gallatin" this place was one of 5 or 6 that came up,I read reviews on all of them and Tuffy had the most recent positive reviews. I decide to make an appointment on line and I'm sure glad I did.You can not go wrong these people A+ all the way.

Probably my favorite mechanics in Gallatin. They have done work to both of my vehicles: replaced the radiator in one car, found a leak in my evap system and fixed it in my van and fixed part of my exhaust in my van as well. I've also used them for routine maintenance like oil changes.They are honest and up front about any issues. If there is something they feel you could have fixed elsewhere for cheaper they will tell you and give you recommendations on where to go. But Tuffy's in Gallatin will always be my first go to for any mechanical issues with any of my vehicles.

I went there today convinced I needed a new battery. The salesman insisted they test my old one first although I told them the battery was old. They tested my battery, told me it was fine and even aired up my tires. All for free. I will definitely be back.

Called and got my car in to get looked at all within 24 hours. Was able to get my car fixed within a reasonable time and at a fair price. Was going to have to uber home after dropping my car off and they offered to drive me home. Overall, will be coming to this Tuffys again!

If you are looking for a place to do your regular maintenance, or you might have a bigger issue go see Tuffy s! You will be treated like family, with respect, transparency, and honesty. I took my car to Tuffy as I needed my 100,000 mile services completed. I first took it to the dealership and got a quote. Tuffy s cut my price in half! The owner Tony is a very trustworthy and honest man. All of my vehicles will be going to Tuffy s for all Services needed. Also, thank you Anthony for keeping me updated on my vehicle during repairs! Businesses like this one stay in business a long time and become a staple to the community!

This place has absolutely the best customer service I have ever seen. A close friend of mine is suffering through lung cancer. Chemo and radiation treatments are crucial. His transmission suddenly started giving him trouble on his car that was covered under warranty. And the warranty rep from Carmax came and refused to cover the work although Tuffy's mechanics confirmed the issue. The bill was over 400 and he did not have that much money. And because of God's grace and the hearts of the Tuffy's management they gracefully lowered the cost of there work they performed to help my brother in need of God's grace at a very hard time in his life. Thank you Tuffy's for allowing God to work through you to give a man hope in the face of adversity.

Was only in town for the day and my car wouldn't start. The owner took the time to look at it himself and talk me through what the problem's may be. My wife and I recently bought a house and thankfully we found a great nearby mechanic shop. My wife s vehicle needed the engine replaced, but they made the process so easy and stress free for us. They communicated directly with the warranty company and kept us updated through the whole process. They did so well that I took my vehicle to have my front suspension looked at and, unfortunately, the warranty wouldn t cover what needed fixed. We were quoted with a great price and the work was completed in the same day within 8 hours. The guys at this shop are trustworthy, efficient, and highly knowledgeable. I ve been here for an oil change, tire patch, and ultimately new tires to replace my old ones. The staff and owners deliver excellent customer service, are honest, and incredibly friendly. They were very transparent with the future service needs of my vehicle and made me feel no pressure to have the work done immediately. They gave an honest wear/tear time frame of when I could come back for further servicing, which I appreciated, as they were sensitive to the need to financially assess and plan for future servicing. Very grateful to have found these guys for our vehicle servicing needs!

I discovered this place from Google in search of a car service center. I was impressed with my first phone call to Dan to discuss my car issues. He was very professional and courteous. Between Dan, Tony (manager) and the rest of the staff, I highly recommend this place. I now have a go-to place for car repairs!
