I definitely would not recommend Fritz auto if you have a classic car. I brought in my 1989 Mercedes because it was stalling and not running properly. They literally threw parts at my car hoping it would fix it. When I took my car in, it had a fresh paintjob, and when I got it back after 4 months, it looked like It came back from a junkyard. Spider webs, cobwebs, and eggs were everywhere in the engine bayMost of the parts they threw at it were nothing I asked to fix and would ve done on my own.When I finally got it back I was able to start it on my own I called the shop and they were surprised I got it started. They offered me 500$ for their mistakes. Been waiting weeks to get paid but still stalling.This place is a joke. I would never recommend this place.Ps this is not a fake review I have the receipt from being there and pictures of it sitting in their lot. Also I m 18, and I m still being treated like a child. We have had no choice but to report Fritz Auto Repair to the BBB where we have not gotten a response. My grandmother and I have been bringing her cars to Fritz Auto repair for many years, and we have never had an issue with repairs. My grandmother purchased a 2014 Nissan Juke on February 11th 2023. The car was brought in a week later to repair an oil leak, which cost $418. The following day, we noticed the car was still leaking oil, so we returned the car to Mr Fritz for the second time. My grandmother had a fall on March 3rd, which lead to a broken hip. She received a call while in rehab that the car had a broken timing chain, and that it was about to be completed. She paid him $1500 because he stated that it would be ready that day. We have been given many different excuses since then as to why the car has not been completed, such as: bad mechanics, waiting for parts, personal illness/injuries. They are not reliable in communication and are hard to get ahold of. I show up occasionally to check on the car in person. From February of 2023 to currently January 7th 2024, our car has sat in their possession. We do not know when or if the car will be repaired as we have been told repeatedly that it will only be a few more days . We need to be refunded the cost of the damages to the vehicle or we need the car returned repaired immediately. At this point after OVER A YEAR we haven t heard from this business and are looking into getting a lawyer. I strongly recommend not bringing your car here. I paid close to $3000 upfront to get a car fixed on December 1st of 2023, It is now April 10th, 2024, and my car is still in the same exact condition as it was when I brought it in to Fritz. I have been given the run around and lied to for months on end! I wish I never indulged in the worst business I have ever seen or been a part of. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!!!!!

This man has been in the area for years and years, and a wonderful reputation in the gallatin area, family owned, right down to their mechanic. Wonderful people is the only place i take my car to get it worked on. Fair pricing, honest and did great work. If your bill is really high they will let you make payments. It's hard to find a good mechanic. These days. Not too many life Jim left around.

This place is unprofessional and does bad work.Bought my first car from your lot. Broke down 2 weeks later. Brought it back to your shop and you refused to help fix it or take responsibility for selling me a lemon.

Had my vehicle towed there and they fixed it next day. I needed a new radiator. Very fair, very honest and their work is top notch. They won't suggest work that you don't need.

Great local mechanic, been in town for years. They get you in fast and do a great job repairing your vehicle to get you back on the road. If your needing your vehicle repaired give them a call. Jim Fritz is an honest guy and takes good care of his customers aswell as his daughter Jessica.

Love this family owned business! They're very professional, ans very kind. They did quality work for a very reasonable price and we're timely with the repairs! I will definitely be back and I will be telling all my friends!

Fair prices and decent service. I visited a few weeks ago to repair my air conditioning, get a full diagnostic check, and freeon added. They're a small local shop that has been in service for years in Gallatin. The shop isn't visible from the street so be prepared to turn in the gravel driveway just after the Mapco next door. They kept my car 2 days and text when finished which worked best for me due to my wfh status. I'll keep them in mind in the future as an option for sure.

Paid $85 to get a/c fixed. Still blows hot. They tried but it needs a new dryer. Thanks for diagnosing the problem so I know what to do to get it fixed. James and everyone there is great people and honest. The 3 stars isn't towards them it's because the car is still messed up. They done what I could afford at the time.

I've been doing business with Mr. Fritz, Jeremy and Jessica for 20 years. I've never had a bad experience. His shop has a friendly and personable feel and he won't price gouge you.

I wouldn't take my kids power wheels to this place this place is a joke. I will never take a vehicle back here again charge you for things the never done to your vehicle and keep it for ever
