I have been coming to this location for about a year and have been really pleased. Service is always thorough, and they they don't try to upsell you on things that are not needed. Wait times very, but they typically inform you as soon as you arrive to set expectations. Definitely recommend.

Anthony and the crew took real good care of us, we, were traveling, and Check Engine came on and was in desperate need of a oil change got us in and out and back on the road.

We watched a worker unintentionally damage our car. The manager who never introduced himself and never looked at the damage denied that they could have done it. Manager has no idea how to handle situations like that and needs training. Never apologized. We told him we would handle this different and he said all complaints/issues come back to the store manager and that him so good luck I ve been here with three different vehicles and will never return. I called corporate, filed a claim and they never returned a call. Don t go to this place.

Sat in line for over 45 mins for them to eventually come up to me and tell me they didn t have my oil in stock. Said I can go to an auto parts store to get some and come back but not today since they had just closed(it was 6:02) even though I was in line for 45 mins waiting already.

Dec of 2021 I took my car here for a routine oil change. Not knowing what was going on under my car, the oil change ended and I left, fast forward to March 2022 for my routine 3 month oil change. I went back, when I went back the people under my car at a different Valvoline said they couldn t get my oil pan plug out it had been stripped by the first Valvoline shop. I was like what? They never said anything to me. They got the plug out eventually but that oil pan was now damaged. I filed a report with Valvoline who didn t want to fix the issue at all at first, I took my car to a BMW mechanic who only works on foreign vehicles. He told me I d need a new oil pan because this was going to cause issues. I spoke to the manager who was useless and all they would do is re thread the oilPan. It is now over a year old since this all came to light and Valvoline WILL NOT fix the issue. Please be very very very careful using them. If They mess up they fight you and don t want to pay to fix Things. The area manager whoever that is won t return calls because he has no Balls. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and I m now having to shell out over $2500 for a new oil Pan that they 100% damaged. Honestly don t use Valvoline. Please. My oil pan is now leaking after oil changes and it has only gotten worse.

They stripped my oil pan during my last oil change. I filed a claim and asked them to pay for the cost to replace or repair the stripped oil pan. This is a $700-$800 dollar fix. They were not willing to take ownership of an expensive mistake. I was told by their customer service that their regional manager would contact me since the store manager wouldn t take ownership of the mistake and I never received a response. Very poor service.

One of the staff advised me to get my own replacement oil and air filter which are recommended for my high performance car. I went to downtown Franklin, came back with my supplies and Valvoline charged me $29 for oil change labor because I had a $10 off coupon.

THIS LOCATION EMPLOYED WITH SLOW INEXPERIENCED KIDS. GOT OIL AND FLUIDS ALL OVER INTERIOR OF MOTOR AND ON HOOD. SERVICE WAS EXTREMELY SLOW BEING I WAS FIRST DOOR. ONE PRICE IS A SCAM. MANAGER WAS VERY ARGUMENTATIVE ABOUT PRICING. VERY RUDE. VERY LOW QUALITY LOCATION.

Thanks for doing my first oil change on the new car, we got to chat a little bit on my car, but guys if you wanted to steal something, shouldn't do it like that, i know just some steam caps, but they were metal and was replaced with a bunch of plastics with different colors. That was my first and last time doing a oil change there, good luck and please be professional. That's why my 1* review, to the owner make sure to talk to your employees. Do not ask about VIN number or any type of info. Thanks.Service: Oil change

Everyone was nice however, the employees were very unprofessional. Each of them messing with each other while working on my vehicle. Shouting at each other like they didn t know what they were doing which made me very uneasy. They checked my tire pressure before I drove in and ended up letting out air to where I had to stop at a gas station and air my tires up. Every single one low to 30psi when they need to be at 40 causing me to spend more money. Everyone again was very friendly but their banter back and forth is very unprofessionalService: Oil change

There were 2 cars in front of me and it took about an hour for a simple oil change. Workers and what it seemed to be owner/manager were simply talking with customers which wasn t business related at all. When I showed up finally to get it changed they said oh yeah sorry that s one of our good friends.Before I got my oil changed the manager asked if one of the workers there could get his car worked on before mine. While I got my oil change the manager was distracting the efficient workers with meaningless information not work related at all.The guys were nice and a couple of the workers were very efficient and professional but the manager who talked consistently set a poor example and didn t mind the line of people waiting. This lack of caring for the customers will lead me to never return to this place.Service: Oil change

My Experience at the garage was fine waiting on the oil change But they didn t fasten my skid plate back on! I discovered it wasn t reinstalled correctly at 65 mph on the highway and it was damaged beyond repair. Lazy or incompetent, either way I m not going back.Edit Feb 17: corporate customer service got the details then asked how to resolve the issue. I asked what were they willing to offer. They responded that each individual shop is responsible for compensation. I asked for a full refund but it s been crickets ever since. Zero resolution, zero response, and very poor customer service.

I had the best experience at this location about two weeks ago. The guys welcomed me and never once made me feel like they were going to upsell me or take advantage. I never write reviews but this is the WORST experience I ve ever had getting any service done on my car. I went in for an oil change (might I add their prices are stupid expensive for full synthetic oil at $120 when the dodge dealer down the street does it for $60) everything was fine till my low oil pressure light turns on later in the day as I m driving. This then makes my check engine light turn on and I proceed to check my oil. the stick came out completely dry and turns out I had leaked all my oil and had to get my car towed to the Dodge dealer. I had to pay $300 for a diagnostic test and an oil change AGAIN and missed multiple days of work for this. (Luckily I have Insurance so I didn t pay for towing but if I had it would ve been even more money) Turns out the kid that worked on my car didn t put the O ring back on correctly (plastic ring that goes on your oil filter) . This almost costed me my entire car because I had been driving with no oil and never even knew it. I m not sure why a place called Valvoline instant OIL CHANGE would hire incompetent employees and I will never ever trust this place with my car ever again. They also spilled oil all over my engine bay causing my car to smoke. Do NOT go here(or pretty much any valvoline) They almost didn t refund me my money because I had taken it to dodge before them but let s be realistic , if you can t even do a simple oil change WHY would I ever trust you to check for engine damage? Showed up around 5:30 pm, got right in. This wasn t the worst oil change experience I ve had, but was far from the best, especially for $130.First, the tech getting my information didn t do any actual checks. I did, however watch him check off several items on the computer screen. The only things he asked me about were if I wanted new windshield wipers, and if I was ok with using synthetic oil. Things went fairly smooth overall, but no one ever checked the tires, fluid levels, lights, etc. No one offered to reset the change oil light., which I guess isn t a big deal, but is just good service. When I got back home I noticed oily fingerprints on my hood. Not sure why they couldn t have covered this area with a towel or even wiped it clean after completing the oil change. Not sure I ll be going back.Service: Oil change

I went to valvoline, and from start to finish, everyone was super polite! I didn t even get a chance to say I needed new wiper blades before the guy said your blades are in bad shape, we need to replace those. I was checked on by about 4 different people, who each asked if I had been helped, asked if I needed anything, and asked how I was doing. Was the service slightly more expensive?? A bit. But I will never go anywhere else for an oil change!!! Thanks to everyone that works at the HWY 96 location/ y all are the best!!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

The service was quick and they got my oil changed quickly. However the oil filter wasn't put on tight and my car began to leak oil. Luckily this was caught before it ruined my engine. I will not be back! 0/5

I pulled in at 4:44 today and the lights are on with no cars thought I'd be in and out quick but the guy comes out and tells me they are closing early because they have a long drive home? I could see if the weather was bad or someone got injured but management should plan staffing better or change posted hours to close at 4. I had drove 30 minutes so 15 each way to get the oil changed. And don't accept a 5pm close shift if you cant do it or get a job closer to where you live if you are scared to drive a long distance home at 5 pm. But maybe mgmt. is fine with always closing early? I'll be going to the the nearby Jiffy Lube from now on.

They have stripped the oil drainage bolt tread and it s been leaking oil. My brother saw the oil leak. I noticed that the bolt seal was on backwards and A mechanic discovered that the bolt tread was stripped. I fixed it now and it shouldn t leak anymore. I've come to this location for convenience a few times, but I will never come back again. I had an oil change and a few weeks later had a slow leak of clean oil. I came back to have them look at my car. The people that I spoke with and had look at my car seem to not be very knowledgeable about cars or they just don't care, which is scary. They didn't even check my oil level after I waited an HOUR for them to look at my car (although I should have asked before I left). After they looked at my car and said they tightened up my drain plug, my car continued to leak clean oil overnight. I was forced to go somewhere else that's more reliable the following day to have it looked at. Guess what they found and physically showed me at the other place? THE DRAIN PLUG WAS LOOSE! They tightened it at the other place and there have been no problems since. I was shocked about this situation.Service: Oil change

Jiffy lube suggested I come here for a transmission fluid exchange. After doing my research on their website, they claim they do transmission fluid exchanges. When I got here they asked what car I have and then instantly told me they need a special tool to perform that service. I have never heard of any place needing a special tool to perform this service, especially on a Ford since it s a very popular vehicle brand on the road. It almost seemed like they told me this because: 1.) they didn t want to do it. 2.) I m a girl and they think I don t know anything. Very irritating, Big waste of time, and gas..Service: Transmission

This is a convenient and normally quite quick location to get your car serviced. The hours are pretty wide open so I've always been able to get my oil changed without having to rearrange my schedule very much. The staff is friendly and professional and know their business well. The only reason I took a star off is I have been pressured a few times to purchase more than I came in for, even after saying no to it. But that is a very small thing given all of the good things about the place.

A family member had me do them a favor and get their out changed at this fast oil change spot.The place was clean, welcoming, and the staff were nice. The downside is the cost to do the basic oil change. It is convenient but wow.I wouldn't bring my car here to have the oil changed, simply because I don't have that kind of money to burn.Otherwise it gets my a-ok

My fianc� took her car to see if her transmission fluid was low. Instead of checking that for her they asked what was going on. She brought it back home later that night and sure enough it was very low. I m giving one star for not helping someone who doesn t understand cars. Next time just check and help out instead of sending someone on their way.Service: Transmission

We were on a long drive home from spring break and our check engine light came on. Fortunately it was just a hose that came loose but we had to top off some fluids before we could get on the road. We showed up about two minutes before they were closing and they stayed and helped us get everything in order. Super, super nice people who absolutely didn t need to stay late for us. If we lived closer, we d be going here for oil changes for the rest of our life.

Terrible experience we waited 90 minutes in line for a standard oil change only to be upsold for full synthetic oil because our 2021 BMW 330i only takes European oil and the engine will blow and warranty voided with conventional oil . Manager told us to go somewhere else which we did after two hours of waiting and disputing we left without a basic oil change. Unacceptable service and experience. Highly recommend avoiding this location and their outrageous upselling sales tactics to scare uneducated customers into buying more expensive products they don t need.
