The customer service at this location was absolutely wonderful! From the front desk to check out, everyone was amazing, and to top it off, they were really looking out for my wallet. No overcharging for this lady. That deserves a lot of respect as far as I m concerned! Thank you so much!

This is one place I can say is not after your wallet I took my Toyota there to fix a major oil leak and they fixed it and found parts for a reasonable price and even took me in the garage and showed me what was wrong with it and even answered questions on the phone after they worked on it. This will be the only place I will ever go to now for repairs they are honest and helpful

My Sentra was not running good at all and they fixed it and it s running good. They do good work. No complaint there. But, I am missing my medicine that was under my car seat. I should have got it before leaving it but I really thought with it being under my seat I had no worries. It had fallen out of my purse that morning before taking it and I forgot to get it. That s what I went for as soon as I got my keys. Besides that..I was told to drop it off at 2:30 and was told to give them 2 hours. They called me back and said the parts wouldn t be there until morning and they would start on it in the morning. I was fine with that. At that time she told me it was 3 different things my total was 301.96. I said that is fine go ahead and fix it. So, the next day I waited until noon to call. When I called and ask them if it was ready she said that their system was down to call back. I still don t know what that had to do with my car not being ready but I just said okay. Well at 3:30 I still hadn t heard from anyone. I drove by and seen my car sitting at the end of the lot so I called and told them that I had not heard anything about my car and I drove by and it was outside at the end of the lot. Well she put me on hold and come back and said they hadn t started on it but they were pulling it in now. So, all this time no phone call and that was my 2nd call to them. They called me a hour later and said it was ready. I went in to pay it and it was $487 and I told them no one had told me that price. I was told yesterday that my total was $301.96 and I didn t have any more money. That totally broke me. She called a lady and explained it all to her and the other girl beside her chimed in and said yeah, Matt added a coil to it. I said no one told me and I have called 2 times today. So she let me pay the $301.96 but wanted me to bring the $187 back or they could take that coil off. I told her it would take me 3 more paychecks . It s Christmas time and I don t have hundreds to throw around. I m a single mom with 2 kids with no help. I will pay them a little at a time bc I keep to my word but When she quoted me the $301.96 I said what do you need to start working on it? She said just your approval. I said I agreed and to go ahead and fix it. That drained my account and I still have the car payment to make. I just feel like since I was not told anything I should not be held responsible for something I never had any knowledge of prior to the work being done. I thank you all for doing a good job on my car but I am really upset at the lack of communication. I have only been in Dayton for 3years and I wanted to find a good mechanic and I feel they do good work but your communication is unacceptable. As far as my medication I will chalk that up as my fault because I shouldn t have been so trusting but the other I feel really needs to be taken care of. I mean she wanted to take a part off the car and then it not run right and expect me to pay $301 is not acceptable either. It s really important that communication is good because about 95% of Americans live from paycheck to paycheck and that busted my savings and checking.

Great customer service and the techs are great they really do take care of you and I 10/10 recommend taking your vehicle here and the prices you can t get any better for the quality of work

I had a lot of work done on my car about a year ago, and then had an issue when visiting home. Luckily it was still under warranty, but I needed it fixed with a days notice. They fixed my care without hesitation, and unfortunately, they had to stay late to finish it in time for me to leave town. They are awesome! So helpful and willing! Definitely recommend this shop!

Went in for a flush and they had to bypass my hoses which was completely fine. I was told by one mechanic they plugged it off. 2 days later another said he didn't plug it is why it's dripping transmission fluid. I no longer can drive my vehicle because of the leak and because I wasn't told I needed to replace my radiator and my transmission. Soaked over 700$ for nothing.

Jason and Melissa along with all the mechanics are wonderful. They will treat you like family. I have had work done on my diesel truck, Honda, and my classic car. They are fair in their pricing and tell you the truth no matter how bad it hurts. I went in for a repair and got it done within one day and a half. Gave me a quote the first day a I brought it in and told me they'd give me a call back the second day, so second day came never gave me a call so I had to call and check up on it and found out that they added another part without consent nor my ok, thank goodness I called on time and I was able to come up with more money for it. I will say communication needs to be worked on but the work itself (done on car) is good so far. They do great work , get you in and out quick...but pricing I'd say is expensive and need to work on communication with customer. We own a Jeep Wrangler and while traveling through Dayton pulling our trailer, our vehicle did the dreaded Death Wobble. Being sent to this center by another repair shop (hats off to BJ's in Dayton as well) to see Jason at Dayton Auto Repair, our issue was diagnosed quickly and efficiently.Even though getting the part was a challenge, the staff worked through the parts issue to get the correct part and repair our Jeep in a timely fashion even remaining later than normal to make sure we could continue our journey safely.Great people with great work ethic, expertise and fair pricing. If I could give this place 6 stars, I would! They are as good as it gets when it comes to customer service, quality work, and saving you money. I took my truck to them a few months ago and they ended up charging me less for both the parts and service than what they had estimated that the service alone would cost. My truck is running like new ever since! They have very skillful mechanics that will do their best in order to save you money while getting down to what is exactly wrong with your vehicle.

So I had an appointment for about 2 weeks here, it wasn t for too much just a few little things, they have had my car in the shop way longer than I personally say it should have been, they say they will call back and they never do, and then when I call to check up they really haven t done anything. I took it for a test drive during my break at work, they said they would get back to it so I left my window down. Long story short it rained and they didn t get back to my vehicle in a span of like 3 or 4 hours, I m not walking three miles to and from work for them to take their time working on my vehicle, they are professional and it might just be a bad time atm for them to get it done quickly. After 3 years of going to different auto places to try and get my breaks fixed and a mystery Ieak located I finally went to Dayton Auto upon recommendation from family. My breaks were so bad and no where could fix them, I had even been told by one mechanic that my car was just that way. Dayton Auto quickly and easily located the issues that no other mechanic seemed to be able to find. They were very upfront and fair with the pricing and even emailed me a complete break down of all the work and how much it would cost for everything. My car was fixed quickly despite it being a holiday weekend and the mechanic even stayed late to make sure it was done on time! I've had my car back for almost 2 weeks and it honestly drives better now then when we bought it! The breaks are so smooth and I actually feel safe driving again!! I can not recommend Dayton Auto enough! These people truly love cars and it shows. Their customer service was amazing as well. My only complaint is that I'm moving to a new state soon and wont be able to use them any more.

AC in Suburban was not blowing cold. Another shop diagnosed (incorrectly) and quoted 3x the price I was charged at DAR. The service was great, they explained all the issues and fixed the problem quickly. They also suggested future maintenance needs to keep the system working at max performance. I highly recommend DAR and will start here first in the future. Very satisfied customer.Service: A/C installation & repair

Took my Ford Escape for the first time to get new headlights put on. Quick and easy. Friendly service, and it didn't take probably thirty minutes. Will definitely be going back. Can tell the mechanics really know what they're talking about.

New in town, needed an oil change. Checked reviews, they were very friendly, price was decent for and oil change. They checked the pressure in my tires and added air on the ones that needed it. We were in and out and would recommend

Bought a new car Saturday just to find out it needs a new tire and wheel bearing. They checked everything from the front to the back to make sure nothing else was wrong . Great friendly staff. So, I drive from Chattanooga to Dayton just to have Jason work on my baby-a 2001 Tacoma. If that's not enough of a testament to the quality of this guy's work and his genuine and honest customer service I don't know what is. Thought it's not all he works on, he has an outstanding track record as a trusted Toyota/Honda specialist. On top of that, he's just a good person! I will continue to make the drive from Chattanooga to Dayton for Dayton Auto Repair to work on my cars when needed. Keep it up y'all!

They do great work and its family operated. My family loves the quality of service we get here, and if its gonna be a quick fix they have a Lobby or you're close enough to the park and several restaurants within walking distance.

Wouldn t recommend another place! Honest people. Honest work. Overall amazing ! I absolutely wouldn t even think of going anywhere else for my vehicle. Pricing is amazing too! Definitely the place to go for any vehicle problems.

They were short-handed, unmotivated but polite. I had simple tasks for them to do and once my vehicle was taken back to the shop a simple 30 minute job took them 2 hrs +

Took a Honda Pilot in on the recommendation of friends for a transmission service and inquiry into overall state of transmission. Was told a small, cheap part needed to be replaced. Instead of being sold an expensive bill of goods I didn't need, I got out for under $300.Noticeable difference in shifting immediately after the service and part replacement.
