If I could do zero stars... I would. I hit a deer in February with my truck. It took out the driver side headlight, the grill and damage on the bumper. We took it to Classic Collision as that was the preferred collision shop our insurance used. Now, before I continue, the truck was in good running shape. I drove it the whole week from the time I hit the deer, til we could get it to the shop. They had the truck for about 3 to 4 weeks when we got a call letting us know there was an issue with the brakes. Said they would take it to their preferred mechanic shop to have it looked at. (We did not have issues with the brakes when we dropped it off). While they were inspecting things, they notice it was low on oil ( its a 2013 with 202,000 miles) and that the cam phazers were rattling bad and it was running rough. KNOWING IT WAS LOW ON OIL AND NOT RUNNING CORRECTLY, they continued to run it for diagnostics and to move the truck in and out of the shop. A day before 6 weeks of them having my truck, they called and said it was done. My husband and son went to pick up the truck. When he got there, it started pouring rain and really windy so he couldn't really look at it well. When he got it home, the grill was the wrong one (it's an FX4 and has the color matching grill). the bumper was never replaced (just poorly fixed/straightened), the paint job was crap, the alignment of the front where the damage was was not aligned very well and my engine sounded absolutely awful. So, they have our truck again to properly fix it and we are fighting the insurance to fix the engine issues as it was not our doing! We are not happy with Classic Collision at all and will never recommend them.. Oh, they have had the truck another 2 weeks and have not heard anything on it other than the ordered the correct grill and the bumper. They also never offered a rental as we hit the 45 days with the insurance company. STAY AWAY FROM CLASSIC COLLISION.

These people were absolutely amazing and so understanding! And most importantly they were so kind! I just went for an estimate because of a small accident that had happened at food city and they ended up doing more for me and cleaned up the paint and scratches (I didn t even ask them too, they offered) and made it look like nothing happened! I will definitely come back if I ever need too! Thank you for being so sweet

Positives: Friendly staff; the minor collision repair they did on my Honda Civic was very well done.Negatives: Minor repairs (say a week or two of work at the most) took almost six weeks to complete. Week to week I would get texts that failed to explain why the work went on and on. The only clear explanation that they did give me was on the front end, that the insurance company (Encompass) was being difficult; but I had to dig that information out of them. If the issue was in fact Encompass Indemnity, CC would do well to get out of their contract with Encompass as quickly as possible, because they made them look really bad.

I can t thank their team enough: I was struggling for over a year to repair my truck after being hit by a drunk driver in a parking lot. Between the lack of parts, over loaded in work and others lack of customer service ..I found Classic Collison in Dayton, THANK YOU! They took on the challenges with the other driver s insurance company, communicated my trucks progression and can t say enough about the quality of their work. I of course hope to never to give them repeat business, but if I need collision work again Classic Collision is my first call. Thanks to all who had a hand in putting my truck back to like new condition. The Tanner's

After hitting a deer I took my truck to classic collision as they were the preferred shop for my insurance company, my truck went in on February 23rd and 3 weeks later we received a call that the brakes were not working, classic took it to their shop and said there were engine problems that were causing the brakes not to work, classic continued to run my truck moving it around and caused internal engine damage, i received it back on April 4th, it was raining and windy when I picked it up so I didn't check the work like I should have before I left, there was missing bolts, missing parts, wrong parts and a terrible job, now I've heard nothing from them since April 8th that they ordered the correct parts and no offer for a rental while they ran out the time on the insurance rental, now I have truck that is non running and a very very bad repair job, stay away from classic collision Dayton, they are just there for the insurance payment

****Please Read***Things I wish they would have told me that I'm going to share with you.*They can get you an appointment for estimates and repairs pretty quickly, but don't tell you that the parts will take almost 2 months to come in.*If you're going through insurance your rental coverage will most likely run out, because the completion dates are constantly change.*Your car will be sitting for over a month or 2 until all the parts are in*Don't get your hopes up when you get the text updates about your vehicle, because 9/10 it automatically generated by the system*Paulette or Pauletta may or may not sound like she wants to be there when you call sometimes, and I say that because the tone of her voice the few times that ive called its not welcoming at all.I know there is an issue with getting parts from certain vendors in a timely matter is hard, delayes happen, and some parts alone are on back order, but the least you can do is pick up the phone and call the customer. Give the customer some reassurance, make them feel like you care, so theyll trust youll get the job done. A text is fine in all, but it's conflicting and misleading as well when the assigned person to your vehicle sends you one text and the system turns around and send you one right after. I loved Abra and their customer service and I'm hoping I will learn to love Classic collision and their customer service enough to send my customers there.Vehicle drop off 10/12Today's date 12/1Still no car

Absolutely recommend! Our car is in the shop a little later than expected, but it s due to the first bumper came in not to their expectations and got a replacement! The reassurance of that alone is amazing! I just know my car is going to be beautiful again. I m glad I came here.

Was not kept up to date on repair progress, was not happy with the repair and have reported them to Geico for not replacing parts that they billed for and not replacing broken fan shroud. This is pictures of my "new" headlights.lol

Unprofessional. Rude. Dishonest. We got a quote to repair our vehicle and were told it was rather easy and should only be a couple days to get the parts and to bring the car back. When we brought the car back they said they received the parts but didn't paint it yet, so it would be the next week. Came back the next week and they said it wasn't ready. Called every other day and was told something different each time. Parts came in, parts didn't come in, parts just needed to be painted, then the parts did come in but were damaged so they had to send them back. We were told that since we didn't do an insurance claim and were paying cash that we had to wait because all insurance claims came first no matter what. They said they then sent the parts back because they thought we weren't interested anymore - without asking us. We told them we were and we were wanting this done after waiting 4.5 weeks already. They said ok. We called after waiting another week and were told that they sold the company and the new owners were taking over in a little over a month and they weren't interested in doing anything for us and to find another place to go.The lady at the front is beyond rude and unprofessional. Clearly is not interested in the customers, not interested in much business and clearly doesn't care.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

We went to this place for a recommendation from an insurance company to get our vehicle fixed the first time we went in the morning it was sprinkling we were told they were not giving quote to the rain after lunch my husband came back asked for a quote and they asked him if he received any other quotes from any other places he said yes two Quotes, and that the insurance recommended three. An employee from this company then told him that they re not going to compete with business and would not give him a quote to fix the truck. good job Debbie I bet the owners are proud to have an employee like you.

Our insurance told us $200 and when my wife picked up the car they said there was no charge. They were very friendly and professional. They explained what they did and showed her the repair. Asked if she was happy with their work and if she needed anything else. And their two little dogs are cute and friendly too! Great place to do business and we will definitely use them again. Thanks Dayton Collision!!!

Absolutely amazing service & customer care. Parts and supplies are at an all time high shortage, which made it a while to get on the books but it was completely fine. Will use them anytime we need repairs.

I wouldn't even give this place a 1-star had to take my Jeep back twice because of shoddy workmanship and on the third time they refuse to even look at their shoddy work. The first time I took my Jeep back there was parts missing. a light not working and parts improperly installed and parts coming loose. On the second return and they fixed most things but still could not get the roof installation properly done and the driver side mirror still vibrates going down the road. I ended up having to take it another body shop to have them fix the work Dayton collision center could not do properly. They blame their poor work on their employees they failed to realize their employees work reflects on them the owners. The owner then told me he checked to work a several times and it was 100% done right.if that was a true statement I would not have to take it to another body shop to repair their work.

For those of you who go the extra mile to take care of your vehicles I cannot stress this enough, DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO DAYTON COLLISION CENTER IN DAYTON, TN. I brought my Toyota FJ Cruiser to them 7 years ago for body work after an accident with a deer. 7 years later I am still suffering through issues that resulted from the poor work that they performed on my FJ. I am sitting in the Toyota Service Center as I write this review. I am paying $100 out of pocket to replace a panel on the exterior body of my truck because when DCC installed it the first 2 times they could not figure out how to do it properly. After their first attempt at installation, the panel blew off on the interstate and busted my windshield. I'm finding out today that in their 2nd attempt at installation they still couldn't figure it out because they broke 3 of the mounting clips on the panel and decided to go ahead and glue it down. Well, the glue has worn off and I have to replace the entire panel b/c of the clips being broken. I also have to pay extra for labor because of the time involved with cleaning the glue from the perimeter of where this panel was installed. Now, let me address the busted windshield from the first installation and how they handled that. I specifically requested that they use Safelite when replacing the windshield. A week after bringing my FJ back home there was a heavy rain and when I opened my driver's door the next day I found the floorboard flooded with water. I contacted Safelite to see if they could send someone out to check the windshield installation. They informed me that they did not install the windshield. So, I contact the owner of DCC and he stated that he used a different windshield company because they were cheaper. However, I was still charged the Safelite price. The other company came out to check the windshield and stated that they could not duplicate customer concern. Every rain since then I have a flooded floorboard. So, I reiterate, if you care about your vehicle(s), do not use Dayton Collision Center in Dayton, TN.

I cannot say enough great things about "Dayton Collision Center".From the phone call from Tracy to the conscientious service from Brad, I had a completely enjoyable experience.The best part is that my 2015 Subaru looks showroom beautiful, and I highly recommend their skills and professionalism..Thank-you, Dayton Collision Center!

I personally would not take my vehicle any where else.They only use New parts and when it comes out of the shop it looks as though it was never damaged. Very helpful if you need a rental, take care of everything. If you don't agree sorry you can't please everyone.

Just had my car repaired there i can't complain about anything lady at front desk had no issue with her she was helpful they did i great job on car I know when I drop it off outside of car was dirty and inside need vacuming when i pick it up after repairs look like when got it from show room so no compaints here great job Dayton collision and thank you

My father went in there 5 minutes before closing just to ask a simple question about purchasing a top for his pickup, the woman was very rude and unprofessional, telling him they were already closed. He told her he just had a quick question and she flat out told him they were now closed. Guess his business is going to Chattanooga.

The lady at the front desk was very rude. She wasn t helpful after I told her I wasn t sure what I was doing because I ve never been in an accident and she continued to have an attitude and not help.

Very good body shop very good expensive but very goodI had my jeep fixed there when I was in an accident when a tractor-trailer run me off the road he did very good work on my Jeep I forgot to take the front bumper up though
