During our stay the front desk overseer was nice. Our room was good until I walked in the bathroom, there was hair in the shower, on the floor and in the sink . I went down to the front desk to ask the employee how often were the rooms cleaned, and I told her what I had seen. She said that room should be clean and stated that she s new and didn t know how to change our room. I asked for cleaning supplies because we have children and I wanted a clean bathroom. So the room wasn t the cleanest and we came for a vacation and I ended up having to clean our bathroom because it was poorly done!!! Not happy about it, but we made do.Rooms: Bathroom gross!!!!

This hotel is in a good location. There is coffee in the room. I like the double bed option. The hotel did not serve breakfast on my visits. There is a McDonald's close by. I would like to see the rooms cleaner. The linens should be fresh on the bed. The tub should be cleaned. My first visit, I wiped the bed down with Lysol wipes. The second visit, I used a towel in a tub floor with rust looking scratches. I brought drinks from the hotel store.Rooms: Double Beds

At the last minute needed a hotel, always like to use IHG whenever possible. Went to Holiday Inn Express in Covington, TN. Lady at the front desk was Casandras, she was amazing. So nice and helpful after a long 16 hrs of driving to be meet with a smiling face and helpful caring demeanor. Out room (203) was very clean, with a coffee maker in the room. Parking was well lit and had no problem finding a parking by the door. Continental Breakfast was great with many options, hot and surrounding were well maintained not messy. I can not say enough good things about Casandras and how much all front desk greeters should be like her. I would give her 10 out of 10 stars!!! If we are ever close I would stay here again.

I was a little concerned as the location was not what I expected from the description. At no time did I walk in or out to find an employee behind the service counter. It seemed like the lobby was their place to hang out. One employee was in her house slippers. The room was comfy enough. (Room 222). Bathroom fixtures were updated, tub and shower were still outdated. The heating/cooling unit was visibly corroded and disgusting. I did not turn it on, so I did not shower and stayed dressed. There is good pressure at the faucet and toilet. Modernized lighting w usb outlets near the bed. I noticed two charges pending for the room. The lady handling the breakfast bar helped, but she took my phone back to someone behind the wall (which made me very uneasy) and brought back the answer that one is a precharge and will fall off. Forget that it held up an extra 161.00 I may have needed for gas to get home and that 3 days later, it has still not reversed. I am extremely disappointed in the overall experience, but I am committed to IHG franchise of hotel chains ... until I am not any more.

Rooms are what you would expect nothing good nothing bad. Service is terrible, room cleanings are random or never happen. The person or family working the front desk routinely has their whole family taking up the entirety of the lobby downstairs. Disallowing places to work or sit for paying customers. The employees and their family that basically live there are so rude and inconsiderate that they park all around throughway roundabout entrance of the hotel completely blocking through traffic access. If you ask them about it they basically tell you to pack sand and go around. Not only is this the worst Holiday Inn I ve ever stayed in, it s one of the worst hotels I ve ever been to. Add in that it s in an unsafe area with multiple robberies at or around the hotel. AVOID THIS PLACE

My stay was 10/15-10/16/2022. I was excited to see the renovations. Everything looks fabulous. My mother was with me. I was there for business, so she was in the room on Saturday evening. The blinds malfunctioned and fell. My mom called the front desk, and she was told that maintenance would not be back until the following day. The issue I have is that no one on staff bothered to go to the room to at least inspect the situation. When I returned, my 85 year old mom was sitting in the hotel room with all of the lights off except one so that she would not be exposed to outside view. I believe that if someone had taken the time to investigate, a simple solution like "we can offer you a sheet to put over the window" would have been better than not taking the time to investigate at all. It was only when I went down to the front desk after seeing the blinds to address the situation were we offered the opportunity to move to another room. While speaking with the person on duty that night, she never looked me in the eye, and her attitude was one of what do you want me to do about it. I want you to show some concern for the clientele you serve. My mom was upset by the lack of concern she received and frankly so am I. The room that was reserved for us by a very dear friend was picked for my mom's convenience. We opted to stay in the room because if was comfortable and convenient for her. We managed to safely pin the blinds up to the window. It has been my experience the the staff at this particular hotel have always been kind and concerned. However, Saturday we were disappointed with the level of customer service we received. I do understand that maintenance was not returning until the next day, And I also understand that the person on duty did not have the skills to repair the blinds. But for a guest to tell you that there is an issue in your room and that person the person on duty is not at least willing to come to the room as see the problem is unacceptable. Customer service is everything.

Kind of a polished terd. First off they only do military discount on standard rooms which makes little sense to me. Thank you for you service but you only get our low end rooms. I stayed in a king room with a jetted tub. I expected a tub I could fit in, instead I got a standard sized tub with jets. There is no trim on half the walls and the side door is broken. There are tools and doors and lumber everywhere including the parking lot. SAD.

Stayed 1 night while my family was passing through & we were impressed. We stopped staying at IHG hotels awhile back but this was the only hotel that had 2 queens & a sofa sleeper. The staff from reception to bfast were all so friendly. Upon entering, its obvious the hotel had just undergone reno. The colors are beautiful & refreshing. The room was very spacious for our family of 5 & beautifully updated. It was very clean & had plenty of lighting. Our fave feature was that it was nice + cold when we walked in! Since we were just there to sleep, it was perfect! Bfast this am was a typical IHG bfast but very good. All in all, thoroughly impressed!

This hotel exceeded our expectations for a 3 star hotel. Well maintained. Still looks new in 2017. Complimentary breakfast was good. The room was spacious and clean. Our room had a desk and 2 queens. The shower was high pressure and had a great shower head. Most of all, the staff we interacted with were all friendly and helpful. Having compared the reviews of this hotel, to the others in the area, we were concerned about quality. If we return to the area, this will definitely be our choice.

On January 23rd we discovered bed bugs in our room. This is not only unsanitary but also made our stay very unpleasant. I spoke with management(Carol Williams), but she was very unprofessional. I showed her the bed bug that we were able to catch in a cup and also the evidence(my aunt s lip, hand and arm). Instead of listening to our concerns about this safety incident she was more concerned with the interest of the hotel and showed a total lack of compassion. As a result, my aunt had to go to the local hospital ER. Needless to say we never received a follow-up call or any response after we left our information for follow up contact.

Every part of the hotel was extremely dirty. Hair on bed linen, all over the bathroom floor and toilet, carpet dusty and furniture dusty. Undefined stains on every single furniture (couches, chairs etc.) Common areas were full of dust and not vacuumed. Reception was not manned and it was really hard to get anyone s attention.Breakfast was really poor and artificial (i.e. orange juice), plastic cutleries were dirty, bagels were stale and mini Philadelphia pots had been frozen when the box said do not freeze .

White out on coversDirty stained sheets.Reusable covers, that don t get washed unless it s a bad Odor or something that can t get wiped out.Staff doesn t listen to concerns but brush them off. This place needs a new general manager Carl Williams and supervisor Sharron needs to be replaced. For this hotel to be a five start rating.

Stayed at this hotel while in the area for travel ball tournaments. The hotel was nice, rooms were nice, the pillows and bed was so comfortable. The customer service ladies at checkin and checkout were more amazing. The breakfast was really good and the breakfast hostess was wonderful. She kept the food warm, fresh, and stocked. It was so great, that I tipped her at checkout! I recommend this hotel if you are in the area!

I travel A LOT. I seriously stay in hotels 10 months out of the year. I have YET to be greeted as kind as Mrs. Carol at the front desk. I had a very long day and nothing had been going quite right. Mrs. Carol was so pleasant. You can tell she loves what she does! She took the extra mile by searching for an authorization form I needed in order to check in. You just never know what a warm smile and positive attitude can do to someone! The room is very clean and comfortable. In fact, this is my first night here! I rarely write a review before I actually stay the night first, lol. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. Thank you Mrs. Carol!

Stayed 4/9-14/22 at Hoiday In Express in Covington, TN for funeral. Excellent customer service from front desk to breakfast, to housekeeping-Mr. James. Our room was very nice. I loved the firm beds, and slept well. My God mom says she stays here whenever she visits Covington. It was my first time. Parking free and we felt safe going in and out.I highly recommend staying at Holiday Inn Express in Covington TN!

The rooms are very clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. I slept like a baby. The night Manager, Mitch was so sweet and helpful and a pleasure to chat with along with rest of the lovely staff. The hotel is in the heart of Covington where there are plenty of places to eat and sightsee.

This hotel has exceptionally comfortable mattresses and chairs. Breakfast and friendliness of both the kitchen staff and front desk staff is perfect. Housekeeping, on the other hand, leaves MUCH to be desired. Bed sheets are covered in hair between the sheets, which makes me think they may not be being laundered. Dust covers everything except countertop and sinks. Housekeeping brings out "fresh" towels and washcloths quite literally just thrown in heaps on their cart, not even folded. 5 stars for kitchen and front desk and overall comfort. But only one star for housekeeping. This was experienced in multiple rooms, not just a one time experience.

My family and I had a great time at this hotel. The service was good. Hotel was clean. Staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. The only problem we had is the indoor pool had way to much chlorine. It made the water salty. But all and all it was a good trip. If I visit again I will stay here. Maybe next time j will get to use the gym. It looked really nice. What

I am giving this 5 stars. Staff are great . The grounds are picked up and debris free. The inside is both very clean and smells clean. Housekeeping staff on the 3rd floor was very good. If in the area again I would definitely stay here again.

Shampoo and conditioner dispensers did not work. Check before entering the shower to avoid disappointment. Daily staff wasn't friendly, seemed to just do their job. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

Upon arrival there were no towels or soaps in bathroom and there was a q tip still on the counter. The halls looked as they haven't been vacuumed in weeks. The pool had huge clips of hair and dirt in the bottom and there was no towels. The house cleaning staff did come to clean the room until 4pm, they knocked once them walked right in without any wait or without announcing that they were house keeping. The saver was that the staff was friendly and they had a great breakfast bar.
