I visited State Line Auto Service for a tire repair, and ended up buying a whole new set of tires. The price was reasonable, and the service was both courteous and very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again!

We had a flat on our way to family vacation and the owner and one of his employees fixed us right on up super quick and were the nicest people!! Highly recommend for any auto work for sure!! So thankful they were so willing to help us with a smile on their face!

A very personal thank you to they team at State Line Auto. My niece was having problems with her car on at trip to Michigan. She was lucky enough to find these guys and they were very professional. Thank you so much for getting her fixed so quickly so her and her children could get back on the road for a safe trip.

Not a good place does illegal diesel EGR deletes and makes customers pay cash so he don't have to put the money on the books. Run up tickets on people with our telling them what they are doing on the vehicles till it's time to pay. To many shady things going on at this shop. From what I seen they could not diagnose a rusted bicycle chain and get it right.Stay away at all cost of you want to keep your car.

On my way back to Atlanta, I found myself in a real bind recently - rush hour interstate traffic and a rapidly deflating rear tire, thanks to road construction debris. I had to take the next exit and just hope there would be a gas station or service that could fix my tire - and there was State Line Auto Service! Friendly people, fast and great service, and within an hour I was merrily on my way. Highly recommend this excellent service business, but I suspect the locals already know this!Service: Tires

Excellent shop! They are extremely knowledgeable, flexible, fast and professional! They do excellent work for a fair price! They also have a keen eye to finding the root of your issue. I normally hesitate taking my car to any shop, but I would trust this one any day of the week. Would definitely recommend!

Traveling from Florida to Wisconsin and checked into a local hotel Thursday afternoon on a holiday weekend. Turned off the vehicle and the blower fan remained on. Called and talked to a representative at State Line. They informed me to stop first thing Friday morning. Diagnosed the problem right away and contacted a parts supplier to confirm availability. They were able to perform repair. Gave me a ride back to the hotel and picked me up when the repair was complete. Extremely friendly and professional! Would recommend them to everyone. They deserve 10 stars.

Absolutely horrible experience! I have taken my truck here for a coolant leak and almost 300 dollars later, it still leaks! They claimed to pressure test it. It when from 15 psi to 11 psi and he said it was holding pressure...BTW, the hose that they claimed was the original problem was never leaking!

Had the clutch in my Corolla replaced here and the whole experience was fantastic. I came here because of the good reviews and reasonable pricing and was not disappointed. John was super awesome and helpful, they did exactly what I asked and was very thorough. Also didn't pressure me into doing more to my car than I had requested. If you would like to spend 2k and the car not make it across the road be my guest .Run from these people after you pay them for not even fixing the car they will be done with you ...and the warranty they give ,if they don't like what happens they just say oh no that piece paper that says warranty isn't true ......what a joke ...Do not take your car here .when it ask me at bottom of this review what services they performed.I want to say 2k worth of what wasnt needed ... seriously the car didn't make it across the road folks...now they say ghey dont remember me after the owner convently shued me away after getting the 2k dollars ...That's ok i manage 3 hotels next to you ...when people come off i75 looking for autowork and btw it happens alot ..il do my part so noone else is ripped off!!! ..and dont say you warranty it you dont

This is by far the best auto repair shop I ve been to. They are always able to get me in right away and they are done quickly. We take all our cars to them. John is amazing! He is always so nice and reasonable. He even drove my car home one day when the service was done because I didn t have a way to get both cars home at once. If your looking for a great place to take your car you have to go here. You won t be disappointed!

UPDATE BELOWDropped my van off on Sept. 1st for them to ONLY plug in the OBD reader to verify what Honda of Dalton had said which was the spark plugs need to be changed, I also asked if the driver's side sliding door could be looked at because the cable had broke, I explained to John and an elderly man in the office to ONLY do that and then call my warranty dept and then me too let me know BEFORE anything was actually done / repaired and I was told "Oh absolutely" well between Sept 1st and Sept 21st (3 weeks) I called the garage too find out a status, it was after 2 weeks before the van was even moved into the garage, at the end of EVERY SINGLE call I would tell them to call me BEFORE anything was done/replaced/repaired and John, Tony & a new guy who started the day before, would say "ooh of course", well on Sept 21st, I got a call from John telling me that they done a compression test ($224.10) for no reason nor approved by me first, and he said it passed with flying colors, so they replaced the spark plugs which I was charged$307.86 for the plugs + $188.72 labor, the plugs cost $167.94 from Advance (where they were delivered from) which means their mark up was $139.92 unheard of, at the end of the day it cost me $846.39, their mark up for the plugs $51.31 when they actually cost $27.99 minus their 10%UPDATE: CHECK YOUR CAMERAS, I DRIVE MY FREAKING VAN TO YOUR SHOP!!John you are flat out lying about all of that, my warranty is still in effect and current, I have spoken to them and there is absolutely no record of you or anyone else calling to even begin a claim, my oil is changed every 3,000 miles at Valvoline in Fort Oglethorpe, NO ONE including yourself ever called me until Sept 21, the day before I picked my van up, and I'm not sure how you would know anything at all that was told to me when I dropped my van off due to you not being in there at all, Tony was the only one I dealt with that morning, and I , and as far as me not keeping my maintenance up on my vehicle, I was not driving my van during the time I was trying to get it to you, hell I may be a woman but I am no where near stupid about vehicles as you're trying to protray, I NEVER approved any work to be done only put it on the code machine and then let me know.You're lying about everything you put in your ridiculous reply, and the day I finally got my van back, I dealt with an older gentleman that I expressed all of my feelings about being lied to by YOU and the freaking price gouging you do, and his reply to me 2 time's was "all I can say is what I was told to say is, in the market" even a guy that use to work for you was there for a quote and he heard every word and his wife said "Let's go and find somewhere else"....So long story short, you're in the business of ripping people off, and apparently lying about everything when they make a review to make yourself look good... No matter the cost.

The team at State Line is top notch. Was on a road trip and my transmission gave out on the way down. Luckily we were able to pull into State Line. Will make you wait forever for an estimate that never comes, do work you didn't agree too, and leave you with a huge bill, taking advantage if you don't know about cars. Please avoid him at all costs.

Was traveling through Chattanooga when I began having car issues, Jon was super nice and gave me a ride to the car rental place so I could get a car to finish my 10 hour drive home, I left my truck with them for a month, mostly because I was busy and just using rental cars. I had spoke with the mechanics who told me that my problems was a tune up for spark plugs and coil packs. They had replaced them and I flew back to Chattanooga to retrieve my vehicle only for 30 minutes down the road to start having the same problem, and I then noticed my transmission overheating. So they fixed something that was not the issue, and obviously did not thoroughly look into my problem. 2 stars because Jon was super nice, but also 2 stars because they failed to do their jobs correctly.Service: General repairs & maintenance

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. JOHN WILL QUOTE YOU A PRICE AND THEN WHEN YOU GET THERE ITS DIFFERENT. THEN HE WILL SAY HE TOLD YOU THATA LIAR. I WILL BE REPORTING HIM TO THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU. I TOLD HIM THIS. HE SAID IT'S HAPPENED BEFORE AND HE STILL HAS 70 CARS OUT THERE TO BE FIXED. I GUESS MY LITTLE HONDA IS NOTHING. WE WILL BE GOING TO SMALL CLAIMS COURTALSO THEY TOOK MY DOOR PANELING OFF TO GET MY WINDOW ROLLED UP, LEFT A.PIECE OFF BUT DIDNT PUT IT BACK ON. THEY PUT THE PIECE IN MY CUPHOLDER. NOTHING WAS WRONG WITH MY WINDOWS WHEN I LEFT IT. AND TOOK IT TO WALMART THERE WASNOTHING WRONG WITH MY BATTERY. JOHN TOLD MY MOTHER HE WOULD ONLY TRY AND REPROGRAM MY KEY IF I TOOK THIS POST DOWN. AND I CANNOT LOCK MY DOOR BY KEYLESS ENTRY ANYMORE I ALSO CANT USE THE LOCK SWITCH TO LOCK THE DOOR. WHEN I TOLD JOHN THIS HE STATED HE DIDNT WHEN HIS OFFICE WORKER TODD JUST TOLD ME THEY TOOK MY PANELING OFF. JOHN STATED I WAS WRONG AND TO PROVE IT. A BAD BUSINESS OWNER. UNTRUSTWORTHY AND A STRAIGHT OUT LIAR .
