Top notch in every way. I have 2 vehicles going in over the next 2 weeks.I am sure they can fix anything, and be honest. I will update.Tommy and his crew did it again. We had to order parts from the UK. They fixed everything as ALWAYS.

I've taken two vehicles here (a Mazda and Nissan) across the last two years, and these guys do exceptional work. Tommy is extremely honest, and does everything he can to get you the best price. Anytime I've taken a car to them, they've always had it done either within the day or the next. Hate that I am moving away and can no longer use them, I would recommend these guys to anyone.

I ve had my promaster van to three Chrysler dealerships to fix a starting problem Rivermonthad it fixed in 2 days. I highly recomend them.Thank you it s running great

If you are a woman and looking for somewhere to go where you will be treated well, have fair prices and an honest team who is completely focused on details and perfection - Rivermont Auto is your place.Tommy and Jeremy were beyond amazing in how detailed they were on my car and making sure everything was perfect. I truly appreciated that they wouldn't let me take the car until they were happy with it. I have experiences elsewhere in Chattanooga(Maaco) that were the opposite. So having them watch out for me was very appreciative.They will be upfront on timing and costs and what does and doesn't need to be done.You can trust this company and crew. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.Services: Painting, Auto body & trim replacement

Great shop and excellent folks. They have help me keep my 2006 Ford Escape running on several occasions. Most of the times on short notice on my part. I will definitely continue to use them and will recommend them to family and friends.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

We were just here. The mechanic was amazing, he deserves 10 stars. We were in a family vacation, last day, trying to get home and break line issues. The young man was able to get the part the next morning and get it fixed. $135hr/labor times(x) 2 and a half hrs does not equal over $500 in labor and I have the right to question that. The owner was rude and unprofessional, therefore the 2 stars. When we questioned the bill since it was more than he told me, he got upset and told me to get out of his business and didn t even charge me. It s not fair that I wanted to pay the mechanic for a great job and couldn t bc the owner wouldn t allow me to. He got really upset. Last time I checked I still have the right to question before paying for anything that seems more than what it should ve been.

I originally found reviews on-line for Rivermont Auto for resolving electrical issues on vehicles. I have an older Mercedes that was having weird electrical issues. These guys isolated the multiple issues & fixed it in a timely manner with reasonable cost compared to going to a local dealership. I highly recommend this service & the mechanics are great! I am a returning customer. Its so hard to find an honest & fair shop these days!

These guys are awesome. Very honest automotive shop which is hard to find these days. Took my 4Runner there to have them and within a day and a half, had my new parts installed and clear my CEL/VSV light/and traction control. I was quoted $1700 of labor from another shop in town. Rivermont did the service and beyond for $400. YES. You read that right. They are very knowledgeable and friendly. Will be recommending this shop to my friends and coworkers in the area. I've been trying to find a shop like these guys ever since I moved to Chattanooga. I will be bring all my vehicles to them from here on out. They saved me a ton of money and did a great job on the repair. They laid out what other parts might need to be purchased. 5/5 stars. The bad reviews on this shop are clearly people who do not understand cars. Highly recommend these guys

Scammed me out of $400 for the car to break down 10 minutes after I got it off of their lot. Do not trust.I had to have my car towed to their shop after engine troubles and eventually losing the ability to crank the car. I had it towed to their shop and was informed about the lock cylinder needing to be replaced. I said okay but questioned them on the engine troubles. I let them know I thought it might be serious and didn't want to spend a lot of money if the car wasn't going to run properly. I was told they could only figure out what was wrong with the car once they fixed the lock cylinder so I agreed.When I went to pickup the car, I was told the lock cylinder was fixed and the car would be fine. I inquired about why the engine was burning oil and why giant clouds of white smoke were coming out of the tailpipe. I was told it was just because the engine had a lot of miles and everything would be fine. They really just wanted me to give them $400 and get out.Not 10 minutes after I leave the lot I see the car is running hot. I pullover and let the car cool down before adding some coolant. That was the last time the car started. Had it towed to some honest mechanics who told me I had a blown head gasket. You'd think that would be something a mechanic would easily be able to detect but I guess not. The engine has too many miles on it so I would really just have to get a new engine which is not worth it. So I spent $400 on a car that no longer runs.I brought my car to this shop on the advice of someone who told me they could be trusted. I made a mistake and I urge anyone considering using this "service" to look elsewhere. As for the owners, I hope they sleep well at night ripping off college students that $400 looks like a fortune to.

Awesome father and son repair shop. Like the good old days when you could trust a man at his word. Tommy and Charlie help me maintain my vehicles by keeping me informed, doing great work at a great price, and never trying to sell me things I don't need. They stand behind their work and always shoot straight. These guys are the real deal and conduct business the way it should be done.

I happened to have a car emergency right across the street from Rivermont, and initially chose them simply for convenience. They rushed to get me my part and fixed the problem in less than an hour for a very reasonable price. I was very impressed with the service and cost, and highly recommend!
