I stopped in because I was having a rattle problem with my car on a road trip. Andy, Mike and the whole team went above and beyond to try to find out what it was, and even though we did not find the source of my rattle, I left reassured I can continue safely on my trip.Thank you!

Please do not go this place for any services including oil changes. They just don t know how to repair problems, and I have to visit 3 times for the same problem. Very unprofessional and ethic less people work there. You may pay a whole check to them, and think they did a great job. Unfortunately you shouldn't trust them to work on your vehicle.

I had the privilege of getting my breaks replaced at Precision Auto. They were quick, efficient and very knowledgeable. The new owner, Brandon, has several businesses. He is so personable. I'll have to check out his used car business on Chapman. I will use this company again.

CHEAPEST OIL CHANGE AROUND!!! BEYOND FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE (and I ve called about 5 different times, spoke to a couple different people and these people are just something different. GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!

Last Monday, the 24th of July, my morning began easily enough. I Google'd 'oil change' and I called 'Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers' asking how much an oil change for a standard 2019 Equinox would cost. The woman who answered the phone (who couldn't have been nicer) politely explained it would cost ninety-eight dollars and some change. I asked if appointments were required, and she said no, so I thanked her and proceeded to call the next business on the list, which happened to be Precision Tune. I'm so glad I called them because after putting them through the same routine, their price was less than fifty dollars out-the-door!! Looks to me like somebody was trying to "engineer" $50 out of my pocket!!I was 5 minutes away, made the trip over, and Brandon took excellent care of the job while giving me some helpful, local advice, as I'll be moving to TN soon.I promised Brandon I would leave a review, so here it is. Thanks again, bro, for the great service, attitude, and professionalism. You guys rock!!

I went in for an oil change. Technicians welcomed me like a long lost friend. The technician changing my oil, let me know everything he was doing. He also asked if I wanted to have my tire pressure checked on all four tires. Because I was going on a trip, I eagerly replied that it would be great! I was in and out in about 15 minutes. Please do not go this place for any services including oil changes. They just don t know how to diagnose problem and I have to visit 3 times for the same problem. They kept a week for repair and promised to do on Monday/Tuesday and I called on Tuesday then they say they are not sure when they can get it done. Very unprofessional and ethic less people work there. Manager Daryl is just useless guy to talk to. He is rude and doesn t have any responsibility to answer customer properly. He says take your car if you want. We will get it to it asap but doesn t give any definitive answer. We all have to work and not having car for 10 days makes it difficult for anyone. Please don t waste your time to take your car there. It is just going down business.

Changing a bad review to five stars for the reason that the owner was very prompt in helping me correct a problem. Had an issue with a repair that was done, called back to get it fixed and they made sure to fit me in the very next day. Owner genuinely cares about customer satisfaction and that s all one can ask for!

LOVE THIS PLACE!!! My car was making weird noises and stalling a bit much. Went in to Precision Tune on Gunbarrel, thinking I needed a tune up but was informed it was indeed an alternator that was needed. Darryl (hope I'm spelling it right) was very informative about why I wasn't due for a tuneup and I RESPECT how he didnt take my money by performing a service that wasn't needed. They got right into the labor and made my waiting time seem short by being very funny and pleasant to be around. It's HARD to find mechanics who are HONEST & don't try to get over on you, ESPECIALLY since I'm a woman. These guys are the BEST! & Serenity (my car) is riding as smooth as ever with NO WEIRD SOUNDS!!! GREAT PLACE!!!Service: Electrical repair

I am a musician and was in town for rehearsals. When I left rehearsal after midnight, my truck wouldn't start. Based on the symptoms I thought it was the fuel pump and had it towed to Precision Tune the next morning. He agreed it was probably the pump but could also be something else in the fuel line. This was a Friday and he didn't have time to open it up until Monday. On Monday, he called me and informed me the truck was now running (even though he confirmed it wouldn't start on Friday), and he was hesitant to just throw parts at it without being able to confirm 100% that it was the fuel pump, especially when it could've been something else much cheaper to replace. I ended up coming to get it and driving it home to Athens, GA. I greatly appreciated his honesty, and if I should ever need help in Chattanooga again, I know where I'm going. Highly recommend!

These guys are absolutely fabulous! I took my list of repairs that I got from an auto repair place I had gone to a few times. I showed them my list and they crossed just about everything off saying unnecessary unnecessary unnecessary. I paid 1/3 of what I was told by the first auto repair place. There s A good reason why they re so busy

The oil change was quickly done and the service rep was very thorough. He showed us how dirty our air filter was and we had it changed. The service rep s mannerism was very professional yet personal. I wished I got his name as he deserves a huge shout out! This was our first time there and I now believe we have found our car care place! We highly recommend themService: Oil change

Excellent service! These guys are car heroes! I had an alternator go out on me while on a road trip. They had it replaced in 2 hours and it was late in the day. I was blown away with how fast, efficient, and affordable they were. I was able to get my family on to our next destination over the holidays. Great work. Highly recommended.

It took me a while to find a trustworthy place to bring my car to after I moved here. A lot of places I went to before either tried to sell me services I didn t need or overcharge me. I think they have fair prices and good staff. I am always pleased with the job they do. Great bunch of guys! We were in Chattanooga on a shopping trip when our brake caliper went out. Being a long way from home and not knowing a good place to get it fixed we called around various shops in the area, none of which could get to us that day until we called here. They sympathized with us and got us in even though they were busy. We were on our way in just a few hours. The truck is working great. I highly recommend this shop!Service: Brakes

Every time I have gone to Precision Tune Auto Care I have been treated professionally, respectfully, and kindly. The men who work there care about the work they do for the customers and want each one to be satisfied. Steve the owner was a true blessing to our family. We were on our way to Florida from Michigan. Our air conditioning wasn t working and with three children ages six and younger, it made for a brutal drive once we hit the warmer climate states. We called about ten places from Cleveland, TN and once we got to Steve s place it was a true blessing. He told us to come right in even though it was close to closing time. He was kind. Offered coloring books for the girls and great conversation while we waited. This place was a true blessing. Recommend for anyone needing repairs.Service: Air conditioning

I've been coming to this location for as long as i can remember but today was by far the best experience I've had there. I didn't catch the man's name working front desk (muscular guy who had tons of tattoos on his arms) but he definitely Knew how to run the front office professionally. Lobby had two before me, two was coming in behind me and phone was ringing. He managed to do it all. The oil change wait was one of the quickest and today they had it pulled up front with door open for me to get in. Never before have i felt catered to like that there. I just wanted to give that man an A+ for going the extra mile! He deserves a raise!

I have to say that these guys were an absolute blessing for me. Michelle was one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met and she did everything in her power to help me. They were patient in my decision making process and charged me beyond fairly. If you need help, let them help. Thank you guys so much

The services were OK but the guy doing my oil change spilled it all over my engine. Because of that oil leaked on my garage floor and you could smell it while you were driving. You know people are going to make mistakes sometimes. I will still probably go there for my services.

Fixed my ride and although the part took two weeks it wasn't there fault and they did as much as they could to keep me informed on my extended vacation. Thanks to Dwight for putting up with my wife and I on our honeymoon freaking out as if the world was ending . They had amazing customer service and I am glad they were the shop I chose.

On Friday January 31st I took my truck to the Precision Tune on Gunbarrel road Chattanooga 37421. I had squeaking coming from a pulley under the hood. The Mechanic told me I needed to change the serpentine belt and pulley because they were bad. They ordered the parts which were overpriced!!!!! After ordering the first belt whom ever they ordered it from brought a belt that didn t fit so he had to bring another belt. The guy comes back with 2 different belts as I watched from the waiting room. The mechanic put the belt on and after he finished my truck was still making the noise. I asked the mechanic why and he tells me you have two bad belts the AC belt is also bad. At this point I m trying to figure out why he didn t recognize this on the initial inspection. He then proceeds to tell me that he put a cheaper quality serpentine belt than my original belt which was a higher quality belt on my truck. His reasoning was that customers when he tell them the price of the belt I have they don t want it because it s expense!!! Why not let me make that decision and not him I don t want cheap products on my vehicle. Then he gives me my old belt back and says we re just going to throw it away anyway. Now if the belt was bad why do I need it just throw it away! I paid $275 and got cheap parts on my truck and my truck still in the same condition it was when I brought it to them! I took my truck to another Shop on Monday the mechanic listen to it sprayed some WD40 on my AC belt and Pulley and the noise went away he said that s the problem your AC belt pulley is bad. I went and purchased the AC belt only because that s what the mechanic at Precision Tune told me was the problem. Come to find out it wasn t the belt at all it was the pulley only. Places like this need to be exposed because they only want your money and don t know a damn thing about fixing cars! THANK YOH JR Shipleys in East Brained for being honest and only fixing the problem and not just doing work and over charging your customers!!! I will never use Precision Tune again and I will let all of my family and friends know do NOT use them for anything not even a oil change they are crooks!!!!Service: General repairs & maintenance

Highly Expensive!!! I went there to get a starter part and they asked for $500 back when I was in Charlotte and had my first car a starter didn't cost anymore than $120

AWFUL! They did work on a Ford F350 diesel, paid several thousand dollars for them to replace engine and all parts under hood. The only part not replaced was turbo. 3,400 miles later the NEW fuel injector goes bad. They require us to drive it to their diesel mechanic in the woods to confirm it is fuel injector and promised to fix it under warranty. Once diesel mechanic kept truck for a couple of days and confirmed the fuel injector was the problem, Precision still refused to cover it !!!! They don't warranty their work on diesels apparently! Very rude, not professional, liars! Do not use Precision. They do not warranty their work or stand by by their word!
