Very deceitful business practice by charging optional 90 day guarantees on all parts without asking me as the customer if I wanted the additional coverage. When I went back in to get a refund on the optional guarantees I knew nothing about the employee stated that the guarantees are charged unless you strictly tell them up front that you do not want the guarantees. The employee also stated that this happens all the time and it upsets customers as a result. He pointed out signage that is hanging in the middle of the lobby overhead and in front of the computer on the counter. I pointed out to him that the signage on the counter was covered by a glove. Not sure if that was intentional placed their but seemed quite coincidental if not intentional. Unless you take the time to read all the numerous signs hanging overhead or the sign on the counter which is hopefully not covered up then you have no idea about the extra charges. Please train the employees to ask before charging for the guarantees and don't do it deceitfully. This will make for more pleased customers.

Until today it s been 15 years since I ve been in a junk yard. This was extremely well organized and easy to find stuff. Nothing like the single mom and pop places I went to when much younger. With wheel barrels to carry parts and such. A pretty good experience overall

Anyone who thinks they are getting good service and good prices from these jokers is smoking crack I bought 2 factory wheels for a Ford f150 the wheels $35 each the center caps $6 each $82 I can deal with that but then a $10 core charge each $20 $5 each for tire removal $21 90 day warranty for the wheels $3.62 for the centers even charged a 90 day warranty of $1.50 each for taking the tires off the wheels $9:00 environmental fee $12:81 tax it doubled total $161.33 and wanted $43 for a used brake caliper it would have been $75 after they get done adding new one I bought $64 at O'Reillys I will never buy anything from these idiots again and you have to pay $3 to enter and take the greasy workout part off yourself.Just beware or mabe y'all have money to give away

I hate this junkyard have been too many pull a parts, and enjoy buying parts, but this one is the worst they are more expensive than the rest, and they are dishonest with their 90 day warranty that is automatically applied at checkout and cost extra I was charged over $150 for a warranties on fenders and a hood who needs a warranty on parts like that tried to get a refund for it and they said no we can t do that I tried to reason with them, and they said look at it from the customer point of view but I am the customer if you buy something that doesn t fit, you can bring it back if you buy the wrong part that should be on you Pay just because other people are stupid he said there s signs everywhere about it but it s really small print also, the environmental fee is based off of your total price, so they are stacking fees also charged more because of the warranties and then tax as well made $500 worth of parts $780 and I don t even think they would let me return parts for cash refund just Exchange all other pull aparts have warranty included for the price and it s less than half of what they charge here Express pull and save and cfc are way better I will give them five stars. lkq sucks

They have gone crazy now. They no longer do exchanges PLUS as I was told by the guy behind the counter "no refunds, no exchanges even if the part is bad"So for those of you that want to buy an alternator or starter you are now stuck with that bad part and have to pay the $3 entry fee and pay another part and hope it's good.

They force you to purchase the insurance no matter what part you are getting. Not only that but they charge you, on average, 50% of what the a brand new part cost. Not what they use to be.

Been here many times. I ve always enjoyed the experience. The place is organized, and if you are unsure of where to look, the employees will be happy to help you by providing a map of the yard and where you re going to find certain vehicles. There s a $3 entry fee, which isn t bad. Once you open the doors to the junkyard, it s almost another world. There are vehicles as far as the eye can see.Just make sure to bring all the tools you ll need. Wheelbarrows are provided. Once you pull the parts you need, there are pumping sinks by the door with gritty soap so you can wash your hands if you d like. Prepare to get a little dirty when removing parts lol.The parts are by far priced cheaper than you could get anywhere else. For instance a lightly worn headlight assembly for a Honda Odyssey was over 80% off what you would pay brand new. So you definitely can get oem products for a great deal!I like LKQ because of how neat and organized the experience is. And the cool thing is it sits not too far from towering Lookout Mountain. So you get a pretty cool view while you re working. One last word of advice tho, make sure to stay hydrated and bring something to drink! Because once you re deep in the yard, it ll take you sometimes several minutes just to walk back.Happy pulling!

Very well organized and safe. It is easy to walk to the vehicle you are looking for and see if the parts you need are there. The pricing is very good as well.

Went to pull muffler bearings for my 1989 Yugo GVL because my old ones were worn out and you can't buy Yugo parts anymore. I was getting sick and tired of all the rattling and decided to try out LKQ since it was local and was charged double at the register after going through all the effort of taking apart the exhaust flange and fishing out the bearings by hand since they no longer make the tool. It's the same self-checkout ordeal you find at your local grocery store, if you are going to charge that much you should be pulling the parts yourselves and selling them for the price you are asking.

Best inventory that I know of in the area. Great informative website with up to date inventory. Rows/sections are not easily identifiable anymore though and can be very confusing/frustrating.Edit: They now label the rows effectively so it is much easier trying to find vehicles locations from website. They implemented a 90 day return policy and are charging for it. Look at their prices list. If you don't need 90 days because you know your part will fit then don't pay for the add on warranty. If you have a core return you have to do it the same day you buy your part.

They sell the parts at a very high price as if they were new, it is better to buy them new.

Nice itemization of vehicle locations. Some neat old "almost survivors" there as well

You know, I've been coming here since it first opened. Never had a bad experience for several years and today that changed when I was charged for a complete turbocharger when I only bought half. I'm going to go back tomorrow and return the turbo because the prices for things have went through the roof. These used to cost only $69 or so back in 2016-2019. Now it's $130 something with a warranty but other junkyards are selling for less and even have them pulled for you. What's going on with LKQ? Even removed the 40% off coupons and redeemable credits. Pathetic..

LKQ Pick Your Part is a great place to find all parts of any kind for your vehicle. I just went there to find a back door for my minivan with the window intact. I found one, it cost less then having just the window fixed. Bring your tools and get the parts you need for the vehicle you're working on. It's a gold mine for the mechanic at heart.

Very poor run establishment. They have a website that acts like they have these cars exactly like they are, when you get there and explain to them what you need they charge you $3, you go in walk all the way to the vehicle to find it is completely stripped . When you return to the desk to explain that the part you Specifically asked for is gone, they say that this is the "benefits" of a pick a part, and will not give you a refund. Real professional con artists.

Hi, you guys have a car in stock that I need parts for, is there any chance you do shipping?

I used to love this place, until today. They have jacked up their prices to brand new stuff. $20.00 a piece for 250,000 mile lifters? They're out of their freaking minds! They're excuse "would you buy an engine with parts missing?" The cylinder heads were already gone! Hence I was going to buy the lifters. But this is a junkyard not autozonage!

Bought 2 rims for a family members focus. Charged $10 to dismount the tires, $20.40 for a guarantee fee, $20 for cores. When I got to the car ( in the parking lot 5 foot from the front door ) I noticed the guarantee fee and when I returned inside I was told since I walked out that he couldn t remove it ? But it s ok for them to sneak it in and not make you aware of a charge you can decline as long as you don t walk outside? I have a commercial account at the Tampa Florida LKQ and I ve never had any issues with them and the prices are wayyyy lower than here as well. Glad I won t have the pleasure of ever returning here.

They give you a piece of paper. That folds to show you where the cars are. But the lands are not mock at all.

Good facility, terrible staff. Charging for "guarantees" that are completely optional and not even asking. My fault for not looking at receipt before walking out but I walk right back in and now they can't do anything? Thieves

If you like to dumpster dive and hope you get lucky, then you might like this place. When you call you get an automated system that tells you to check their website and can't talk to a real person. It claims if you go online they have a complete list of parts and prices. When you go online it shows the exact cars they have there and in the list of parts deceives you to believe it is actually there and not already taken. Since you have no way to call, you can't tell if the parts you are looking for are there or already taken and that is how they waste your time and money. So unless you have time to kill and feel like gambling on IF they have parts there regardless of if the make and model is right then this is the place for you.

Zero stars. No thanks LKQ, Pull-a-Part has you beat. You're the only game in town but the drive to Knoxville, Nashville or Atlanta is worth it on principle.1. All makes and models are thrown in together domestic along with imports. Someone thought this was a good idea?2. The vehicles aren't where the website says they are. So then, it becomes a scavenger hunt.3. Price. I went in for a common connector. The guy seemed to have arbitrarily decided on $10.58. How could that be? I already parted with a $3 admission. The dealer wants $7.99 for a new part.

The beauty of LKQ is now gone. Go in there and remove parts for dirt cheap prices, not anymore. They have horrible business practice as they put every mom and pop junkyard out of business in the area by their dirt, cheap prices and now jack their prices up to almost new part prices. They trick you into buying extended warranties on everything. It's becoming a scam. I would recommend searching elsewhere for cheap parts. You do all the work to remove things such as engines and charge you the same price as you can. Just go buy one from another junkyard That's already removed. Also, none of their stuff is tested and verified before you remove it. Therefore, it may be bad and you just done all the work removing it for them and they don't give you completely 100% of your money back either. SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE AND DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT!!!

Might have to walk a mile to get to the vehicle u need but it's a great choice if u have someone or ur capable of doing it urself. Always have tons of choices for any car been going there about 3yrs now. Guys r pretty chill. And definitely a nice place... can be intimidating for a female but nothing to worry about.

Went to LKQ to get a few small things at check out I had washer fluid plastic tank, a blue tooth radio and a rubber hose the guy told me my total was 75.80 now the radio was a Walmart one that cost 25.00 bran new LKQ was wanting $40.00 for it the washer fluid container they wanted $30.00 new on e bay they are $19.00 and for the plastic hoses they wanted $3.50 which was a fair price. I left everything and left just going to order it off eBay way cheaper. I do not recommend LKQ at all very over priced!

I love this place. On this visit we were getting heads for my boyfriends 3400 Chevy motor. We found exactly what we were looking for. While he was doing that I was walking around looking for a sun visor you my cusion. For her Chevy Malibu. I did find it. They charged $10 for it. While looking we found a red and black seat cover to match my boyfriends seat covers. They didn't charge much at all for it. It was a good trip. I can't wait to go back.

I love this place! Can't beat the prices! Great staff, always looking to help! I'm extremely thankful for these guys because they have to deal with some real winners and they do it with a smile. Always trying to improve the customer experience! These guys do more for recycling than the entire planet! Keep it up!
