My girlfriend knows nothing about cars ( and can barely drive one) but she always took her car to midas (before we got together) and just recently she got a used car a 2008 saab 9-5 and had some issues so she called them and they charged her $125 to tow maybe a mile then say they can't fix the car and would be charged another $125 to tow back. That's when I said nope so I called and got it towed over to my house which is 7 miles away $75. But the cars driver floorboard has 1 inch of water the under dash panel for the driver side is hanging down there's broken pieces of the clips that hold it in the floor board and I can and I'm very polite and just telling them what happened and ask for them to cover the cost to have it dried out since it happened while they was in possession NOPE its was like that when we got it and the water is why it won't start and NO they're not covering the cost to dry it out. Oh but the car has never had water in it before and it only started not starting when the key battery died so that's strange that all that can happen just out of nowhere and the lady I talked to first wasn't very polite and put me on hold and transferred the call to the manager and didn't even say anything or try to help, but the manager for not doing the right thing was very polite so I say thank you sir for being professional and had you just agreed to try to cover the cost to dry it out we would continue business with you but I believe not anymore.

I have used Midas multiple times to fix my Kia. I wouldn't rust anyone else to fix my car! You have a lifetime customer now! Thank you for being so kind, accommodating, and patient while someone who is not car savvy needed help! My car was towed this last time and everything that needed to be done was explained in layman's terms. My car was fixed within a couple of days! Kelly is truly phenomenal and deserves a raise for all she does! 100000/10 recommend!

Dropped my Honda off at 8am for an oil change appointment at 130pm, While waiting on my ride the manager helped me fix a cup of coffee and had a great conversation. He was very helpful and had a positive attitude for 8am in the morning! The service manager Kelly called at 10am and said your car is ready! I love love LOVE these people. SO nice, SO helpful, SO fast. Can't complain and if you do, i'll beat you up :)

Midas robbed me of services, money and committed fraud against me...I had just bought a used vehicle and came here to get some maintenance service completed. An oil change, check the battery and whatever services needed to be done. I dropped the vehicle off in the morning and when I got back right before closing... I noticed, they hadn't changed the battery. So I had to wait a little longer....After a day or so come to find out they never did change my oil although they charged me for it. After investigation from one of their competitors I had the original oil filter on there from when I bought the vehicle. I called the Midas location and they refunded my money but never gave me an answer as to why they committed fraud... A little bit of time passed by and I come to find out they never replaced my battery either. It had the original battery from when I bought the car and I have not got my money back from the purchase of a battery. What they did to me was intentional. Make sure you do your due diligence and if it happens to you file a criminal complaint against them for Fraud and Theft.

Was having issues with my battery dropped it off with them shortly thereafter I was called and was told my alternator needed to be replaced. Got my quote they got to work before days end I had my car back. Meant to leave a review earlier but i had a great experience with Jay. We had to get our breaks check so we call mid morning and got a time to show up early afternoon. Got an examination and a quote in an hour to change front and back. Jay threw a coupon for us and 2 hours later i was out while the shop kept busy. So many customers and still everyone got the attention they deserved. Also they have great quotes for tires!

My son dropped car off .. estimate was $1400. They kept it for over 3wks & tried to charge him over $2200. The parts were $1600 + $500 labor.. I could have purchased the parts myself on-line for approx $500. They bought the parts from AutoZone and then marked up 20-30%. I m pretty sure he could ve went to the Ford dealership & gotten better service at a cheaper price .. LESSON LEARNED

I highly recommend Midas at 5951 Brainerd Rd. They are very competent and caring. Jimmy is a very experienced exhaust and brake technician and did an excellent job with my 1960 Volvo 544.He also completed other maintenance problems. Superb shop and their customer service was outstanding.

Excellent service in all aspects. Really impressed by their attention to detail and willingness to beyond the norm of what is expected.I received phone calls from their mechanic to address my concerns.Their knowledge and obvious expertise coupled with many years of experience can be counted on to take care of your needs.The customer service lady was very helpful with explanation of service and helped with competitive pricing coupled with military discounts and other money saving options.A great experience, excellent service and pricing....and of course am very pleased with their work

My husband and I went here due to me hitting a tire on the interstate knocking my splash guard loose. Kelle was very helpful when we came in; she offered us something to drink and told us if we needed anything to please let her know. We waited less than ten minutes, and the gentlemen who worked on our car came back with the keys ready to go. We appreciate their helpfulness, kindness, and fast service. It s difficult in these times to find a company that isn t just out to get your money but offers genuine help when needed.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The owner and the manager Kelly were amazing. I had never used them before but I needed to have my car towed locally for brake issues. They kept me informed (with texted pictures of damage) and were fast during the brake repair. They found several other separate issues and really worked with me when it came time to transport my car a second time to the warranteed location in Cleveland. After going to another name brand auto service for over a year now, I found myself so dissatisfied about their service that I was near tears. I decided that I would never use their services again. That's when I had decided to try Midas. I'm so glad I made that choice. They were very friendly and so helpful. The day I brought my 16 year old granddaughter's vehicle to them, I thought it just needed a simple brake job; we'd be in and out of there quickly, no problem. It turned out to be much more. It needed brakes (front and back), ball joints, and new tires. Jay at Brainerd, told us that we would have to leave it there because of all the work that needed done and the fact that it was too dangerous for her to drive off in it. As a matter of fact, he refused to let her drive away in her vehicle without it being fixed first because he was concerned with her safety. When I told him that I really didn't have anyone that was available at the moment to come pick us up, he said he would get his secretary Kelly, to drive us home. Great team, showed me and explained the issues with my vehicle. Told me I could wait a bit on my front brakes, which I appreciate the honesty. A different local business said I needed to replace everything without even looking at the vehicle. I will definitely bring my vehicle back to get the front brakes done and recommend to friends and family! Also told me about the military discount because of my license plate. Took my 4runner in for an all-around inspection and the folks there had me in and out fast. They brought me into the shop and showed me exactly what needed looking after and were very thorough. On an extremely hot summer day, I needed the air conditioner repaired in my red Jeep Cherokee. I was desperate and had been turned down by other shops. The courteous and helpful staff worked me into their packed schedule. It was not an easy fix but the staff persevered and I left cold with A/C. The price was more than fair. It was a great experience and I will definitely recommend this business to family and friends.Service: Air conditioning

Wow. I am impressed! After the passing of my father last May, I have been hesitant to take my car anywhere without getting taken advantage of. Todd and Jay did a wonderful job of fixing my car and being honest with me and giving me a fair price and a coupon. I could cry at how grateful I am that I found a great shop with kind people, I will be back in a few weeks for a few more repairs.

I appreciate y allI ve had 3 modifications done to my Q60 here in the past 9 months-ish (Sway bars, Axle back, High flow Cats)Each time they ve got me in and out same day I ve called with little to no issues on any of them and if anything did pop up they ve had full transparency Rates are what some may expect from a franchise location but you pay for quality work here.Financing with them has worked out well tooServices: Exhaust, Steering & suspension replacement

I took my car here to have Headlights installed because I didn't have time to do them myself. Originally the cost was supposed to be $66. I brought it in and after a full 24 hrs of waiting just for a 4 hr job, I got told it was going to be over $560!!!!. For freaking Headlights bulbs. I paid the cost, and went home to find out they didn't check their work at all, left my car with one headlight not working, and the bulbs I had them put in didn't work at all which they would have known if they would have checked. I called them and told them and was angrily told they did their job right and to bring it back in which I didn't because I don't trust someone who yells at you too not mess up your car. Totally insane business.

I was traveling for work in Chattanooga when my cars oil light suddenly went on. I was surprised as I had my car serviced prior to leaving on the trip. I saw the Midas shop on Brainerd Avenue and pulled in to see if they could diagnose the cause. Their service manager, Kelle Thompson, listened to my story then went to check my vehicle. She quickly had the problem resolved and I was ready to get back to work in short order. Her promptness, kindness, and knowledge had me back on the road in no time! While traveling through Chattanooga, towing our fifth wheel, we noticed a knocking in one of our tires. Of course it was Friday evening when we noticed the sound, so first thing Saturday morning we looked for someplace open to take a look. I called Midas and Kelle told me that although they were pretty busy, she understood our situation, so she said to stop over and they would at least take a look at what was going on. When we arrived, we explained that we had recently had the tires rotated in Warner Robins, GA. Jimmy immediately took the truck for a ride to listen for the knocking, got it up and started taking a look. He showed us what was happening, one of the lugs was loose from our tire rotation!! He did an inspection and showed us a couple other things that would need to be addressed soon, but made sure we were ok to head back out on the road. Took less than an hour and we weren't even charged for Jimmy's time! Can't say how much we appreciated their help. Kelle even made me a coffee while we waited. 5 star service for sure. Thank you both so much!

I brought an Acadia to the guys here at Midas on my cross country road trip for an inspection because the previous night it developed a knock of some sort. I was unsure of what I was dealing with but Jay knew instantly that it was an engine knock. He politely informed me of my serious issue and let me know they could not service it here. Jay treated me like family and recommended me an amazing shop a half mile down the road and they got me all settled. All the mechanics here are knowledgeable and dedicated, I definitely recommend this shop for any of their services!Services: Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

You all are such a blessing! My car was cutting off while driving and I headed in as soon I was able to crank it up. I was seen the same day to determine what was going on and had my vehicle back Saturday morning. Everyone was personable and when I did not have a way home, one of the mechanics, Jimmy, was so kind to take me home. Todd, the Assistant Manager picked me up the next day in my car so I could complete the transaction.In a day in age where people are generally quick to take your money but provide little to no service, Jay and his team have shown that there are still good people who also go above & beyond simply making money. Thanks to each and everyone of you .

I was so stressed about my vehicle today. My car s brakes sounded like they were scrubbing (all of a sudden) and I called a few places and they couldn t get me in. I called Midas and spoke to Jay and he told me to come on in and they ll take care of me. I felt like he could hear my panic over the phone. I dropped the car off in the morning and it was ready by the afternoon. To my surprise, it wasn t that the brakes was scrubbing but a really minor issue unrelated. There was no cost to me and they still completed the Midas Touch courtesy check where they check all your fluid levels. I am really so please because I just knew I was about to spend a lot of money. You can tell they really care about their customers. Many thanks to Jay and Kelle.

I was on my way from Iowa to Orlando for the Citrus Bowl game & my truck was making weird noises while pulling a trailer. Jay was able to figure out that my brakes were shot & was able to get them replaced & on our way. He & his staff made me feel really welcomed & almost like I was one of the locals! Pretty nice feeling when you're stuck in a new city! My hats off to him & his staff for a wonderful service they provide!Services: Electrical, Brakes

Went to dealership to have my 2021 nissan oil change. They informed me it was critical to have my brake fluids changed and it would be $200 after taxes and fees applied. I called Jay at Midas to inquire on their price for this service. He informed me that it didn t sound right that my car would require this service yet. He had me come by and tested the the corrosion level and showed me that my car was nowhere near in need of this so-called critical attention. Jay at Midas tells it to you straight and doesn t try to charge you for services you don t need. 5 stars! Trust the Midas touch! Service: General repairs & maintenance
