As a college student, I was coming from Knoxville, TN and had my car towed here. Great experience and they got my car fixed fast. Best auto shop in the area and they won t ripe you off when it comes to repairs. 10/10 experience!

My "Low Coolant" notice lit up on my dashboard yesterday so I dropped my truck off this morning before Maxi opened. Before I could get around to calling after they had opened, they had already called me. The radiator needed replacing. I asked if there was any way they would get around to today. With a laugh, Barry just said "Of course!" I got another call right before lunch break. It was ready to be picked up! Barry, Brian and the crew always exceed my expectations and they could not be friendlier about it. Thanks again, y'all! See you next time!

I have been going to Maxi since 2020. Steven has always been very fair and respectful, loved him. My experience last week has ruined all respect I had. Brian was very disrespectful and dismissive when I explained what was going on with my car. He quoted be $800 to fix the headlights on my Fusion. When I got my car to get a 2nd opinion, he let me know that's not how mechanics work and next time I would be charged. I know they're known for free estimates, but apparently not anymore. I got 2 more quotes on my car, both said what Maxi diagnosed with was incorrect. Maxi tried charging $800 but I got it fixed for $150. I don't like putting bad reviews, but if they did it to me, they'll do it to any other girl who doesn't know much about cars.

I've been to this shop multiple times and always had a great experience. Recently, I had trouble with my car and called down there and they couldn't see me right away. So I made the mistake of going to another shop down the road. They left me with a huge bill after sitting in the waiting room for over 3 hours and didn't even do the thing that I went there for.After a few days, I called Maxi and they got me in and out in less than an hour with a bill that was the amount I paid to NOT get it fixed.I won't make that mistake again.Go to Maxi the first time and save yourself a headache!

Maxi Auto saved my butt. Needed my skid plate repaired in order to continue my journey. They got me right in, charged me next to nothing and fixed the issue. Very accommodating and easy to work with. Highest recommendation.

My car started acting weird in the middle of nowhere in Alabama. We looked everywhere for someone who could change our rear shocks and all the shops we called were either too busy or couldn't get the parts. These guys were super nice! I dropped my keys in the garage door (once they were closed) so they can start early in the morning. What's more stressful than having car problems when you're 1150 miles away from home? I am so grateful they took the time to do this for me. A1 SERVICE!

Brian and Cole were very helpful. I have used this shop for about five years. Brian has been honest, candid, and addressed every problem. Recently a part needed replacement under warranty, and it was handled without any fuss. Previously the shop replaced the brake pads under the lifetime warranty without me even having to ask. Some others would have tried to slip that past the customer. This location of Maxi is my go-to.

Brian and the crew have been taking care of me and my bought used car since I got it. Good, reasonable rates. Communication on those rates. It's all you can ask for with the price of everything going up!

Best place to get service!! Needed air on my tires and the tech tells me to drive in and fills all the tires to the manufacturer pressure and did not want a tip!! Was the best service ever!!

We were having car troubles after stopping in Chattanooga for the night on our way home to Florida. They were extremely helpful and worked quickly to help us identify the issue. Jeff was incredibly helpful and started right away to remedy the problem and get us back on the road safely. It ended up that we had low oil and we were back on the road within and hour and half. We highly recommend!Service: Oil change

I have a Chevy 2500 HD with a 3 1/2 inch exhaust on it. I made arrangements for these guys to install an aftermarket flow-master muffler that I had ordered off Amazon. No surprises, they charged me the agreed upon price and I was able to wait for the work to be done. Brian and Jason were great!I had called multiple shops in town for quotes prior to swinging by this location on my way home from work, they are super busy but worked me in, a few days after my muffler came in.

Half way through a 1000 mile road trip my truck broke down unexpectedly. Brian was prompt and precise in his diagnostics. He was able to get the parts to their shop and replaced in a very quick manner. I'd highly recommend this shop solely on his professionalism and mechanical abilities. Driving from Chicago to Orlando our AC stopped working. We spent the night in Chattanooga and with a time crunch to get to Orlando that night, we took the car to Maxi that morning. They diagnosed the problem and took care of it within just over an hour...and for a very reasonable price!They were professional and helpful, and we were on our way with a working AC! Extremely pleased!

My car broke down outside of Chattanooga, and I had no idea what I was going to do. These guys took care of everything at a very fair and reasonable cost, and the work was SOLID. But most important, they gave me peace of mind while I was stranded in Chattanooga. They are the last of a dying breed: your hometown mechanics. If I am ever in the area and need work again, I will only come to them.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair

First and last time we will do business here. We just went because of the convenient location to home. My husband took my car for tire balance and rotation and to get my brake system checked out. They said it was going to be $1000+. I thought my husband was joking. They said my brakes were shot and they everything needed to be replaced. I called and told them to stop what they were doing and we took my car to a different shop (the usual one I go to that I trust). My service was $128 total and my brakes were in perfect condition and just needed a rotor rotation. I will NOT go back here.

I had swung by Publix to get a few things for my Airbnb, only to see that my tire was flat. I filled it back up and saw Maxi across the street. They were closing for the day, but said they would get me take care of me first thing in the morning. Rolled back in the next morning. They remembered me, got the car, fixed the tire, and sent me on my way. Turning a potential vacation disaster into a mild hiccup. Even though Brian and Jeff were clearly busy, the service was friendly and professional. If I m ever unfortunate enough to have car mishap in Chattanooga, I know where I ll be heading.

I took my Volvo because it had a strange noise when accelerating. Maxi ran a smoke test and said I needed a new crankcase valve to stop the noise. $371I paid and drove the car off the lot and the noise was even more pronounced. I called Maxi and they told me I now, in addition, needed a manifold repair ($1000+). When I asked why I paid for the crankcase valve they said you needed that too .

I called this morning and spoke to the GM Jason, explained what was concerning with my vehicle, and what I needed. He was super attentive on the phone and told me to come in straight away. I didn't even have an appointment & when I got there- they took my car back and started investigating. This only took about 20 minutes when Jason came out and showed me what was wrong and what things they could do toMake it better. The one thing that I can appreciate so much is how he didn't try to up-sale anything or force me to get something done. He was very professional, showed me pics from his phone that showed where my possible leak was, and explained what options I had to fix it. Everything was done and completed in a jiffy & could not be more thankful!Service: Transmission

We had the misfortune of having our transmission die while in Chattanooga and we were very pleased with the service we got from Maxi (Brian & Jason in particular) in terms of got it done as quickly as possible as well as done right the first time. The estimate was fair and the final bill was less than the estimate. I would recommend this shop to anyone that wants very professional mechanical services.Service: Transmission

I had the best experience at the maxi auto service center ! I was traveling through the state and had an issue with my car and not knowing what was wrong I called Maxi. Jason answered and took his time listening to me and helping me over the phone . He then offered to let me bring my car in so her could look it over for me and assure me it was safe to drive . Not only did he look my car over he also went out of his way to give me to give me helpful advice for the rest of my road trip. 10/10 recommend! Thank you Jason !

Was on a trip from Atlanta to Louisville when we noticed the roads all felt bumpy. We checked the tires, but none were flat or low. We happened to pull off near this place and the guys checked it out quickly, found one of the tires was only hanging on by one lug nut (the rest had somehow gotten loose). They tightened everything and ran a few more diagnostics to make sure there was not any more issues and got us back on the road. And they didn t charge us. Just great people with great service.

I recently needed a replacement tire and I called Maxi. I spoke with Jason who went above and beyond to look up information and assist me with finding the right tire for my vehicle. I appreciated that he was able to advise me without being pushy and/or attempting to see anything I didn't need. Will definitely be keeping them in mind for the future!Service: Tires

These guys saved me and my kids day! We were on vacation here and got a flat tire. I called them late afternoon and they did not have my tire in stock, but made sure to have one the next morning. Went in first thing next morning and they had us in and out in 30 minutes! A disaster turned into just a little blip for us thanks to their quick delivery and service!!!!Service: Auto tire replacement

I just moved to the area and was nervous to go to a random mechanic, but I saw Maxi was supposed to be quick so I came here. I was blown away by the customer service as well as the timely repairs. WOW!! I arrived early this morning with what I thought was a muffler problem because of the noise. Steven couldn't have been nicer, and offered to get my car up on the lift to inspect. A few minutes later, he came back in and said our muffler was fine; the air filter cover had worked itself loose. Sometimes, he said, it's a small thing that takes a few minutes to correct. AMAZING!! These guys are great.

Replaced my ignition coils with incorrect coils. Installed VERY used spark plugs. Lost 5 days of delivery work. Had to spend ANOTHER $550 at another shop.

Never use the one on broad Streetuse the one about 2 years ago in fort Oglethorpe never went back at quite a few tools stolen out of my RV that were inside. Did not notice to I went home and went to the back a bit of cobalt long speed metric and standard a small tool bag.

Steven was extremely helpful and friendly when fixing my car. He got my car in right away and told me how it was going to be fixed. Very reasonably priced and communicated with me the whole time even while I waited. 10/10 recommend for any and all type of work.
