Excellent service. I cannot say enough good things about the gentleman who checked us in when we arrived Tuesday, March 26th. We were a bit desperate to find a hotel that would accept both of our pups and not only did he allow me to book the room over the phone without giving him a credit card as I was driving, but made sure we were comfortable by giving us a room that would overlook the parking lot where we were having to park our trailer as we were moving. Really, really appreciate him going above and beyond to take care of us.

Way overpriced for quality. It s clean for the most part and safe but the rooms are PAPER THIN. If you have loud people beside you or above you good luck the breakfast is really good but they put all the plastic utensils facing UPWARDS so all utensils have been touched by random hands, I got sick after staying here. Also the bathroom sinks soap was body wash so bring your own soap. The bedding doesn t get changed if it can pass for clean I saw the housekeeper do this. Main concern with this hotel is cleanliness and noise.

This La Quinta could have easily gotten a 5 star review....but the poor service response ruined it. I travel across the nation for work and usually utilize La Quinta, however I will avoid this facility. The reason for the 1 star review is just the poor response service from management. Specifically their lack of response.I had an issue with my room, the shower did not work at all. Brought this to the General Manager via email and two phone calls with messages. He never responded. I had to complain to Wyndham Rewards just for a response and the response was a generic copy and paste "thank you for your feedback" type of message and didn't actually address my concern. The cost of the hotel (on this particular Saturday) was over $200 and I really expected better customer service.***Edit: In response to the reply to the owner stating I could have let the hotel staff know while I was there. Hate to break it to you...but I did that. As soon as I discovered the inoperable shower I alerted the front desk staff. Was told I needed to contact the general Manger. As noted above that went no where and I stand by my review.

No much we can complain about! My wife and I booked on the fly. We were traveling to Florida and found this gem for the night.Clean, easy to find right off of I- 24. From the check-in desk to finding our room, simple as ever.Bathrooms have soap, and are attached on the wall. Feel of staying in someone s home, with decor on the walls.Good free breakfast!Hard not to give a 5/5

The room I reserved here was kind of nasty. I paid over $200 for a night, the bathroom was moldy, smelled weird, there were hairs stuck on the doors and shower, uncleaned makeup stains on the bathroom counter, it was a mission to turn on the water in the shower (seemed stuck?), and the towels had holes in them.. the mattress had dark stains on it and you could see it through the sheets, and all of our bedding/sheets seemed unchanged and dirty, it had fresh yellow stains/ hair on it. I called the lobby for clean sheets and a blanket and they quickly brought to the room the thinnest, roughest blanket, and it also had holes in it. The area is decent and close to a lot of things, but if I would have known I would have paid extra to stay in a cleaner place. I would not recommend staying here.

The rooms were clean but our TV remote didn t work at all. Also there was no actual hand soap, just a bottle of body wash. Ironically the body wash in the shower was empty.Breakfast was not stocked very well?

As soon as I entered my room I noticed it had a weird smell something close to urine and maybe body odor. Then I found old food from the former guests in the room on the fridge, like the room hasn't even been checked to confirm it was clean obviously. I went down to speak with the guest service rep to see if he would do something about it and he made NO effort to resolve any issue. No apology for the inconvenience, no offer for a different room NOTHING. Just stared at me like how could I complain that my room wasn't clean all he said was "well the 4th floor girl is new"...however having worked in hospitality i know housekeeping management is suppose to check rooms to make sure they are clean, but for the ridiculous rate I am paying for this room for one night of $174 a night the room should have at least been clean!!!!!

The room was great. The location is great, especially if you re wanting to stay outside of the city while still visiting attractions. Chattanooga is a quick 6-10 minutes depending on which part of the city you re wanting to visit. We were only left with one complaint. The water was warm for 5 minutes in the evening, and that was it. For the rest of our stay (1 night thankfully) the water was cold.

The hotel was nice and clean. I saw the staff cleaning at random times during the day. The room cleaning staff removes the sheets and cleans them every day.The lobby is clean, modern and spacious with seats for relaxing or eating breakfast. The breakfast was better than expected. During the week, they had scrambled eggs, various breads, 3 types of cereal, yogurt, 3 types of juice, coffee, sausage, pancakes and SOS gravy. During the weekend, they add bacon to the selection. All was at the appropriate temperatures. The rooms were spacious (I reserved 2 types of rooms for family) and clean. The bathrooms were clean. The selection of soap, shampoo, conditioner & lotion was nice to see.The rooms had a microwave, coffee maker and mini fridge. The beds were comfortable and had 3 pillows each that were soft, yet firm. The only "issue" I had was that the hotel was by a truckstop and some of the trucks were loud. Other than that, we had a good 3 days stay there.Rooms: Clean, comfortable and spaciousNearby activities: Lots of attractions less than 15mins away is Ruby Falls, Rock City, Incline Railway, Aquarium etc...Food & drinks: Breakfast was good and better than expected. They also had an area that had a lot of popular snacks and drinks for sale.

The stay started off okay, the staff who checked us in were friendly. Upon checkout I realized I left my daughters things in the closet and when I called they said I could go get them, when I arrived 10 minutes after the call I suddenly was not allowed to retrieve the items. Now of course I can buy said items again but the whole thing felt funky and rude honestly. I d book again if it weren t for that part. Rooms were clean.

Not a bad place, the TV service constantly cut in and out for the 3 days we were there. My only real complaint was the older white woman with the red hair and glasses who was always at the front desk, she was a little sassy and rude. My wife asked for towels twice and she said, housekeeping left two hours ago and they didn't have any. She was rude about it. We are kind people and had to get a little snappy to finally get some. Other than that woman and the TV, it wasn't a terrible place. Hopefully the owner will talk to her and tell her to be more kind.

Overall the hotel was nice. The furniture in the room though was outdated, rundown and stained. The cleaning ladies did great everyday, making sure to clean and that we had what we needed. The lady at the front desk with reddish hair needs an attitude adjustment. After standing at the desk forever a lady cleaning saw me and went to get her, after a couple more minutes she finally comes out huffing and looks irritated. I asked for a printed receipt at check out and the printers down (which is fine she has no control over that) but when asked if she could email it to me she acted as if it's an inconvenience to do her job. Breakfast was not very good at all and barely put anything out. Location is great and close to many attractions. Would have given a higher rating but the front desk service was just poor. ( Not the very nice lady at night checking in! She was great)

Nice, clean stay. Our room included a small refrigerator and a microwave which wasn't advertised so that was a plus. Short drive to the aquarium and other local attractions. There's a Quick Trip gas station across the street that will easily accommodate larger vehicles. Boats, travel trailers, motorhomes, etc.Future visits to this area, we will likely stay here. Zero complaints.Rooms: Very clean, comfortable bed.Nearby activities: Downtown Chattanooga. Plenty to do.Food & drinks: Free breakfast 6-9am. Small snack shop beside front desk. Large gas station across the street.

We came here to stay two nights for a family funeral. We arrived around 9:00 pm. No friendly greeting. The nightshift person at the front desk was one of the most unwelcoming people I have ever encountered in a business. Both nights, she was apparently in a bad mood.Food was basic bad hotel food. Why they placed the utensils unwrapped and with the part that goes in your mouth as the part you had to grab to pull out of the cup that held them, I ll never know. It was so unsanitary. You could not grab one without touching the others. They use locked in soap, shampoo, conditioner dispensers in the shower and the sink area. We did not have soap in either. You cannot tell by looking at them that they are empty because they are opaque. So I had to take a shower with shampoo until I could get someone to fill them for me for the next shower. I asked the maid but she spoke no English at all. Neither did she understand English. There was one very helpful gentleman who was kind and helpful and spoke English. The day shift front office lady was kind as well.

My daughter left a doll in the room. We called with 3 hours of checking out when we realized it was missing. We were told housekeeping had been in there already and didn't turn it in. We called several times over the next couples days with no help. Never did we talk to house keeping, or a manager as far as I know. We were told they aren't responsible for lost items, I get that l, we left it, but it would be nice for some help when we know where our 6 year old left the doll. We just ordered another $100+ doll since this was a gift from Santa. Would've been nice to have been able to go back to the hotel and got it while we were there or have an option to shipThe doll back. Hope whoever at the hotel got the doll enjoys it as much as our daughter did. Never had a follow up without us calling, and when I emailed la Quinta on Facebook they told me that the hotel would contact me back. They didn't. Last time we stay at a la Quinta.

I haven t given any hotels 5 stars yet, because there is always something or someone to knit pick. Front lobby and lounging area is very spacious, very clean and plenty of social room. Coffee options 24/7. However, rooms were very clean and bathroom stocked. Hotel provided toiletries were all Dove products, which was refreshing. Shower head was adjustable and actually drained water like normal! It s a toss up at some hotels with slow draining. Breakfast is 6-9a, and it was delicious. Hot and cold varieties. Washer and dryer on site, affordable price ($2) and clean units. Located directly off the interstate and across from a store. Makes for quick travels.

Do not stay here. Unprofessional front desk worker, incompetent maintenance man, and completely unresponsive general manager. (Ruth, Dwayne, & John)Back in December my mom and I stayed at this hotel on our way back from Florida where I underwent a major surgery. The next morning we went down to breakfast so I could take my pain medication and antibiotics. Upon finishing breakfast and returning to our room (#404), we were locked out.We went downstairs to notify the front desk worker, Ruth, about our key not working and the first thing she said was everything that can go wrong today is going wrong today . Not a single bit of empathy for our situation, not an apology for the inconvenience, just immediately went to an attitude. She proceeded to call numerous staff members to get them to try to change the batteries in the door. She proceeded to scream at them all over the phone. My mom, and an eight year old boy who was there with his mom as she worked her shift in housekeeping, had to swap the batteries out. That s two people who DO NOT WORK THERE had to attempt to resolve the issue. It didn t work. After about 1.5 hours, the maintenance man, Dwayne, finally arrived. He attempted to change the batteries but no luck. Ruth contacted John (GM) and he advised there was a device that could unlock the door. Both Dwayne (who didn t even plug the device into the door..) and my mom (who again, doesn t work there) attempted to use the device to get the door unlocked and nothing worked. The GMs next move was to have us wait another 3 hours until he could arrive around 1pm to try to get the door open. We would have been waiting in the lobby for a total of 5 hours if we had done this route. Instead my mom called the fire department (pictured). Meanwhile, I was approaching 10 hours without my medication since I needed to have jt with breakfast.Ruth refused to allow the fire department to enter the room unless they could do so without damage. They had to leave and come back with other tools to attempt to get us into the room. After a total of 3 hours in the lobby, in pain and without my medication, the fire department finally got into the room. Again, my mom had to call them because no one at the hotel was competent enough or willing to resolve the issue themselves.Once the reservation posted to my credit card, I reached out to the hotel in to request a refund for my stay. When Ruth realized it was me, she sighed heavily and told me to email the GM and provided me with his email. I reached out requesting a refund for my stay and explained why I believed it to be necessary and he hasn t responded at all. After 3 weeks of no response, I sent a follow up email that has also been ignored. So again, do not stay here.

The front desk ladies when we checked in were fairly nice. Didn t have much interaction with them other than handing off the room keys at check out.Breakfast was severely lacking. Only one machine for pancakes, was always a line because it takes forever. The other options were severely lacking and didn t taste good.It s great that the TV had Netflix, but wifi was so slow and lagging that I couldn t even use it.The absolute worse part of this stay was how loud everything was. The walls are so thin, I can hear every little thing happening in the hallways and the other rooms. So much banging and yelling in other rooms that you can t tune out because it s so loud. The bathroom toilet had some weird mold stain down in the bottom, but still visible. The shower is really weird that you have to use an on and off switch for better water pressure.

The front desk staff seemed poorly trained. We felt like we were being interrogated at check in. The next day we checked about extending our stay and the front desk told me she was busy and to come back. Again we felt like we were imposing on them. When we asked for towels she said go find the housekeeping down the hall. Love the room but not impressed with staff.

We stayed on January 13..Saturday night. I feel it was over priced. It is not a budget hotel. It was 113 for the night plus taxes and dog fee. The bed was clean. Comfortable. The room had 2 chairs. One was soiled and the second needed to.be replaced. There was a list of fees for each item in the room. I guess people steal things. I also signed a form that I would pay if there was dog fur on the furniture. I took pix of the soiled chair in case I got a bill for the stains. It was close to expwy. Easy on and off.The toilet was for a midget. The breakfast was sparse. There was garbage in the grass ....food...chicken parts and rice. I picked up some of the chicken. Told front desk and was told high winds caused the garbage and there was no one to help them clean it.There is a pet run...nice touch. But no poop bags. I paid a 25.00 pet fee...luckily I had bags. But some folks didn't and there was alot of poopThe woman at the desk was nice. I think this laquinta is not maintained. It needs some love and was not a budget hotel. I've stayed at other laquinta properties. This one is not the same standard. I won't stay here again. On the 14th we stayed at the Drury in Louisville and was priced in the same range 113 per night. It was like I was at the 4 seasons After the laquinta experience...and yes I have stayed at the 4 seasons.I am saddened that the laquinta was so distressed. The management could do better. This property is over priced and needs updating.Rooms: Clean but needs updatimgFood & drinks: The coffee was old and the only fresh fruit was old apples

Overall the location and room quality was great. There is a hole in the shower that they covered up with duct tape but otherwise great. The only issue I had was with check in. The woman at the front desk wasn't wearing a name tag but she had glasses and died hair. We walked in and were not greeted and had to ask for service as she stared directly at us from 3 feet away. Strange. The first thing she said after we asked for service was that we have to pay a $25 fee for early check in despite having a reservation for the previous night (travel issues). The whole interaction was very uncomfortable. More or less felt like we were inconveniencing their employee for something very simple and necessary.

La Quinta is just another money grabbing corp. Where they used to lets stay free, it is now a $25 per pet charge. In a room with 2 people, they leave 2 towels and 1 coffee pod. Not 1 coffee pod per person, they leave 1 coffee pod per 2 people. I used to stay almost exclusively at La Quintas. Now, I look elsewhere and only stay when I don't have a choice. So disappointing how their service and value has now dropped to Motel 6 levels. Charge as much as you can without any of the value La Quinta previously was know for.

Desk clerk was very rude. We were locked out of our room for 3 hours do to faulty door mechanism. No one knew how to get it open and we had to call the local fire dept because my daughters prescription medication was locked inside. We have tried to contact the general manager and the corporate office about the issue but no one will respond! AVOID!!!

I've stayed at this hotel a few times when travelling. The rooms are clean, even the pet-friendly rooms. Since I know this hotel is fine, I always book it when travelling through the area with my pet because it's a safe bet. During my most recent stay, the lady at the front desk on the morning of 9/26/2023 was very nice. Wifi is good (had a Zoom meeting that morning, and the connection was fine), breakfast is free, and the rooms are comfortable. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's great for what it is.

The front desk agent upon check-in was extremely rude and welcoming was too busy carrying on with his own personal conversation and made us feel as if we were disturbing him by checking into the hotel when I ask questions his responses were short and full of attitude, and just wanted to rush us out of the front lobby. The experience in the morning when trying to report the lack of service tonight before the lady with the purplish red hair was no more of a the guy at night she began to take notes and began to stop writing and through the sticky in the garbage and replied with unfortunately it is what it is. Also to add there was garbage on all the floors. Trash cans appears if someone had vomited on them liquid running down the side.Noteworthy details: Hotel staff are extremely rude and unwelcoming
