Absolutely the BEST garage I have ever been to. They were slammed busy, my husband and I were traveling and started having mechanical trouble with our Jeep Wrangler. Andrew was so professional and took good care of us. If I could give them a thousand stars I would. If you need a great garage you have found it.

Mr. Shipley was very honest and up front about pricing. He didn't try to upsell me on anything. When my ball joint went out, he informed me the part was still under warranty from the manufacturer, and didn't charge me to replace it. That is rare in the garage business. 5

They took such good care of me and my jeep. They were even kind enough to give me a ride home and pick me up when the jeep was done so i didn't have to sit in the shop on a cold day when my car broke down the day before Thanksgiving . These guys are the real deal , fair and genuine.

As always, J R. Shipley's was great, now the mechanics talks about my old azz car, but when they had a chance to do some fake work to it and me not know any better, they didn't. In fact they informed me that my old azz car was just old and doing the best it could do, love the place. You want to be treated fairly, go there.

This is a great car shop! They men are all so friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. Being a woman it can be intimidating finding a trusted mechanic who won t take advantage of you. They could have easily sold me all new tires and I would have believed I needed them. They rotated my fronts to the back and I only needed two tires! I frequent there for holes in my tires, they see me quickly and plug them when needed and check and let me know when I ll need new ones. I can t say enough good things about JR and his awesome mechanics! Quick, fair, honest, and trustworthy!

Great service. I had a nail in my tire and they removed it and plugged it. I was in and out in 10 minutes. No issues. They fixed the tire quicker than most places could have entered your information into their computer system.

I've been here twice to have slow leaks filled. Terry took care of me both times, found the nail right away, pulled the nail, plugged the leak and got me back on the road. Reasonable prices.

thank you so much!! Darrel helped me he was super friendly and showed he cared! i wasnt able to drive my car nov 23rd till nov 28th (today) because my car required special lug nuts to take tire off and i caught a flat! i got my car towed to him after speaking on the phone with Darrel asking if he could do it after explaining my situation so after 4 different stores and 3-4 tools and tool kits trying to find mine around chattanooga.Darrel looked through each lug nut remover they had at the shop and gave me hope after about 10-15 didnt fit he finally found the correct one and changed my tire less than 8 minutes, the tire was a good price! thank you! good shop and good people

Excellent! I was having an issue with my heating system and was recommended to JR Shipleys. After I called they were able to fit me in and helped me right away! They were very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable!!!!

JR gave me an unbelievable deal on getting my radiator and battery replaced! It was about half of what I expected to pay and they finished it in the same day! Unbelievable customer experience with these guys. Very professional prompt, punctual, and they treat you like family.

I must mention that if you want to go to a completely honest place without having the fear of getting ripped off, then this is the first place you can feel completely safe in going to. Plus the service is great and the prices are very good compared to other places. You will NEVER be sorry you let them do any work on your vehicle. They are completely honest and their prices are very reasonable.

Honest, very fair price, and did great work with diligence. I called around and these guys were the best price. While doing the work that I asked for they discovered that the rear rotors actually don't need to be replaced. They put customer service and honesty above their raw sales, and it is going to bring in more sales from me at least. Beyond their honesty, they give great service, and have great communication as well. I am very pleased and will absolutely be returning.

These guys did a great job! Friendly and down to earth staff and owner! Pulled my truck in immediately upon arrival and had my new rotors and brakes put on for me in about 30 mins. Highly recommend them for price and quick service. They work as a team to complete their job and it is awesome that they treat people like people and offer fair honest prices! A++

When I pulled in the lot with my slow leak and saw all the cars I thought I was in for a long wait. But they took my car right away and in 5 minutes I was ready to leave. They were so nice and friendly. They definitely know their stuff and do a great job. For tire concerns this is the only place to go in my book.

This place saved me in a pinch. I didn't have enough money to get a replacement and no one else would even think of repairing my tire. They gave me a quick patch to get me home at least without any hassle.

Fabulous Customer Service. Fair Pricing. Speedy Service. "Cheerio" at Cummins Hwy location is absolutely 5 star and his dad and others at East Brainerd location are top notch too. As an Uber driver with nearly 9000 rides and the need for immediate excellent service, they are my go-to tire guys in all situations. Without fail, they are johnny-on-the-spot and I cannot praise them enough.

Had front end alignment and an oil change done today using fully synthetic oil. My total was $112. They were fantastic. Other places told me they couldn t get to it today, but here they were on it immediately. I will return for their services in the future. They told me they also have a newer location that opened on Cummings Highway that will provide the same alignment service this summer. I look forward to going to that location since it s much closer for me. Highly recommended!

We stopped in Chattanooga on our way to Florida. The morning we were heading to the beach, I woke up to a flat front tire. We were towed to JR Shipley's. Cherio and his partner were beyond excellent. Within 5 minutes my tire was off and being replaced. These two guys saved my family vacation, and I was back on the road within minutes. To say "we fixed flats" is a complete understatement. This business is honest and trustworthy. It is awesome to know there are still honest service first folks in the middle of America. I can't say enough good things about the 2 men that treated me like I was family. The service was as fast as a NASCAR pitstop. Don't hesitate, stop there and say hello!

Walked in and waited, and waited, and waited. Nobody came to the front desk to get my car checked in. Not sure what happened but the time I waited was all it took to drive up to Blackwell and have the tire patched and on my way. A previous job they did took forever as well. If you have nothing else to do and don't mind waiting all day their fine I guess. Meanwhile places with more work are still able to get you in and out in no time. As a customer what reason is there for me to choose Shipleys?

MOST HONEST IN TENNESSEEI brought my car with a MAJOR OIL LEAK, and in 24 hours, they said it was fixed... $16.95 part.they COULD HAVE told me it was ANYTHING and i would have paid it.. but they said it was a "stupid little switch" that failed...Fixed... and HAPPY!I'm 100% loyal to JR SHIPLEY's

Best experience ever getting a used tire! They go the extra mile without anyone asking, they do not overcharge, and they are extremely nice people! This is the place you want to go!! 10 stars!!

Their main mechanic, Andrew, is not trustworthy. I went in a couple of months ago for a new starter. He saw that my radiator hose was leaking. I asked him to get me a price. So I waited in the waiting room. He never got me a price, just decided to fix it without asking and charged me for it. Costed me an extra couple hundred dollars, which I didn t have. Went in a second time for a different issue recently. He told me I needed a new catalytic converter and sent me on my way because he said he couldn t do it. Long story short. The issue had nothing to do with the catalytic converter.
