Staff is extremely helpful and respectful. I ve been using foresters for about a year and a half and could not be more happy with the results I ve gotten. Extremely knowledgeable and fairly priced. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.

This place is awesome and easy to work with Jarrod and Doug can do it all. I highly recommend them best place in Hixson by far. It feels good to be treated as if your business actually matters versus just being another number!!!

Update: The owner refunded half of my service costs. At first, he said he wouldn't refund me because of the honest review I left. After I gave 5 stars, he said he would give me half back if I didn't leave another bad review. . . This was my first experience with a visibly angry owner & it was very unsettling to see him shaking out of anger. I shpuld have paid with a credit card & just let them handle my dispute. But, the owner said they offered cash discounts, so it is partially my fault for not thinking ahead to a potential issues like this.I should have read the other bad reviews on here before having it towed here.Forrester s diagnosed my car that wouldn't start, they replaced a $6.99 spark plug & charged me $134 for diagnostic/labor.I picked up my car as they were closing for the day. They had just left as I was turning on my car to find the check engine light was still on. I drove the car & broke down in the middle of the lane after about 5 miles of driving. The clutch wasnt working & my car wouldn't move at all.When I called to let the owner know what had happened he said it was possibly because they forgot to clear the codes & that I could bring it back in but they might not be able to get to it for a few days.I took it to Ford because I needed my car asap. After they read the codes read & it was actually the TCM that needed to be replaced. Ford told me that Forester's proposed solution of clearing the codes wouldn't have fixed anything, which is correct because I asked Ford to humor me & try it out. Needless to say I feel completely taken advantage of. The owner said he would give me back money if they did more work, which would have costed me more money. So, it didn't really make sense for me to risk them not fixing my car for a second time. Seemed like a bait & switch tactic to me.

Jared and Doug have always taken care of all of my vehicle needs. They slot me in their schedule when is convenient for me and are always courteous. Highly recommend. I don't take my truck anywhere else!

New to Chattanooga, did not think I d ever find an auto shop as good as the one I went to in Florida. As I drove by this place often, it appeared that they always kept their shop nice and clean, so I gave them a shot. Been there a couple of times now. They were efficient, honest, and reasonably priced. I don t think you can go wrong with these guys.

We've been customers at Forester's for the last 6 months after living in Chattanooga for the last 2 years of which time we have been searching for knowledgeable and honest auto mechanics. We've used several and have been dissatisfied with them all until finding Forester's. They have gone above and beyond for us and have been the first guys to locate and fix the issue with one of our cars. They are so informed and could always clearly answer any questions we had, very affordable, kind and professional, and always made repairs in a timely manner. We are beyond thankful to have found Forester's! The search is over!!

These guys know I have a Ford Explorer and love me anyways! They keep me on the road and take the time to do thorough diagnostics that keep my fourteen year old car on the road. Jarrod goes out of his way to take care of my car needs, and works with walk-ins and appointments. If you want an honest family guy working in your car, this is him

Forester's Tire & Auto Repair is a must if your vehicle needs service. If you want honest and trustworthy people working on your vehicle at affordable pricing, then look no further. It's nice being able to take my vehicle somewhere that I know I can trust. These guys are awesome!

My daughter is a student at UTC and works next door to this shop .She came to work this morning with a bad antifreeze leak .Her boss recommended them . Bad radiator. She was coming home to Knoxville for the weekend after work . Long story short ... very nice ..very quick ..very fair .. gentleman i talked to on the phone was straight forward with me but what really got me was he gave her his card and assured her if she had any future problems to call anytime and he would assist in any possible way. This meant alot to me and my wife .A++++ Thank you!

Best car repair experience ever. Very honest and trustworthy guys. Had the chance to charge me over 300 dollars extra for calipers and decided they weren't the problem. I feel like almost all other shops would have taken the chance to upcharge the repair. Literally half the price of budget brakes a mile down the road. Highly recommended.

Within a three year period I had work done on two vehicles. I took them to several National service centers, four local privately owned businesses and some "specialty" shops. In all instances the work was either done poorly and had to be done again (back into the shop for days) or thousands of dollars were spent for work that was NOT done. (silicone sealant instead of gaskets replaced as quoted etc. etc.) The excuses/apologies were a testament to the disrespect of the customer and poor regard for work ethic.In contract and in every instance Foresters proved to be an honest, ethical and extremely knowledgeable team. Over a two year period they have done brakes, rotors, repaired and replaced a transmission, a rear end and axels. Universal joints, Ball Joints Timing belts and chains, head and exhaust gaskets, radiators and hoses, solved various electrical issues, and I could go on. What is important is that they "diagnose" the problem correctly and actually FIX the problem. I cannot emphasize this strongly enough.I am writing this because the folks at Forrester's have become friends. They took ownership of my automobiles and always took care of me.I have been around Nascar and mechanics since their beginnings before moving to Tennessee a decade ago. Those mechanics have nothing on Doug at Foresters. Take your car in to Foresters and you will be amazed at the knowledge and ability that comes out of the service bay at this little business on Hixson Pike.

Best place around. Trustworthy people who know what their doing and give good prices. I got wheels for my truck here and had some headers fixed and these guys where super professional give them A++++

Brought my car here on a recommendation & I would never come back. Had to return twice in less than a month & was charged over $1,000 to be told that my car was totaled. I only dealt directly with the owner but he was rude, unreliable, and incompetent. Definitely feel cheated.

Excellent service. The owner is courteous and knowledgeable. Was able to fix my girlfriends car timely and at a very affordable rate. I would recommend for anyone looking to service or repairs their car.

Great customer service and even better truck service (2004 Nissan Titan)! If you are like me and your luck has it that when you go into a shop to explain your non-mechanical Cole Trickle problems then it may not all makes sense. Harry - FORESTER - in this movie brought back my truck's Days of Thunder! Highly recommended!
