They have some of the most comfortable beds of any hotel I ve stayed at. Nice view of the mountains. Very friendly service! This is going to seem like a weird thing to put in a review, but the complimentary shampoo and conditioner they have for the guests is probably the best thing I ve ever put in my hair at a hotel, so if you forgot your shampoo and conditioner, have no fear!

I had out of town guests that wanted to go to Ruby Falls so I booked a Suite with Fairfield which included two queen sized beds and a living room area with a sofa bed and extra TV. I also requested an early check in. We arrived at 1:30 to be told the room was still dirty . We went to the store for a few snacks and shopped around a little and arrived back at the hotel at 3:05. We were being checked in and the lady at the front desk asked if we were notified (which we were not) that our room was downgraded to a double from a suite due to overbooking. She then proceeded to tell me that the room had been discounted (we shall see upon checkout) and a cot was rolled in. I guess they thought that a cot would make everything better. The lack of communication with this error is unacceptable. If we had known beforehand, we could have made different arrangements. We did call other hotels in the area and there were no rooms available. The lobby and elevators were extremely hot, it was actually cooler outside. The whole point of booking the suite was for the living room area as there three of us and needed the extra space. Do yourself a favor and call ahead to make sure you are getting what you reserved. It s going to be a long two days in this cramped room.

The front desk lady who checked us in on March 1st, 2024 around 8.20PM was the rudest. She was sucking on a lollipop and I could barely understand what she said because of that. All she did was handed the keys and said you are good to go. No other information, when I asked her for more details she sounded like I made a big mistake asking her the questions. The next day morning breakfast was supposed to be till 10 AM but they were is a hurry and started taking everything down at 9.50AM. They started yelling at 9.45 that they will close in 5 minutes. I have never seen such things in a hotel before. Because of the poor customer service, we will not return.

I just want to say that Scott Shepard as a Dual General Manger was very unhelpful. His customer service towards me was awful. The reason for my complaint is the way I was treated. Overall, He said that a new policy was implemented towards Friends and Family. Which I completely understand that. The way he handled it was very just very inappropriate. He even rushed me off the phone and said I am running out the door. If you needed that done you should of said it early (in a rude tone).-Paul Williams

We stayed at this hotel on the night at Dec 3rd in order to see the Christmas lights at Rock City. The rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfortable so it was a pleasant trip. The front desk personnel were excellent. The breakfast items were limited however the quiche and the bacon were quite tasty and we all enjoyed it. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area..Veronica HappelNearby activities: Easy to get to Rock City and there were plenty of restaurants nearby.Safety: The rooms were quiet and we all felt safe.

Staff and cleanliness were great however the road noise at night made sleeping difficult. Air conditioner, ear plugs were not enough. Had to download white noise app on cell phone at 3am !Rooms: Very clean and the bed was very comfortable.

The worst and most unprofessional guest service of any hotel ever. Just dropped off a guest staying here and Fire lanes blocked by flatbed trucks, commercial trucks parked as obstacles to safe enter and exit of the front entrance and handicapped parking. Front desk informed about issues and unable and unwilling to resolve a known safety hazard for all hotel guests. Unacceptable.

This was a really nice Fairfield, but at breakfast it was packed. They couldn't keep up either. They ran out of bacon and there was no eggs. There was a line at the waffle maker. There was a line at the coffee. Then a line at the cereal area too. It was crazy. We had cereal and coffee and left to free up our table for other people. There were not enough seats for the crowd of people. There were families sitting in the lobby area because there were not enough tables. We won't stay here again.

I had a great experience overall and the reception when I arrived from Bailey was wonderful! I would give this 4.5 stars but I can t on google maps-the reason four this is that the breakfast was disappointing and virtually all carbs! Even the souffl was more muffin than souffl! There were hard boiled eggs and premade breakfast sandwiches-that was it! Thankfully I never rely on the hotels complimentary breakfast but if my husband was here I think he would have been very disappointed-otherwise the stay was wonderful :)

I loved the location on the west side of town and was looking forward to mountain views during our stay. We were very disappointed to get a view of the back of the hotel's carport roof. TV (1 of 2) in the bedroom also didn't work but the one in the seating area did. A rate refund of $50 was promised but never happened even after a follow up at checkout. A disappointing experience with customer service but a decient room. I will be making frequent trips to the area over the next year or so and am on the fence about giving this Fairfield Inn another go.EDIT: After my wife contacted corporate and again the hotel management, she was assured my cc would be credited the promised amount. It never happened. I am a Bonvoy member and usually use exclusively Marriott properties, but will have to avoid this one on the future.

Hotel was clean, room was what you would expect. Downside to staying here is the parking lot is terrible. There are 2 hotels side by side and if you get there after going out into the town or Ruby Falls expect to park in the back lot of the OTHER hotel as the spots are full.

One of the beat places we've stayed! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, nicely sized. Restaurants right across the road and a great breakfast. Close to downtown and the aquarium and about 15 minutes to Rock City. Just great. Ziggy checked us in and he was super nice. Oh, what a great view too! Kinda unique for a chain hotel to have a great view.

We checked in right after 3pm and Ziggy was very nice and informative. Check in was super quick and easy. There was plenty of parking but after 9 pm it was pretty crowded. The room was average but very clean and spacious. No mold or smoke smells and the bed was excellent. There was no sausage or fruit options for breakfast but the waffles were decent and the area was well kept to accommodate the heavy crowd. The storm that came in was pretty scary but we just got comfortable with snacks and it felt like home. We also stayed in downtown Chattanooga during our trip but we would stay here again instead.

I travel a lot for work and this is probably the smallest room I've ever stayed in. We had to move the television to the top of the microwave in order to make room for our two suitcases and I ran into the wall on the way to the bathroom the first night because there is so little room between the corner and the dresser. The pillows smelled bad (musty or not clean) and I asked for them to be changed while I was at work the second day but the room hadn't been touched when I returned so I had to ask again. We stayed for three nights because work was too busy to allow for a move to another hotel. We were woken by road noise and/or the trash truck every night. I rarely leave poor hotel reviews but would not stay here again and would not recommend. However, the staff were very friendly.

Clean place to stay. Reasonably pricedMy only concern. There was no remote for the TV which we didn t need. I stopped at the front desk to let them know so we wouldn t be charged. There was no one available. I waited a bit & finally went to the breakfast bar staff. She was very friendly & helpful.

Location was difficult to find in the dark even using our maps app. Room smelled like smoke but was fine other than that. Having said that however, the staff went above and beyond in order to accommodate parking for our 26 foot uhaul plus a trailer with a car. We called ahead and they blocked off a spot for us with the cones and came out to assist as soon as we pulled up! We def appreciated the staff going the extra mile for us after a long days drive.

My stay started with Daisy greeting me. Please hire more staff like Daisy! She is so sweet and helpful. Professional, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. Daisy made the stay start off great! Thank you! My room had a beautiful view, but there was some mildew in the bathroom and something icky on the night table. The bed was so comfy! The location was perfect. Parking was easy and plentiful. It was a short overnight stay for me, so i didn't get to utilize the amenities, but overall I'm happy with my stay. Breakfast was good.

Conveniently located close to all attractions. Nicely maintained property with a welcoming staff. Our room was as you would expect clean and orderly. Breakfast was well stocked with plenty of items even though the hotel was very busy. Will rebook here when we return to the area.Nearby activities: Close to everything.

Pleasant staff. Desk check-in was pleasant and helpful last night, Dec 7, 2022. We came in without a reservation. He was helpful and got us the senior discount. Room was fine, just too warm. Breakfast was fully stocked and staff was friendly. Hotel was 13 yrs old but has been updated and clean. Great quiet location with a good view!Rooms: Room was clean, bed comfortable. Only issue was controlling the heat. Too warm!Food & drinks: Complimentary breakfast was well stocked and ample. Thanks!

I receive no email confirmation. They wouldn t answer the phone so I couldn t verify they had a room. I got here and they finally found my reservation. I get to my room and my TV don t work. I asked for another room, they give me batteries for the remote control. Guess what? The remote control has a screw in the back of it. Apparently somebody likes to steal their batteries. I called the front desk three times in the last half hour. It goes to a voicemail that talks so fast. It sounds like one of those financing commercials. I won t waste my time here again.
