I took my 1996 Chevrolet Suburban in around the beginning of January '24 for a complete repaint in the factory color. The original paint was badly oxidized and clear coat was peeling on the hood and the roof.I originally dropped it on a Monday and picked it up on Saturday after hours. The paint looked ok, but there were some major runs under the windows and some large spots with a bad orange peel texture.I went back the next Monday and spoke with the manager Nate, expressed my concerns, and showed him the spots in question. He told me to wait 3 weeks for the paint to completely cure, then bring it back for repairs.I dropped it off for the second time around the beginning of February. I checked back a week later and Nate explained that they were still having issues getting the paint to lay right, but they would continue working on it til it was right. It took them another 2 weeks to get it right, but it looks great now. They did a wonderful job correcting the issues. Nate told me that they had to strip most of the truck down to bare metal a primer it to get the paint right. It ended up being a very labor intensive and much more in depth job than what I paid for, but Nate did not charge me a single penny beyond the initial agreed upon price.Yes, there are a couple little spots of over spray. And yes, enamel paint will never look like a factory acrylic base/clear paint job. But I am extremely pleased with the final product, especially at the price point. And I was pleasantly surprised at the willingness to go above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I would recommend Econo to any one.

I was really impressed by their work. They told me up front they wasn't a perfectionist shop but my Camaro looked really good when they finished. They were really quick too. They said they would have it done in 2 days after I could drop it off and they did. They have 3 different packages to pick from. I pick their highest one which was still a really great price. I would highly recommend or use the again!

Currently requested BBB to step in with the repeated mess they keep making. After 5 times they have made things worse, example: tires, rims and steering wheel painted..etc..! Will show pictures and videos if need be after BBB and this companies decision..... update: said they would repaint. For the 5th or 6th time? Small taste of their last "paint" job...will update again on new "offer" they give and more photos and video if need be. Edit: they apparently refuse to remedy the situation with BBB, I filed a complaint with a much higher entity. PLEASE beware of this place, really look at your car if you use them. Otherwise there's a maaco in town. Local government uses them. Paint is chipping off again., pin striping is coming off now.

Edit as of April 2021! Returned with my 96 cobra after I had a front end collision. 1 week before a car show. Derek on the phone was more than accommodating and did exactly what I asked, got my car ready for a show in less than a week. I could not be happier. Sure the car had some slight over taping, only for me to be met with a full bottle of touch up paint and a complete work guarantee. I will return with any vehicle of mine, especially on a time crunch!June 2020Friendly service. Great appraisal. Down to earth and more than willing to help you along. Will return for all my other auto projects when paint and body is concerned. Talk to Patrick!

Warning!!!! The manager of Econo Auto painting Pete Lachapelle painted my car in an atrocious manner. I told him it was unacceptable and he promised to repaint it. Days passed and he never called me back so I went to see if my car was okay. I get there and notice my car was in the same spot that I had left it at and wasn't even repainted. I entered the office to talk to the manager. and all he did was tell me that he refusus to repaint my car and handed me the keys and told me to get lost. I had to call the cops and file a report. Pete Lachapelle is a very dishonest person with no ethics and very poor education. It was a horrible experience and it's sad that these types of people are allowed to operate a business like this. It was a total waste of $550. Definitely I will in court.

This is a late review - I took my car there a little over a year ago 2022 to get the front bumper resprayed. I told them i wanted it the same color. When i picked up the bumper i did look good. Ill give it that much. However they did ZERO prep work. They did not even sand the clear coat to respray. I only found out about this when i put tape on the bumper a year later and the paint peeled right off showing the shiny original clear coat underneath. Im very disappointed and i wish i never took my car there. Question to the owner. Is this common practice just to paint over the clear coat with out sanding it? This is just cutting corners.

Had to take my truck back four times they just couldn't get it right missed some requested body work several times it looks alright this last time from about 15ft but the orange peel in some places is awful almost like a thumb print in one place it's so bad you can't even wait 2 months and try to polish it out like I was planning on doing anyways and the runs down the back aren't great even if they could make it right I don't know if I would want to take it back a fifth time just to be disappointed again the third time they painted it and they did actually a decent job but they didn't do the Bodywork this time they painted it it looks good but the orange peel is way worse in some places than others not happy and I spent way more then just 800 bucks to say the least but at the same time I guess you get what you pay for definitely just worth saving the money and getting a quality job done definitely if you're trying to get a project painted something you put a lot of time and money into and I've been super patient and understanding with them and i paid extra honestly not a good experience they're quick to take it back and try to fix it but they'll fix one thing and something else will look worse

They did a FANTASTIC job on my car! I've had 5 bumpers, 2 hoods & a BUNCH of paint jobs over 20 years multiple cars & a jeep. I am always super satisfied! They're professional & the prices are unbeatable. The paint team leader, James, ROCKS!

The nicest manager at this location was Derrick. Had issues with the first paint job and had to bring it back for a re-paint the following week. But it was done better the 2nd time. I appreciate Derrick s communication through the process. Being in the service industry myself (who loves to refer people) I m hesitant only because of the customer service I received from other staff. But besides all of that, you never know who you are serving as a customer so it s important to treat everyone how you would want to be treated.

Never again will this place get my business. Took my car to get painted. They painted it didn't sand it painted it the wrong color. They rescheduled me for a month later which I took back it's been sitting for 2 weeks the guy lied 3 times even had me come a hr away to get lies to . I ask the GM or district manager for a refund he didn't want to talk about that tho. Bad business overall never again will they get my business

My car was plastidipped and had remnants of residue from it and the stuff I used trying to remove it covered all over. They took it and it came out wonderful, however they did forget to do a little body work but sorted it out soon after. Next paint job is coming here for me

Unfortunately this review must be left. I ve been in contact with this shop since last Thursday, September 10,2021. I inquired on services, I asked If it was possible for me to email the work I needed done. The person I spoke to ( who never provided me their name) advised that would be fine. He provided me with his email to send the pictures to. Friday comes, and a response wasn t received. I called today Monday, September 13, 2021 to follow up. I was then advise that my email was received without pictures. I I apologized for any hiccup on my part. I wondered why I didn t receive a follow email the following day explaining that.I let him know I was resending the email at the moment. I followed up sometime later. Then was advised the email was not received yet. I checked my outgoing emails and confirmed that my email was sent. I waited some time (a few hours) and followed up again via phone. No response from the shop was received. My situation has been handled not very professionally. I believe they lack the business mind. To communicate properly. Throughout this whole ordeal, I have yet to receive a follow-up email to my inquiry. When I spoke to someone earlier they didn t even put me on hold. I heard conversations that I should not have been able to hear. I know about things going on in the shop. To say that I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy. Is indeed an understatement. I highly suggest you find somewhere else to take your business.

Overall I was very pleased with the paint job done by Econo. Brian was very clear about what they would do and the truck was ready earlier than promised. The paint job was done very well for the price, Econo was less expensive by half over Maaco and some of the other local body shops I got estimates from. Econo made my 22 year old truck look almost new for a very reasonable price. For the value received, I'm extremely satisfied with their work. Thanks Brian and staff for a job well done...Barre Pannell

DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!They over-sprayed the entire car when I just needed a panel replaced and painted. Then didn't even bother to try to buff it out. Tons of the rubber trim was painted. The windshield was completely painted to the point I could hardly see through it. All the windows and black trim were sprayed metallic silver. Not to mention the whole wheel well was bright silver instead of black like the others and there was paint residue all over the inside of the car. And to top it off the paint on the new panel didn't even match the rest of the car!What should have been a simple job turned out to severely damaged the value of my car, which I have always taken really good care of. The FIRST time I went to pick it up and pointed out the horrible job, Ryan, (the manager whose dad owns the shop, and he will be sure to let you know that as if anybody gives a damn) looked at me blankly and asked "What do you want me to do about it?" I told him to fix it.A few weeks later, I went to pick up my car after they supposedly fixed the damage they had done but somehow it was even worse. There was even more paint everywhere and this time they had painted my tires!!! I told Ryan it was unacceptable and he copped a major attitude with me. I told him I wanted just wanted my money back and he told me that you get what you get for $600. I could tell he was used to whipping that line out on people, but the almost $700 dollars I paid him ain't exactly cheap for what I had done, so that bull didn't work on me.After that they did a quick fix to get me out of there but I am still going to have to have some more paint removed on the trim and I didn't have my car for over a month. And not to mention the constant dread of knowing I was going to have to confront these jerks about not doing what I had paid them to do.This business obviously relies on people who they think cannot or will not stand up to them. Everything about the place is sleazy and they don't even take credit or debit cards so that you can't challenge the charge. Use somebody local or just spray the thing yourself and it will look better. But whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM ECONO!!!

The man that helped me was awesome I had a clip broke where I hit something on my trim and scrapes it and it's not bad he was kind enough to put a clip on it and fix it and didn't charge me a dime. I don't know his name but thank you

Please see my earlier review. What a throw away response from Econo. In talking to the illustrious Ryan, I can pretty much deduct that he or somebody in the shop is probably the "area supervisor". It sounds like it is not really a chain but more like a loose affiliation of independent businesses with a common distributor and name.To Econo: Please don't patronize me with your meaningless canned responses to try to make it look like you care and that you don't have a business that is fundamentally based off of screwing people over. If you want my information look for a receipt from April 5th written by Tim D. I paid a $346.00 deposit and when the parts arrived I was called. I dropped my car off and picked it up THE FIRST TIME on the 23rd of April and paid the remaining $289.00. It is a silver 2012 Ford Escape. In total I paid $635 for the job.Regardless of the price, which is about the going rate, I just wanted the job done right. What I got was entire car painted the wrong color (poorly at that) and textured like sand paper and then a bunch of flack and attitude for daring to complain that you completely screwed up my car. And I know I'm not the only one.Find my phone number from the invoices if you want to call me. I really do not expect a phone call and honestly, don't bother unless you want to give me my money back. I'm just really tired of dealing with this and I want to move on. But what I am going to do is to try my best to make sure that nobody else uses your chop shop.Also, for anyone interested I do have tons of pictures and a five minute video of the damage.

The initial paint job on my Camaro was not done well - it looked like there was very little prep work done before painting it. They did make good on their promise to rectify this - we got my Camaro back today and it looks great! Thanks for working with us!

More than likely will never use these guys again. I get it s a $500 paint job but you can at least not leave spots of where it wasn t painted can t you? Overall the truck turned out better than what it was I still think it could ve came out better. Lots of communication issues between me and their team.

Had a part painted and the quality of work was worse than horrid. The color didn't match and there was dust and dirt in the paint and also the part was not primed as it should have been. There are sections where the paint is thin enough to still see the grey of the bumper. And also an area where either someone or something touch it while it was drying. I didn't expect a show winning paint job but I also didn'texpect this. Going to cost me double to have it resprayed properly at another shop.

I dropped my car off on Sunday and it was ready Tuesday. I am very pleased with the quality of work they did. Tim was very helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend them and will be taking my other car to them in the near future.

I have gone to Econo Auto Painting multiple times over the years. I have an Infinity and everywhere I went, I was quoted $1200 and up to fix a dent in my bumper. I went to Econo and Pete gave me the best deal EVER! It took them TWO days and I went to pick up my car and it looked like NEW! I LOVE Econo Auto Painting and they will ALWAYS get the business of my family and I. My dad has let them paint several of his BMW's and we've never had a problem. Pete does have an A-type personality, but he knows what he's doing and he's not going to feed you any BS. I would definitely refer all of my friends and family!

Got 2 doors painted here. Thousands less than what all the other body shops quoted me. Took them on Wednesday afternoon and picked up on Thursday. Simple as that.

This was the worst paint job ever. Was supposed to get my truck back in 3 days and it took a week in a half to get back. The paint was horrible. Doesn t look like they sanded the truck before they painted it. There is spots from the where it has not been sanded. The paint is is running. All out devastatingly disgusted with the quality of this paint.

Pete is gone and the new owners do not really care what happens to your car. Ive taken all my company fleets cars (8) to get painted there since i started 5 months ago in business. The last car was painted after pete the mangaer of many years left. Took my van in for the fleet for simple paint and body work done. Now my windows just roll about a half a foot down and thats it. Went and spoke with the current manager on duty (regional director) and he said he had nothing to do with it even though they were in possesion of it for almost two weeks. I asked if he could at least look into it and he said did not care. Actually let me clarify that manager on duty is the regional director for econo paint. What a joke. As mean and intolerant pete was he cared about his work and customers... this guy clearly doesnt care and i hope they loose business to there lack of character when it comes to the vehicle they are in possesion of. What a shame and i hope this joke of a regional manager and lack of customer service get what they deserve.
