I called this store around 3pm on a Saturday and spoke with Alex. He gave me a great price on 2 new tires and told me to come on in even though the store closed at 5 pm. When I got there they were really busy but they got the paperwork finished and the tires put on in less than one hour. All the employees were professional, courteous, and helpful. I would highly recommend this Discount Tire store!

I went to Discount Tire for the first time today and I received amazing service. Both of the people who helped me were named Alex, and they both went above and beyond. They provided exceptional service and quality work, and I feel safe driving with my new set of tires. I can't recommend them enough and I will definitely be back. Bonus: my mom was very happy, too!

I'm going to sound like a paid advertisement. But this is definitely coming from my heart and not my wallet. This place and all who work here are phenomenal! I can very easily say it's the Chick Fil A of tire shops. Customer service here is top tier. Having car issues is stressful and intimidating. You're worried about pricing.. You're concerned it's not going to get fixed correctly or you'll get cheated.. You're expecting to be chastised, hit on, or both by men (no offense guys, but it's true). You'll 100% be safe here! They're extremely fast while also being totally thorough. Their main goal is to get you safe! From my first visit 2 years ago to just the other day.. they may have a few new faces but the vibe is always there. A++ service, Discount Tire Gunbarrel! Thank you for that

After the experience I had at this shop on 2/8/2024, this will forever be where I go for all my tires.The assistant manager Corey (who deserves to be a full time manager, no doubt) went absolutely above and beyond for me. Cayden did an excellent job with balancing my tires and advising me of damage on the inside of one of them that could have severely impacted my road trip I am making this weekend. Car rides much smoother after he serviced it.The gestures and friendliness of your staff may not seem like much on your end, but it sure meant a lot to me. Thanks again.

Definitely the best experience I ve ever had at any tire place in the United States. I was coming in from out of town and had an issue with my 30 foot horse trailer tires. I called 25+ places in and around Chattanooga and no one could help me then Alex with Discount Tire answered the phone and solved all my problems. They worked hard behind the scenes to find the one single warehouse that carried the tires I needed. I couldn t have made it home without them and they did it all same day. Highly recommend calling them first. Save yourself the headache!On a completely unrelated note this place is the Grey s Anatomy of tire places. IYKYK.

Service was great and they called and asked if I would like moved my scheduled date up to have my tires installed then. I took off one star because I was also wanting to get two of my wheels straightend and when searched on the web for places around me that have that service there store is always one of the top three listed in google to have that kind of work done. When going to there website it list that that's a service that they do but guess what? They don't.

Fast courteous and I'm very appreciative of the diligence. Have been bringing my family's cars here for years and always a good experience. Feel comfortable and safer with their recommendations on products and services. If there are any hiccups they remedy quickly to the best they can!

Counter guy was great. The finished product is great. But this... this is unsafe for employee and vehicle. A lift, or at a minimum some jack stands would have eased the mind a little.

I was quoted a price on the phone, yet when I got there it was almost double. (A 100 dollar difference) They said taxes, disposal fee, etc. I talked to a shop and they said it should not have been that much for those fees. I got 2 tires and felt like they were being pushy about getting 4 since 3 men asked me what "we" could do to make that happen today. I'm sure they work on commission but being that pushy is ridiculous. It also took longer to get it done than they said. People were leaving for food because of the wait. The staff is nice but again I think it's commission based. I was not impressed and not sure I will be going back. They're way to pushy!

I went in this morning to get my tires rotated. Turns out that 2 of my tires needed to be changed out. I didn't have the extra money this week to make that happen, but Alex refused to let me leave with the tires I came in with. He said that he was more concerned with my safety than selling tires. He really helped me out and made it affordable for me. Yes I walked away from him, to the nearest exit, to hide the tears that began running down my face. I'll never go anywhere else for tires, wiper blades, ANYTHING!!!

Discount always takes care of our tire needs. Super professional, quote me accurate time expectations, really do try to give great deals. The people are great. THEY HUSTLE. Free water bottles. Expectedly uncomfortable waiting chairs.However. The music at this location is really irritating. It's Christian pop, and as someone who is not Christian, it feels like a bummer to hear this for an hour+ every time I visit. I read my book, wait patiently, and wish for the radio to suddenly combust. I would rather have silence. Or elevator music. Please. Please stop playing this.

Fast and friendly service. They were honest, and the prices weren t too crazy. I had tires with foam lining replaced, and they mentioned they work on those. Other places in town, including Costco and Walmart, were unable to work on foam-lined tires.

When I arrived I was promptly greeted by Robert. He was friendly and quickly got to the bottom of the problem of my tire light being on. While I was here I decided to have an alignment done and while waiting heard Robert s interactions with other customers in the building. Even while busy on the phone with a customer and customers lining up in front of him, he appreciated them coming in today and he would be with them shortly. Professional, friendly, and efficient for every single person he has encountered and an asset to this location. Great service start to finish.

My wife knew discount tire from texas. They are the nicest shop ever. Very clean shop, they even have window and seat to see the work down on the car. We got help from Michael and that was a hell of a service. Very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Four tires change was done by the time we finished lunch next door. 80$ a tire and for a bill of 500$ with taxes, installation and warranty certificate. The cheapest around and the widest selection available in the shop. Also last detail, we just walked in, no appointment.

This place is efficient. Note: I selected the tires I wanted as well as the windshield wipers and paid online. Then I was able to schedule an appointment. It was so nice to drop off, they already had my info and and their tracker app made it very easy to know what was going on. Everything was installed at the time they said it would and I was able to walk back in an hour later. Brendan was very friendly and professional, the other employees were very pleasant as well. It's not a mom and pop shop it's a chain, but for what I needed with a busy schedule this was an excellent experience.

Can't say enough good things about this place. When interacting with the staff, I immediately could tell that customer service was a priority. I'll definitely be back for a full set of tires in the future just because of how the service was!

The salesman Sean did not replace the two tires I wanted to be replaced and let me leave with an inch rip in my side wall. The new tire also lasted less than a year. I had to replace the new cooper tire within 8k miles.

Cleanest shop I ve ever been to. They had the nicest guys and without a doubt the BEST PRICES!!! My wife said she stopped by for an air check and was immediately greeted by the friendly staff as they even shined her tires too!! I will not go anywhere else for my tires. The Discount Tire on Gunbarrel road was the best customer service experience I ve had in years!! Josh that helped me find tires was very knowledgeable and answered every question I could think of for my Dodge Durango R/T, while still getting me a great deal on the tires I wanted!

I was at a nearby business and realized my car battery was dead.The wonderful folks at Discount Tire (1821 Gunbarrel Rd, Chattanooga, TN) cheerfully went above and beyond by giving my car a free boast.I m betting they would be great place to buy new tires from too! Thanks soooo much!

My company car right rear tire hit a nail. Unfortunately, the location of the nail(at the edge between sidewall and tread) which make it not repairable.Good/great:1. The customer service. Just about every members of the discount tire team were super friendly.2. Price match. They will match anyone's price.3. Thoughtfulness. The accident happened on 2 days before labor day, and I had to drive 10+ hours on labor day. Discount tire did not have the specific brand & model in stock. They install a loaner tire on my car (FREE) so that I can complete my trip. I came back 2 days after the labor day and they installed the tire I ordered.4. Facility is clean. Waiting area has water bottles for customers.5. Wait time is minimum as all discount tire team members are efficient. (Sorry, @ Walmart, you need to improve).Opportunities for improvement:Perhaps you can install a TV with some basic channels for customers while they wait.

Corey is awesome not sure if he is the manager are an hourly employee but overall the staff at this location is phenomenal, Corey went above and beyond with the help and information I needed about the tires on my vehicle,I will be returning for future business,this location gets a 10.

Great customer service! As soon as I pulled in the gentleman outside stop what he was doing and made sure I was helped. Then inside the managers were super friendly and helpful as well. These guys are awesome and, of course, they know their stuff. I usually don t give reviews and 5 stars. However, these guys deserve it! Great job fellas!

I recently visited Discount Tire and had the pleasure of meeting Alex, the store manager, and Jacob an employee at the front desk. I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with their level of honesty and sincerity. They were both incredibly knowledgeable about the different tire options available and took the time to explain which tires would be the most appropriate for my specific driving needs when I asked them questions.What really stood out to me was the fact that they were more interested in earning my business than making a quick sale. They took the time to listen to my concerns and made sure I was fully satisfied with my purchase before I left the store. I really appreciated their willingness to go the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction.Overall, my experience at Discount Tire was excellent. Alex and Jacob are truly exceptional in terms of their customer service skills, and I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of new tires. If you're looking for an honest, knowledgeable, and sincere tire specialist, then you can't go wrong with Discount Tire.

So this is only the second? time I have ever left a review. My experience and first impression of Discount Tire on Gunbarrel Road in Chattanooga was as follows:1. Greeted warmly in the middle of the parking lot by a service PROFESSIONAL who opened the door for us and began to serve us.2. Upon entry into the building, was offered a chilled bottle of water on a 95� day.3. Uplifting, edifying music was playing softly overhead.4. Provided with service in much less time than initially informed.

Came through the quick air line. Sat for 45 minutes with only 2 cars in front before being service Unfortunately, I was blocked in and couldn't leave the line. Only use service if Zero line. Appreciate it's free, but it was an hour process by the time I left.
