A new employee helped me today, this is the second time I have interacted with him and both times he has been exceptional. I've worked at many auto parts stores before and the reason people always are back to deal with me, is the same reason they will start dealing with him . Because he's not trying to sell you the most expensive part they have , he was trying to make sure I got the part I wanted and he told the prices on the parts in all variables. Low,to medium,to high and he tried to get as much information about everything without being pushy. In my mind that's how you get loyal customers and make a connection with the customer. Their was another guy there I believe he may have been the night manager &he to was extremely friendly and went out of his way to help me . They deserve to be told they are doing a good job from their boss, because usually most people will be screwing around on their phones. But this was a good shopping experience,just wished that I had more money to keep buying stuff for my old junker dodge

Car people work here. They are gonna share their opinions if you open up for them to. They arent always correct about every single thing on every car. But customer service is absolutely amazing. They treat people as equals, they don't make you feel stupid for not Knowing what you are talking about. They don't expect you to be ASE certified just to buy parts. They've all had their fair share of issues with vehicles, and one way or another they help get the parts you need.

This place is great, for the most part, and cheaper than anyone else especially the other parts store that starts with an A. Just don't go in there thinking you can get a gremlin trap bc they aren't real car people they just sell us parts.

Came in today, Feb 16 @ 10 :20 for trans.fluid and wiper blades. Counter help was a trainee who had already told me she needed a managers help in a prior matter. Another employee was on the phone and then the manager walks past into the void behind the counter. Told the trainee I would just go over to Advance where I was promptly waited on. This has happened once before.

I've been a faithful customer for over 15 years. After purchasing an axle, i installed it and drove on it for exactly 2 weeks. However, i had to wait on a rack to do the install. Car drove great for the 2 week period before i heard loud grinding. By this time, the racks was taken with front wheel drive vehicles. It took another week to inspect the noise. After lifting the vehicle, i placed the vehicle in low gear while i slid under to find the location of the noise.I located the noise coming from the planetary area of the transmission. SO...... I ordered a new transmission directly from the dealership since no internal parts was available to purchase. This transmission was $6,000 just to have it dropped off at the shop. The transmission sat in it's plastic container for around 2 weeks before i had a chance to do the install.When i started the removal of the transmission, i did everything i could reach from under the hood. Once i had it lifted in the air, i had to disassemble the suspension before i could pull out the axles. After removing the driver's side axle, i seen that the locking ring wasn't on the axle anymore. So i pulled out the drain plug and seen so much metal, it's unbelievable. I took the axle directly to AutoZone to show my discovery. Since it was on a Saturday, the commercial workers wasn't available to talk. So, i left the axle with a note attached. I didn't hear anything about it the following week, so i asked about it. I was told that the axle was sent back because "noboby said anything about there being a problem with the axle"AutoZone left me in the dark and told me yesterday that they have no plans on reimbursing me for the transmission. The reason they gave me.... was that i waited too long to file paperwork on the claim. I just found out yesterday that paperwork was even involved. I also notified them about the issue over 2 months ago. They told me it only covered 90 days for any kind of labor claim. I think it's amazing that they intentionally left me in the dark about the situation because i didn't know the ins and outs of how the labor claim portion worked since i've never filed one before.Needless to say, i will no longer install or purchase any parts from this company. I would highly suggest everyone who reads this, do the same. If they let time run out for a long term customer like me, what do you think they'll do to you?

Nov. 2023. Thanks to Jera for helping me with the code & Maint Reqd light.******Update in 2023: Thank you to Snow for such wonderful help this morning with my code reading & letting me know my battery was bad before I ended up going dead in the Taco Bell drivethru like I did 3 years ago n there were a bunch of angry drunks behind me. Awkward Moments. But not today thanks to Snow*********I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE A SHOUT OUT TO Ty and most of all Jean. What helpful people. Jean has been out to my car either over or under 4x now and it's 100�. What a trooper.

I don't shop at East Ridge's AutoZone, but I needed some help with my transmission for my 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. I called this store by accident; I meant to call the one in Ringgold, GA.Anyway, the manager, Wanda, was extremely patient and helpful with my issue. I'm giving five stars just for her committment to excellent customer service.

I went in to buy a battery for my key fob,I told the clerk he went and got it for me . I went home to change it and it was the wrong one. U went back to get the right one and they wouldn't exchange for me . That is the worst customer I have ever encountered and they I will be going to O'REILLY from . I would give 0 stars but I can't.

I've brought 3 batteries to this location.When asked to charge them, they told me the batteries were no good and offered replacements.Took them to a battery shop who said they were perfectly fine and have been using them for many months after this.

Went in needing a bulb for my headlamp. I watched a google video to try it myself. Jera (I hope I got your name correct) she is the lady technician @ Ringgold Road walked me through the whole process so I feel more comfortable. I greatly appreciate the time she took to teach me some simple maintenance I can now do myself.2/15/2022 I am having to edit the original post because google wont let me add another separate review it seems. Today I popped into the store to have my battery checked. I was greeted by Andrew who came out to test the battery which was low on charge and helped me purchase a new one. He was super friendly and knowledgeable. I am a repeat customer of this store now and pleased with the purchase and service from the store that I trust. Thank you!

So I needed a bulb for my license plate and I stopped at Auto Zone. There was an employee helping a customer and I looked up and down the aisles for a bulb I saw a another employee reading a magazine behind the counter and I asked him if they can find a bulb for me they acted like they were upset that they had to help me kind of rude. Other than that I have no complaints.

Jena and the crew went WAY above and beyond what is expected from a parts store. She offered sound advice on parts selection and went so far as to help diagnose my problem, in turn, saving me hundreds of dollars. This is my new favorite store, even when it's busy, they take the time needed to attend each customer needs. I highly recommend to everyone!

Short lines very helpful advice for the part needed . Fast service hands on assistance tools, oil checks ,or a quick light bulb fix great customer quality this is the place togo. Fair prices not like other competitor's. Big parking lot room for everyone. Perfect for quick tire change or other mishaps!Overall I enjoyed the peace of mind when leaving everything was fixed no need to return parts" They get it right the first time .I will continue as a customer here for further auto needs.

I can t say enough good things about the East Ridge location. I was recently caught in a heavy rainstorm with windshield wipers that needed replacing. I stopped to buy a replacement. I felt bad about the young man having to go out in the rain. He only smiled an asked if he could do anything else. I always receive wonderful service from wiper replacement to having my check engine light explained to me.

Andrew and Donnie were fantastic. We broke down 119 Miles from home and they helped and Donnie even put a new alternator on for me in their parking lot. Thanks guys, may the Lord richly bless you.

Late Sunday afternoon, I had to have a new battery. AAA had jumped the old one which was at least 10 years old. I drove to Auto Zone in East Ridge TN for help. Donnie checked the battery to assess the situation. During this evaluation, he also discovered that the alternator needed to be replaced as soon as possible. There are no auto repair shops open on a Sunday evening. I was going to have to drive home and wait till Monday morning to get these repairs with the possibility of another call to AAA. Another customer of Donnie s just happened to drive up to purchase some parts for a car he was repairing in his shop. Donnie mentioned that his customer had a shop. After discussing this situation, the customer said he would be willing to install the new alternator that evening.I purchased a new battery and the alternator. Donnie installed the battery for me. Later that evening, my vehicle was totally repaired and running just fine. Donnie was so helpful, courteous and reassuring during the entire episode. There was also an error on the invoice. When I returned to Auto Zone the next day, Wanda was so helpful to correct the mixup the following day so I would have the correct copy of the warranty for the parts I purchased. I so appreciate the time they both took to make sure everything was just perfect. It s great to have a place that cares about customers and treats them with respect. Auto Zone is my go to place for windshield wipers and car care items. Thank you so much!! Wanda and Donnie did go the extra mile for me!!

This is where I go for all my auto part needs. It's a good sized store and has about anything you can think of. They will test or change your battery for you or your windshield wipers. If they don't have it, they can usually get it that day. Knowledgeable staff. They run a free diagnostic for your car.

I witnessed a very exceptional example of customer service at the East Ridge store this weekend. An elderly woman come into the store needing help with her said it was running rough and couldn't afford to take it to the shop. A young lady took total control and used a tool to diagnose the problem, told the lady that it looked like a simple fix, and asked another customer who was a mechanic himself if he would go out and look at her car. In less than 5 minutes the mechanic had her car running perfectly with no money out of her pocket. The lady was so thankful I could see the tears in her eyes and the young lady said "That's what we do". Cudos to Autozone!

We were stuck in Chattanooga overnight due to our car overheating. We stopped at AutoZone and Ray and Jarra would THE MOST HELPFUL and kind people we have ever ran into! They helped us with every step we needed and even had the ONE part we needed to fix our car! 10/10 recommend stopping here if you need ANYTHING for your car!

I pulled into or rather cruised into the parking lot with a dead alternator and was stressed out about getting my vehicle moving again. Luckily the wonderful staff totally helped me find the part I needed and assisted me in changing it out. Jera the great woman who was working that night voluntarily stayed after they closed and made sure I installed the new alternator correctly, I was extremely grateful for her help and willingness to stay. Thanks again Jera!

I just visited the East Ridge Autozone for the first time. I usually go to one closer to my home but I was in the area so I stopped. I was helped tremendously by Jera! I'm so glad that I stopped there. she was awesome! I will continue to visit the East Ridge store & ask for Jera from now on for my auto parts & send my friends. I am a Very Happy Customer!

A gentleman by the name of Mr. Raymond was extremely pleasant and helpful in finding the right radiator fan for my Toyota. He was kind enough to even print off a photo copy of the part with all the right information, thank you so much!
