My family of 5 was on vacation when our minivan broke down. A1 was able to tow and repair quickly, in time for our trip back home. Their price was very reasonable, and Ashley's professionalism and understanding helped make a stressful situation manageable. Would highly recommend!

My car was totaled in a hit and run and I had to go to the ER. The Chattanooga PD got A1 Towing & Auto Repair to pick up the remnants of my vehicle. They picked a great place. The A1 staff at the facility were so compassionate and friendly to my mother the three times she had to go over there. I gave oral consent for my insurance company to pick up the vehicle. A1 were friendly over the phone to me and made the process simple. I give A1 my highest recommendation if you need a tow. Thanks y'all!

No one wants to call a tow truck...but if I had to again, I would absolutely call A1. I requested the tow through AAA and Hector arrived promptly during my requested window. He was personable, honest, and professional. He let me know what would happen, made sure everything was good to go, and did this all quickly and efficiently and with a smile on his face. Thankful that this was my experience and would absolutely recommend!

A flat tire is inconvenient, it just is but these people are awesome! I was stuck in the cold with my 95 year old mother and they were fast! Hunter knew where I could get a tire within three miles and things just couldn't have gone easier! The real kicker...I left my wallet in the tow truck. This time of year I was literally (really literally) sick over losing my wallet! But when I called to see if it was there, it was! So honest! So Helpful! So Professional! I'll never call anyone else!

Pulled up on my single car accident (I slid in the rain) I told him I was calling my insurance company and that I would have a tow truck on the way he refused to leave and called the policeAnd never even helped

Everyone from here was absolutely fantastic, meaning the man who showed up to give me roadside assistance, the tow truck driver, and the people in the service department. I will be using them from now on and highly recommend them to everyone needing any of their services.

This place was great! Nobody likes to breakdown but this company made the process, from towing to repair, smooth & easy. And they even loved up on my Rottweiler! Staff was so friendly & accommodating! Shout out to Hector, Alicia, Ashley & the entire crew for a great experience! I've been a AAA member since 1997. Had to wait on the phone twice for an extended period of time because their online towing assistance will not let you finish the process when you at near the end of it.However they sent A1 Towing to me in Cleveland TN as the the local services here have not always been dependable and sometimes end up canceling on you while you have been waiting.David called me and told me he was on his way and was about 35 minutes out. I expected longer because I always seem to have bad luck. He was on time and got my vehicle home quick. Thank you David and A1 Towing!!!!The car was sitting at a gas station overnight and I went back to get it mid morning. The oil plug came out. We have 2 smart cars. The other smart car had the oil plug stripped and the business that did the oil change had to repair it no charge. Now the other place I switched to is going to have to fix this. Beware if you own or ever get a smart fortwo.....Service: Car towing

Not to sure who to blame but I have triple A and waited 3 hours on this towing company to come. I can I understand if it has happened once but it has now happened twice. The driver that finally came after someone else unlocked my car for me, had his girlfriend in the car with him and also sounded like he was on something when we spoke over the phone. Very disappointed.

John the driver showed up within 20 minutes of us calling AAA. He loaded my tundra in a safe and efficient manner. I followed him to Walmart where he patiently waited to find out where to park even though I called ahead and they said it wouldn't be a problem. Oh well. He started to unload the truck when the truck wouldn't start due to the alarm/remote start failing. We finally got it unload thanks to him being patient and keeping a positive and helpful attitude. I would definitely recommend them for the information time when you need a tire. I will also request them (him) specifically if possible the next time through AAA.I just had to use a tow company again, and again AAA sends me A-1. Hector was the driver/operator this time and he was just as professional as the first driver from A-1. I wish i had the same HR dept in my moving business that A-1 has because it would have made life much easier. Thanks again guys/gals.

My son was hit head on by a drunk at 10:30 at night! Police said to have the car towed. He said that they could tow it to our house and that insurance would pay them,since my son wasn't at fault! The guy who arrived was very smart aleck and rude. I asked if he could tow my son's car to our house and he said," Only if you pay me cash up front!" He went ahead and towed the car to his place of work's lot. Next day I called to see if we could pick up my Son's car and the woman said ," No because we are closing in 3 minutes! "My husband & I went over and their workers were still there & literally could have let my son take his car! Instead they charged him$35,plus over $100.00 for towing it there! They hadn't even had it 24 hours!!! I would absolutely not recommend these rude people who overcharge! Literally there are others who would do it for 1/3 the price they asked and who would treat you polite and respectful!

Our daughter is a student at UTC and it just so happened her break line burst..We live out of town but found A-1 towing and they were wonderful! This company was disorganized and the driver (Taylor) was EXTREMELY RUDE. There was a mix up on their end (the dispatcher Cathy did not give the driver updated information) of where to meet me with the tow, and once he realized it he threatened me by saying that I was still going to have to pay for the tow. I said I was sorry for the mixup but asked that he not be rude to me because it wasn t my fault, he then hung up on me then lied to AAA saying that I was verbally abusive because I asked him to not be rude to me. This was a complete lie and spiteful and petty. Especially with him knowing that I had been broken down and stranded on the side of the interstate for FOUR HOURS getting the run around from several different towing places. One of the worst customer service experiences I ve ever had in my whole life and as someone that prides themself I m giving phenomenal customer service myself, I m deeply disturbed and appalled. Five thumbs down for sure, if I could ve given no stars, I definitely would have.Service: Car towing

We got a flat tire on the highway in Chatanooga right before an exit ramp. Luckily we were able to drive off. We called AAA and they told us it would be about 40 minutes.... Hektor from A-1 Towing showed up within 10 minutes. We were pleasantly surprised! He was really friendly and got us to a repair shop just before they closed for the day. Hektor was fabulous!!! Thank you so much!!!

Absolutely amazing experience. Called with an emergency flat tire after pulling into a parking lot, just getting in from Knoxville. Hector was there within 15 minutes and started working on my tire right away. Tire was switched and ready to get moving again within 45 minutes of the flat. Hector was friendly, very professional, and had great customer service skills.Would highly recommend! And was EXTREMELY thankful for their timely and friendly service in a stressful situation!Service: Tires

Kenneth at A-1 Towing responded to our daughter s call after an accident. She is a college student, 2 hours from home. He was professional and so helpful, actually speaking to my husband and I. He was able to assess the situation and give us his honest opinion, and with his assistance she was able to drive back to her dorm. Having someone there to provide this assistance was so comforting for us and our daughter, who was upset and crying when he arrived and much better by the time they finished. Kenneth truly went above and beyond with these scared 18 year old girls, and we are eternally grateful and thankful that Kenneth was the person who answered this call.

I requested a tow through AAA. The response time was relatively quick but there was no communication that the truck was actually on the way. The driver showed up and attempted to diagnose the issue himself. I then decided to drop it at a shop nearby. The overall situation was relatively smooth but service was incredibly poor all around on A1s part. Would not use these folks if I had the option.

A1 is amazing. Calling through AAA these guys came right away with both a service car and a tow truck. Being from out of state and not knowing where to take the car Hector the service guy who was great, recommended his shop and said they could fix it with no problem and we would also get 10% off. The tow truck driver Chip was great as well taking good care of my husband and car putting in a safe spot because my husband had to sleep in the car until the next morning when it opened. Zack was our mechanic who my husband said was amazing. He took the car first thing, assessed the problem ordered the part and had it done and had my husband on the road within a couple of hours. They also offered my husband breakfast or anything while he waited, that was very sweet and kind. I would highly recommend this company everyone in the Chattanooga area. If I lived in Chattanooga I would take all my cars to A1 Towing and Auto Repair. Thank you again for going above and beyond to help a very stranded family, you are real lifesavers.Service: Local hauling

If I could give more than five stars I would. Was on an 8 hour drive from Missouri to Georgia and my car stopped shifting. Turned out my alternator was totally shot. So I looked for a tow service and found these guys also had a garage, and not just for big trucks. They took amazing care of my baby, she went in Monday night and was ready Wednesday afternoon. Whole new alternator and driving beautifully once again. I truly appreciate these guys because I'm not from the area and they were super communicative every step of the way. Pretty sad when you discreetly make a complaint on your web page get a phone call saying you don't do 18-wheeler towing when you have one right on your page and playing another company.
