The leaf spring retaining nut was missing. We found it as we were about to leave with the trailer loaded. The bolt had backed 90% of the way out. Luckily I found it before we got on the interstate. I had to lay beneath the trailer in the rain and it was about 40 degrees, then find a nut that fit the bolt, jack the trailer up and pry the leaf spring into place to get the bolt back through and then get a new nut on. Beyond frustrating.Also, the trailer had been outfitted with led light updates but not the resistors so that the vehicle doesn t think they are out. My brand new truck constantly thought the lights were out. I pull a lot of trailers and this isn t an issue with the truck. It was incredibly annoying having it alert you every time you used the blinker or hit the brakes.To add to it, when I returned the trailer the gentleman asked how it was, I politely explained my frustration and issues with the trailer and he just said oh and then as they disconnected it from my truck said your good to leave . Nothing to try and make it right, no apology or even genuine interest in what happened. I took pictures and showed them the photos of the issue and how critical it was. It was all dismissed. Overall it got the job done, but with me repairing their trailer in the rain. And somehow I still paid for 2 full days and I returned it repaired and almost a day early. I ll find a different rental facility next time. This one is a joke.

Brandon and his team were very helpful. Upon returning my trailer after driving across the country, there were issues with my running board and brake lights. When I arrived, they were busy, but Brandon took the time and care needed to get the issue fixed. He not only fixed it, but he actually improved upon the previous work done on my lights and trailer connection. I appreciate him, his knowledge, and willingness to help.

If there was a way to give less than one star, I would. I have rented storage facilities for the last 20 years and this place is the worst. They park trucks in the at the docks so their customers cannot load and unload their belongings. When you bring it to their attention, they make me feel like you are doing something wrong. Customer service does not exist and the place is run by an absolute Idiot, that does not care about customer service. Take your business elsewhere.

I've rented U-Haul over 15 times, and never have I been so pleased with the service as I am with the team at the Brentwood location. Initially, I chose a truck that was too small, but upon calling them to switch to a larger one, they promptly grasped my situation and accommodated my request, making my experience significantly smoother. I expected the usual unfriendly response, such as "You need to reserve in advance," or "We have nothing available for you," but the woman at the front desk was very friendly, polite and went above and beyond to assist us.A solid 5 stars for the exceptional service at this location!

I've had a great experience getting moving supplies and help from this location, particularly from Robert, who actually gave me some used moving blankets that couldn't be resold when I stopped in a few weeks back. Thanks Robert, and keep up the great work.

Went there to get a trailer. They were able to change it from a utility trailer to a covered trailer on the spot. In and out in 15 minutes. Great customer experience.

No organization and a bunch of employee's with bad attitudes. Key was not in the truck, completely negated all the benefit of using the app to get the truck. Will never rent from that location again.

We are frequent customers and had a poor experience purchasing a uhaul tape gun that the salesman raved about when we got it. We attempted to use it and it was either defective or a very poor design. We tried for about 10 minutes but eventually took the tape off the gun and just used it the old fashioned way, with our teeth or a pair of scissors. The worst part of the whole experience was trying to return the defective item yesterday and UHauls man in charge being confrontational about there being tape residue on the item so weird, of course there s tape residue on the item. How else would we know if it didn t work properly? They insisted that they would not return or even exchange the item. How can a person left in charge of a big business like this not have the power to keep a Customer happy over an item that cost the customer $9.95 and the business much less than that. Overall, it was a Very strange interaction with someone discussing their personal life and lawyers with other employees when customers were in the shopping area. Guess he s just having a bad week but please don t take it out on your customer.

I needed a box, they had a box, so I bought the box. The box was decently priced, although the packing material less so.Parking is pretty awful.

We rent a truck a bunch of times every fall for Franklin band, and they are always extremely nice and accommodating. I have really appreciated the staff doing everything they can to get is what we need. A+

Took 1.5 hours to get a rental truck that we already had reserved. I gave an extra star because they had two-three staff members helping 1 customer at a time. Service was still bad despite this extra effort.

They installed a hitch with wiring on my honda pilot. I wasn't satisfied with the first way they did the wiring and they promptly fixed it to my pleasing and even refunded me some labor expenses. I am satisfied with what they did. Brandon Smith was the professional who installed the hitch.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I dealt with Jonathan the manager and Jackie a Repwest claims adjustors. I was in for a hitch install and looked over the car before I left it with them. Brand new car, no scratches.When I returned the bumper was all scratched up. It seems as though they had to remove it and drag it all around the install bay. And the front left fender had paint removed from a scratch the exact size as the rail guard of the ramp!I tried to get help and finally had a terrible adjustor review my claim. Jackie Guddendorf from Repwest. She didn't even watch the right video! I tried to reach out to supervisors and gm but they don't care!I should never have trusted uhaul with such a sensitive install. It makes me scared to tow anything if they were this negligent with the install!Repairs will be several hundred dollars. Wasted time and money here. This is a terrible company that doesn't stand behind their work or employees. They are dishonest and only defer blame. They will rip you off and cheat you any chance they get. I will be telling everyone I know how bad they are.Save your money and install at pep boys. Better customer service, honest company.

I never write reviews, but this was the most unprofessional business I have ever dealt with. No one showed up for work, the snow .. but, NO ONE had the decency to call. I even changed my reservation, no one ever told me that I would be wasting my time. As if moving is not stressful enough, not being able to pick up your moving truck the day of, with ZERO help from anyone. I will never use this location again.

Good service for U-Haul rental. Don t bother to come here for propane tank fill up which is one of the services they advertise. It s their lowest priority. After they told me they can do it on phone, I was told upon reaching there that they are too busy. Was told to come back in 30 mins. When I returned in 30 minutes, after waiting in line for 15 mins, I was told they closed the fill up station. Saying no upfront is a better answer.

I reserved a trailer at the Brentwood location, closest to my home, and two days before the pickup date I was contacted to say the trailer was not available and the closest available was the LaVergne store, 42 miles round trip from my home. I ended up driving 84 miles out of my way to pick up and return the trailer and about 3 hours of extra driving time. Uhaul should have honored the reservation I made. Knocking $10 off the rental was an insult. I wish I had another option for renting a trailer.

The best experience with uHaul I have ever had! Brandon was amazing at fixing and hooking up my trailer lights, and Alex was so helpful installing and getting everything set up. Even being busy they still were super helpful and got us all set up to go!

No dolly and moving blankets available!!We reserved a truck for a one way destination that included two dollies and 2 dozen moving blankets. I arrived at the location five minutes after they opened and soon discovered that there were no moving blankets available. They had no moving blankets available for the several customers that were in front of me in line. The sales representative made is clear the company had run out of moving blankets to offer to their customers. The sales representative also informed me when I arrived at the counter, that they could not offer me a dolly to rent as we were a one way destination. UHaul did not make me aware that we couldn t rent a dolly at the time of booking because we were a one way destination. The location did in fact have moving dollies to rent as I did notice the dollies at their facility. Also be aware when booking your Uhaul vehicle that the destination you request for your Uhaul vehicle is not the destination necessarily for pick up. I was informed two day prior to pick up that I would have to pick up the truck 11 miles away from the requested destination even after booking the truck two months in advance. Moving without a dolly or moving blankets isn t fun.

I made an appointment in store weeks in advance to have a hitch and wiring installed. When I show up to the appointment I was told there is an additional fuse panel I need installed before they could do the wiring. I appreciate they didn't install wiring that wouldn't work but I could have been notified of this before the appointment. Ended up going elsewhere for the work.

I reserved a trailer a week in advance as well as a dozen furniture pads. They had the trailer but NO pads. I was told just because I reserved them didn't mean they would have them.

Propane service was fast, friendly, and reasonably priced. Long RV's (over 28') might have trouble getting in and out, but pulling my 20' trailer I managed to navigate the parking lot just fine.

I wish that I could give zero stars. Instead of renting online, I stopped by this location and asked if they had any small box trucks with a ramp. I even talked about why the ramp was important when they asked what I was moving. They checked me out quickly and within a few minutes I was on my way. When I arrived at home less than 3 miles away I notice that there wasn't a ramp. I drive back to the facility to see about getting the correct truck. I was told by "Mitch" that I would need to rent another truck and that they wouldn't be able to refund the cost of the first truck. That it was their policy once a truck is driven off the lot that they are not able to do any refunds. He said that when I walked around the truck to inspect the truck that I should have seen that it didn't have a ramp and the email they sent listed the type of truck, so I should have noticed that before I left. When I asked if there was anyone else that I could talk to, I was told that he was the manager and there wasn't anything he could do other than give me a dolly to use at no charge. I returned the truck unable to use it. I called the U-haul dealer (LuterCo) on Lakeview Drive and they had a truck with a ramp available. They were very helpful and less expensive for a larger truck. Do go to U-Haul Moving and Storage of Cool Springs!

If you're looking for a decent customer experience - this is not the place. If I were management, I'd want to know that the employees on a Sunday Evening the first weekend of August '19 cost me a customer - there are other (and obviously better choices) places to rent a truck. Of course, that's assuming the management cares about that sort of thing. Typically poor service begins at the top (lack of training, modeling poor service, or treating employees poorly). I'd never rent here again... They're not helpful and the self-drop off process is absurd... Rent somewhere else from a different company.

Aubrey Reese is the best! She is a hard working excellent person who helped me get two propane tanks refilled. She's the kind of person that makes you glad you chose this particular UHaul location. I will return.

Top Notch Service. Top Notch Equipment. When talking with Delaney, I explained that I would be moving by myself and that I would need to finish cleaning my apartment before returning with the truck to have the car transport connected; she wisely suggested an extra day. This saved me. I rented a 15 foot truck with a car transport. Giant mirrors made me feel very comfortable. I found 60 MPH while pulling a car was a comfortable speed. I also rented a larger appliance dolly for moving heavy furniture by myself down stairs. There were no hidden fees or taxes. Highly Recommend!

Johnathan(? Not sure if I spelled that right) went above and beyond to help me prepare an item I am shipping. Everyone there was professional and a pleasure to meet. I had spent all morning looking for a box to ship heavy electronics and they helped me find a box and even helped package it in less than 5 minutes! Overall one of, if not the best customer service experiences I ve ever had. Would 100% recommend.

Could you properly staff? Employ people who actually will acknowledge the customers. Get customers who have made online reservations processed in say... Less than half an hour... Really it should be less than 5 or 10 minutes. You have 4 parties standing in line and it takes FOREVER to process??? SLOW, INEFFICIENT, POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, RUDE (try and acknowledge your customer). Potential custoners/renters if you actually want to load your truck the same day, DON'T RENT HERE!!!
