Rated 4/5 since I didn't ger work done here. But I ended up not needing it! Took my car in to have the alternator repaired after Oriley suggested it was bad, but Wayne was very knowledgeable, and it turned out to just be my battery. Didn't cost me anything, and if I need any work done on my alternator or starter, then I will definitely be bringing my car back here!!!

This super nice crew rebuilt my old 1959 starter so I could get my engine running again. Even though the starter was old and unique, they were able to tell me exactly what needed to be done. Couldn't be happier with their work and customer friendliness. Highly recommended!!!!

Wayne's Batteries was a life saver. While traveling north from Florida in our RV the alternator light started flashing and beeping. They were able to fix it in one day and we were back on our way. Excellent price and great customer service. Thanks so much!

They no longer buying batteries from people and when u call and ask them for an estimate on rebuilding an alternator, they tell you that you have to bring it into the shop in order to get an estimate. Then the lady ended our call with... "And you can either leave it here or go elsewhere!"

Went there to have an alternator rebuilt After it was ready I picked it up and had it tested at autozone autozone and came back bad.. I called Wayne's batteries and let them know that they said it was bad old manner he showed it cussing me and asked me why I took it somewhere to get tested so they got it out of the shop I told him I just wanted to make sure it was going to last I'll never I got rebuilt from them and purred out so I didn't know who was the mechanic or who was Wayne's batteries batteries must have been weighed batteries if he cussed me out like that

As other day the Lord let me feel as if I was going to get run around on Alternator/Generator to be rebuilt. HE even let me have dream while it was at Wayne's shop that the car would die again. So it came out of Wayne saying nothing was wrong with it, but woman told Mark that if had the part would be easy to fix? Wayne saying no no that was on that Ford & was that of Ford Truck Mark was driving? Why did a $300 computer say it was Alternator/Generator when caution light would come on? So as My Supplier of all my needs JESUS CHRIST got us a Bran New one to solve our problems. HE says to trust HIM & not mankind's ignorance of telling people didn't find nothing wrong with it, but as woman confessed I know parts are hard to come by for A Subaru-Foreign vehicle & not for American Ford's. Oh well it will come back on Wayne when someone will do him that way, lol. Praise my Lord thy God we didn't put old one with Generator part bad because as JESUS told me the Bran New one will charge, as HE charges & restores me !!!!! Give HIM MY Praise.

They rebuilt my starter, and alternator. Reasonable prices. Batteries have gone up since 2012. Can still maybe get a 2nd (rebuilt) battery with warranty. Not always available. Bought one this summer. Cranks my engine just fine, even in this cold weather. Temps in low 30's. Service could be better. Person talking to you might be working on a starter or something, or might get one price from one person and another from someone else. Still beats paying full price on new parts. Battery might be a little less than box stores. Not sure about that. Glad to see a Mom and Pop store still thriving when so many others have shut down. They'll have my return biz.

They are one of the best businesses i know of very honest and always do the job right. The owners and workers are really good people very caring and nice. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

The owner is a nasty old man with no life. He uses nasty disrespectful language towards women. Please don't shop here and help support a sexist, egocentric coward. He gets joy out of ripping people off. There are other places near by to get the same products from a reputable company where you will be treated with respect. I recommend Curtis Auto Parts! It is too bad that Shelia is no longer there, when she was this was a great place to shop. However, now that she is gone the business should be as well.

Family business that has alot of experience and was straight with me that it wasn't worth fixing. Another starter they took 2 bad starters and made one. Very fair on price.

Just to clarify, Curtis Auto Parts is NOT shut down. Curtis Auto Parts has been continuously operating since 1956 at 3003 Highway 11 South Athens, TN 37303. It is now managed by Heath Long who is the third generation of the family to operate the business. Heath Long is the Grandson of Lane Curtis.

Dropped off a tilt and trim motor from a boat to be fixed. Months passed with no call and finally went in to check on it. They said they had no record of it and couldn t find it. Probably stolen.
