Scott is great to work with. He will share what he knows and get you where you want to be. He is in the project with you instead of just doing some work for you and then pushing you out the door. Had a GM LSA disassembled and machined by Sehr Performance Machine. I wanted to give props to Scott and the employees. I could tell that Scott kept my goal in mind for the use of the engine and recommended parts that fit. The customer service was outstanding as Scott always took the time to talk through and explain the process, parts, and assembly needs. Is Sehr Performance the most affordable option? No, but I think I can safely speak for most all of his customers when I say experience is key to a successful build with a long life and that, to me, is worth the little extra. Thanks Scott, I enjoy reading your articles in the Motor Magazine and hope that you continue to offer your services for many years to come.

Absolutely phenomenal help. Had issues with Sturdevants before coming here and Scott will always have my business going forward. Friendly, fast. Had him slap pistons and rods together for me and he tossed in bearing assembly lube for me too for my engine rebuild.Thanks Scott!

It took quite awhile to get the motor back, but if you can't get parts, there isn't anything anyone can do until that happens. The guys are always a pleasure to talk to and we're honest with me upfront so I knew what it was going to take to get it back together right!!!

I brought a 4 cylinder motor here for a price on bore and head plane, I was initially quoted over the phone by Scott approximately $1,800 for the complete service and was told the hourly rate was around $100 per hour, after they Cleaned the motor and checked the head I was told it would cost around $3,800 if the work was done on a non rush basis, I took the motor to get another opinion, Sehr gave me a flat rate bill for around $1,200 for this estimate!! I ended up taking the motor to another shop who did the bore, planing, block cleaning bearing press and other services And they charged me Around. $ 1,500.00 complete .I appreciate the fact that they looked at the motor quick, but don t see how they charge this kind of price for an estimate when I was led to believe that the whole job would be around $1,800.00

Scott walked me through my first time getting an engine built. He laid out tons of options with his best recommendations for me. I was kept in the loop and best of all the engine fired first try and ran great. Highly recommended!!!

Extremely expensive! Took 4 days for a job that probably was a half hour tops to do. Unbelievable pricing and amount of time needed for an easy job. I recommend looking elsewhere. Will NOT be going back.

Scott is the man! I worked on a Pontiac 428 that Scott built up and shipped out to Colorado. The machine work was excellent, the engine is a total beast. I would recommend Sehr Performance to anyone.

If your looking for more than just a machine shop . Sehr Performance is the place . Not only will they do a great job , they will ensure nothing gets missed . They do your work like it s for their own projects . When I dropped block off , they said it would be done in two weeks ! Not only was it , price was as quoted !

They do great work, although expensive. Took them 5 weeks to rebuild my cylinder heads.
