Phil and his crew did an awesome job installing windows in our trailer. After we told him what our idea was, he was enthusiastic to help us make it a reality. He had some great suggestions on how to improve on our idea, and we're glad we took him up on them. We will definitely come back. Support your local small businesses, they will always take care of you!

Well where do I begin if you have ever had a trailer made by Philip at custom trailers you'll know exactly where your money went. Also he does many other things for welding he does bumper hitches if he has time he may be able to fix a motor 2 for you and if there's anything that you need stored he also has stories facilities along with his sister.. I've known Phil for a long long time And I can tell you if you have something that needs fixed or you have a problem with something I'm pretty sure he can figure it out if he can't do it or he is too busy he can send you in the right directions for all your needs so if you need a trailer this would be the place to go a good quality custom built trailer by a family owned business it's been around for many years.

I was driving from Minneapolis, MN to Denver, CO and I had an entire wheel/tire & brake assembly shear off an axle and fly into a ditch on Interstate 90. With a bit of backyard engineering, I was able to get the trailer down the highway to a truckstop on the outskirts of Sioux Falls, SD. The truckstop had a repair facility but couldn't help me since they weren't equipped to repair the damage that my trailer sustained. They referred me to Phil at Custom Trailers and after a quick phone call, I was limping my way across Sioux Falls to Custom Trailers.Phil and Aaron took a look at my trailer and quickly realized that the axles on my trailer were much too small for the load the trailer was able to carry and offered two solutions; replace just the damaged axle to get me down the road or replace all 3 axles and brake assemblies that were properly rated for the load the trailer could carry. After a brief discussion with them, I opted to replace all the axles. Phil was able to get 3 axles in production by 4pm on a Monday afternoon and ready for installation under the trailer by 2pm on Tuesday afternoon. They replaced 3 axles, 6 brakes, 2 leaf springs, bushings and all the hardware and had me heading towards Denver in less that 48 hours. I didn't even have to unload the trailer!When I saw the wheel and tire fly off my trailer on the highway, I was thinking I was going to be stranded and had no idea how to fix it. Phil, Aaron and everyone at Custom Trailers had me fixed up and back on the road in no time. The price was more than fair and the knowledge and "get it done" attitude of the guys in the shop made what could have been a bad situation, an enjoyable detour on my trip. Phil even followed up a couple days later to make sure I made it to Denver.I can't say enough good things about the quality of their work, honesty, integrity and positive attitude. From the moment I pulled up to their shop, I knew I was in good hands!!

I was referred to Custom Trailers to do some repairs on my trailer. They were really helpful and gave me an estimate to do the repairs that was way less than I expected. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
