Exhausted from a long drive so we felt extremely fortunate to find this establishment. Very clean, comfortable basic room at a fair price.Needed somewhere warm, safe and dry to spend the night while traveling cross country and the Herreid Motel really delivered.Desk staff was fantastic!Would highly recommend.Rooms: Bare basic with really comfortable beds.

We got there and there was no clean rooms we couldn't get a hold of management they could have made a lot of money that night but nothing was ready for tenants oopsRooms: The rooms hadn't been cleaned from the day before and they didn't have any clean so they lost out on our moneyNoteworthy details: We drove 60 miles to get a room and paid for gas and the room disappointing

This is it clean, cozy, and convenient place to get a room while traveling or visiting. There isn't very much as far as stores go in the town so I would recommend getting groceries before you get there, or be sure to get there before 6:00 p.m. when the grocery store closes. I had room number 12 which had a kitchenette and two individual bedrooms. The surprising thing is that it was only in the area of about $60 a night. The owner or caretaker that is on site is very friendly and was very helpful with anything that my party had a question with. I definitely recommend checking this place out if you're going to be in the area before you do it extra 45 minute drive to the next town.

We were looking for a nice quiet place to stay We found just that in Herreid The small town has a friendly little bar called The Water Hole if you re feeling up for a night cap If not hop right across the street to the Herreid Motel It might not look like much on the outside but has everything you need for a one night stay The room was cozy and had a fresh lemon cleaner aroma that lingers well through the night We woke up extra early feeling fresh and couldn t wait to get back on the road It was an experience we ll never forget

Not a bad stay at all. Honestly not the most inviting place on the outside but it was cozy for the 1 night. Cost is doable. Restaurant and fuel right down the road. Cable. Wifi. And management was flexible to my checking in and out schedule. Small town hospitality. I

Super nice folks. Very laid back. Rooms are small and dated. Walls are thin. Even with all that the rooms are clean and if you need anything just ask and they will help out.

Places is dated but sheets and towels are clean and we are truck drivers and lady running the place told us to park at truck stop and she came and picked us up and brought us back to our truck at 6 am very cool lady very down to earth ... make sure you have eaten cause no where to order food here but grateful of the wonderful woman running this place
