This is a terrible place! BUYER BEWARE!!! The owner is Mike Barker and he is an awful man and is selling bad vehicles with all types of MAJOR ISSUES! Repeat DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM HERE!!! I am contacting an attorney because the car he sold me and my cousin almost blew up! We only had the car 2 days and it started shaking, 25 days later I am still waiting to get my car fixed. They smile in your face but are all DEMONS! We gave them all of our savings so that we could have transportation to go to work and take care of our families. They are ROBBERS AND THIEVES. I pray that God will close this place down permanently because they are stealing from good, hard working people. I hope my attorney can get my money back and shut this place down. We should all make a class action case. If I could give them a negative gazillion I would, now I don t know what we re going to do!

Do NOT go here. They will ROB you. Junk cars they clean up to look nice. No one will help you once you sign the papers and the car fails right after. Owner is Mike Barker. Terrible person.

Edit Review !! I recently had the pleasure of visiting pay day auto sales to purchase a truck, and I must say it wasn't a good experience from start to finish Paid for truck cash . The truck ac wasn't working after they admit It was fix . I call to let them know and he said the boss was in the hospital which I knew it was a LIE. Another mechanic had to replace the parts and come to find out the ac is leaking from inside the dashboard. Registration card took so long to come . I had to contact DMV and got it on my own. Just a reminder of Atlas Transmission CROOKS .

I don t understand how this car dealership have these cars with high mileage but the asking price is ridiculous a 2007 Toyota 4 runner 11,100 are you crazy almost 17 year old vehicle

I would never purchase a car/truck from this place ever again. I purchased a truck from this place and the transmission went out, I paid 17,000 cash and they wouldn't help with the cost, sad but this place needs to be closed down scammers. selling lemons. Only had the truck 6 months.

Purchased a vehicle last year in July from this dealer because I was in dire need of transportation. The vehicle started giving me issues the beginning of the year. I never contacted the dealer because it was a buy as is deal, trusting it was a good reliable car. May of this year the car started giving me more issues . I took the car to Hyundai dealership in Florence and they informed me that the motor was no good. I m a person to alway take care my vehicle and keep up the maintenance on my vehicle . I took the car back to the dealer, per salesman John he assured that they would ve worked with me to get me into another vehicle. Long story short they wanted another 2,000 down payment. I don t recommend these crooks to anyone. Please avoid this place and make this your last resort to purchase a used vehicle. Then they went to add it on my credit report . Don t trust these folks!

Bought a car from here an no exaggeration hour later it broke down. When asked if we could exchange it for something different and if I needed to pay more monthly I would I was told no and some cars just have cancer . Then a few weeks and few thousand dollars later it broke down I called again and asked if I could exchange it because my wife was pregnant and it s not safe he said it s not my fault she got pregnant

They delete honest delete exposing how crooked they are. Take your business and money elsewhere they sell junk here. They shut off all service lights before selling the vehicle or showing and sit you down and not let you test drive before purchasing. do not purchase from this place

Absolutely love all the employees! They are always willing to help. I ve brought 3 different cars from them. Traded one in on an suv. Will always take my business to them. John, mike and Lacey are amazing people!

Took almost 60 days to get our tags, gave us the run around about them for weeks, ignored our calls and hung up on us, disrespected me and my husband. Will NEVER buy from them again nor recommend them to anyone I know

HORRIBLE place. People on his crew stole my childrens iPads out of the car while it was on his property. One of the workers admitted to seeing them but then they were no where to be found. The heavy set white man is the owner and he promised he d replace them and never got back to me. John is not trustworthy and lies alot. Don t trust anything they say or promise because all they care about is money!

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My son purchased a VW CC earlier this year and it has been nothing but trouble. These people should be ashamed for selling junk vehicles and providing horrible customer service. I filed a complaint with the department of consumer affairs and nothing �ame of it because there is no lemon law in regards to used vehicles in South Carolina. These people at Pay Day Auto sales are money hungry, unethical, and lack any sort of conscience. If you are looking for a used vehicle in the Sumter area, please avoid this place. Floyd's Auto Sales is who I would recommend.

If your looking for a good dealership look else where. I have spent many weeks calling and talking to these ppl and was supposed to receive calls back about my tag transfer. Every week oh ill look into it and call you bk and nothing. Every time you call the owner isnt available or busy. Ive had my vehicle for over 45 days and still i cant put my tag on it bc they screwed up the paper work and didnt care enough for me as a customer and paying way over price for the vehicle in the first place to fix the issue. So now i have to go bk to the dnv myself and fix the problem after ALL this time. All there cared about was me buying the car and wanted to give me hassle about the dirty oil and the battery terminal that needed replaced. GO ELSE WERE. SAVE SOME TIME AND STRESS

I think this is a scam center. They posted a vehicle without any pictures. I called Friday twice, each time that man told me he will call me back after some time, he never called back. On Monday, I called and asked to send me some pictures, he told me to send an email and he will send pictures after some time. I sent an email but he never replied.Later I called for and reminded about sending the pictures, a lady received the call and told me that she is sending me in 15 minutes, but never replied the email. I called again, and again, 4 times on Monday, each time they told me they are sending me the pictures in 15 minutes or so; but still did not reply.I also discussed about the price, the price mentioned in their website is $7K, but he tells me that the website price is wrong and the vehicle price is $10K. My question is, if the website price is wrong, then why don't you edit that price? Are you intentionally harassing people?

0! I wanted to buy a Toyota RAV4. Saw that they had one on Facebook earlier this year. Went to go check it out and the mileage didn t match up with what it said online. So basically they drive their cars around. The older black man that was selling it to me tried to get me to buy a newer model car. I wanted what I wanted to buy. I believe they are money hungry and don t care about their customers.

Bought a 2011 Volkswagen CC Sport and it stopped working as soon as i reached around the corner from home. Updates will be posted but I had a bad feeling through the whole process of buying the vehicle. Go with your gut folks it s crazy you treat people as monetary value instead of checking on your vehicles and putting customers in messed up situations. Pushed the car a half mile to home as well.UPDATE: Bought the warranty right along with the car and had a brand new engine installed and no problems since then.

Bought a sub that had to go in the shop 8 days after I bought it. Was told that they would take care of it but I still ended up paying for the bulk of the charge after being without the vehicle for 3wks taking it to 3 different places they said to have it towed to. Once the payments are done(cause I'm stuck and have to)I will not be doing business with them ever again

I bought a jeep about 1 week ago..I understand purchasing a vehicle "as is" isnt always the best option, but we were desperately in need with little money. I noticed a loud noise when going over bumps and come to find all the rotors and brake pads and everything with the tires are all rusted and no good!! This is putting myself and my family at risk because tje mechanic said the brakes can lock amy minute and cause the truck to flip. I informed them about it and they didnt seem to care. They said the mechanic was probably trying to get money out of me and said to go to some shop they have relationship with. It is also leaking transmission fluid. I regret my purchase 100% it will cost me another 2000 to fix everything!!!! Very upset! They should at least make sure their vehicles are safe !!!!

I bought my car in 2011 from Jason at Pay Day Auto Sales. At first, I thought I had gotten a deal. Anytime something was wrong with the car, Jason had me bring it back to the shop and he had one of his mechanics fix it. Since I moved away from Sumter, I've had to put a new transmission in the car, have a cracked exhaust manifold that Jason's people never even told me about, and was just informed by a reputable mechanic that someone actually removed the check engine light from my instrument panel- it's been completely unsoldered and removed, more than likely because there are several problems wrong with the car, and Pay Day couldn't sell a car with a check engine light glowing. CHECK ENGINE LIGHT REMOVED. You don't get any more shady than that. Stay as far away from this place as possible.

I would not recommend anybody to buy a car from this place they will sell you a raggedy car and if something needs fix they give you the runaround and when they fix it the problem is not fix correctly and here you are still with a broken car. I m trying to save the next person MONEY and a headache don t buy from this place!!

They are rude and do not care about their customers when an engine blows up they day after you pay for a vehicle you would think they would fix the issue so the customer keeps coming back but no and then when you show proof the vehicle was bad before you bought it while they were driving the vehicle it should tell you something then when we had proof and hand and still said it was our fault we told them we were getting a lawyer they wanted to jump up in a 60 year old woman's face and my sister trying to intimidate them and threatend to lock them up if they didn't leave and now they are refusing to give her the registration this not a way to do business.....woman stay away
