Had my 99 GMC Yukon towed here back in Oct 2023 for a new ignition switch and a dashboard. It took over a month to get the dashboard and from that moment forward it was an excuse every week as to when it would be finished. Here it is Feb and this is what it looked like still. Never pulled it into the shop for repairs just left sitting in the same spot. The pics are from different days I went by to check on it because they refused to answer the phone. As of today we towed it to another shop and they are refusing to give our money back as they were paid in full. They stopped answering the phone as of Thursday. They are scammers and crooks. I have filed a civil suit for a full refund as well as the repairs at the other shop and pain and suffering. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

This place is a fraud. The owner kept my vehicle for over a year, failed to repair the transmission and refused a refund. During that time, the mechanics used my vehicle for personal use, put 3,000 miles on the car and damaged it. I now have a missing front grill and fog lights and a broken trunk light. I have already won my civil case in court, and the owner still refuses to pay the judgement. Do NOT take your vehicle to this mechanic.

I ve gotten multiple transmissions fixed by Mr. Winfield, he s a great and trustworthy person. He explained everything as it was happening and helped me get several vehicles back on the road. 100/10 would recommend if you want a reliable honest mechanic.

Horrible !!! These people had my car over a month. Went to pick it up car still wasn t fixed smh paid him over 2k for nothing ended up towing it to another shop and paying all over again. Owner kept changing the date and had a new excuse as to when it would be fixed . I called the city on them to see why they still had their business license! He s been sued over 10 times in the past month and refuses to pay those people!

This shop replaced a flex plate on my grandsons vehicle, in less than a week the flex plate cracked in 3 places, they refused to make good on their repairs and customer service is terrible.

We had a transmission rebuild done. Service was prompt, and everyone we dealt with was helpful. Our 2012 GMC has been back to us a month and is running great. We had a great experience, and we would definitely use them again. They also alerted us to a safety issue, and that was very important to us as the primary use for this vehicle is transporting our grandchildren.Services: Transmission, Brakes

Terrible place to go.. had my truck at there shop since the first of October 2023 for a dashboard and ignition switch. Here it is feb2024 and still nothing had my truck towed to another shop today.. doesn't answer phone calls never at the shop and lots of crack heads and drug addicts who does the work . Please do not take your car here.. such a bad place.. the owner is not any help and the workers always liein and making promises that they don't keep.. shop needs to be closed down

THEY CANNOT BE TRUSTED!!I brought in my Buick 4th of July weekend 2020 because the transmission went. They held it for a week before working on it. When I finally got it back, the rebuilt transmission only lasted for 500 miles. I called them everyday for 3 weeks before getting a response. When I got one, they wouldn't help me pay for towing, fine. I get it back to the shop and they never worked on it. It's been sitting for over 2 years. They don't answer their calls. I wrote a review that was taken down, they responded and told me to call. I called 2 different numbers and still didn't get a response. My car is still in their possession and they took it apart outside of taking out the transmission.There are different parts just sitting in my backseat at their garage.THIS PLACE IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY ARE SCAMMERS!!Service: Transmission

The transmission went out in my truck on a Sunday afternoon, I had it towed to Certified Auto on Tuesday morning, they had my transmission fixed Friday evening and I picked it up Saturday morning. I've had my truck back for 10 days now and it drives great! Very happy with quality of the work performed along with turnaround time.Winfred and staff were great to work with. They quoted me the best price of all the businesses I contacted but more important to me is the quality of workmanship. I would recommend Certified Auto to everyone, they have been in the business a long time and it shows in their quality of work. I will look here first for future service needs.Service: Transmission

It is hard to find a honest reliable mechanic but I finally found one! I have to praise Certified Auto & Transmission along with their knowledgeable mechanics! I recently took my Honda Accord to a "Not-So reliable" transmission shop and was told my transmission was completely gone and would need replaced with no other option however I found that hard to believe..I decided to take my car to CERTIFIED AUTO & TRANSMISSION for a second opinion and they fixed the problem within a day. They are not afraid to dig in to the root of the problem and try to resolve the issue before taking the easy route and replacing high cost parts. they really put the time and effort into getting my car running again. Money is tight and i was about to get myself in debt buying a new car but thanks for the awesome guys at Certified Auto my Honda is running better then ever! Thanks Guys! I will be recommending you to anyone that is searching for a good mechanic which is why i decided to leave this review.**BEWARE OF OTHER TRANSMISSION SHOPS IN THE AREA THAT MAKE THEIR MONEY SELLING TRANSMISSIONS!! The service was really great. I have to say this was the first time I ve had a owner work with me because I didn t have all the money when the work was completed. He gave me a payment plan. I was having transmission problems on my drive home from vacation- they took me as a walk in immediately. Very kind, very professional, and reasonably priced. Reassured that he wanted me to get home safely and even called to check on me close to an hour after I left. Winfred really took his time and went the extra mile to ensure my safety traveling home. Great people, great service!

I called close to closing time, these gentlemen were so accommodating. I took my car in to get my brakes inspected (knowing I needed to get them replaced). Inspection was free, he got me the best price on new brakes and it was more than 50% cheaper than the dealership. I got them replaced all within 45 minutes. I will most definitely go back for things like this because dealership prices are outrageous and this is a local shop, not a national chain. Thank you so much!!

Truly impressed. They had my car fixed in no time plus a few other problems they found and fixed. The price was right what I was quoted. Very nice people to work with. I will definitely be using them again.

Ran into an unexpected issue with my vehicle. Upon doing some research, I retrieved the part necessary. I was back on the road in virtually no time; they even offered advice on preventative maintenance. These guys were willing to help without tying a rope around my neck. Labor costs were very reasonable and I will be coming back! Highly Recommended.

Mr Winfred and his guys really went above and beyond for me! My oil pan was dumping oil out, he got my seals changed out and was a very Generous man on his price! This place is no good. Sam and Wondered are liers and cheat. I paid $2500 dollars to get ripped off with a used transmission. Don't take ur car there. They even chipped paint off my bumper . U go have to take them crooks to court.Service: TransmissionService: Transmission

Do not go here. They talk down to you and act like you are stupid. Took truck back for warranty work on transmission took over 3 weeks to fix. Truck was not right took it back said it wasnt transmission sat there for 2 weeks without them touching it. Went and got it still messed up. Found out the o2 sensor was unplugged. 2 weeks later transmission is gone again. Trust me go somewhere else. We finally got transmission rebuilt by a different shop. There is a hole in the back of the motor due to a bolt that broke out of the fly wheel. This was cause by negligence from certified. Not to mention the fly wheel was chewed up from it also. There was a bent bracket that was in between the motor and transmission also. I have pictures of all the damage this bolt caused. When I called and asked them for paperwork showing what they had fixed they refused because of my previous review. Then told me it had a bad fly wheel that is why the transmission went out. He never told us it had a bad fly wheel, we would have paid to replace it. Next stop better business bureau.

What was promised in 2 weeks turned into 2 months. Bad attitude! ADDITION TO THEIR REPLY- it was 3.5 weeks and the service you re doing now was quoted at 2 days and it s been 2.5 weeks as far as doing the labor at NO CHARGE is because it was a warranty covered fix. You are not trustworthy and I will be sure to tell all of my Jeep clubs to avoid your business at all costs!
