I had the worst experience ive had with a retail employee in years if not ever. Scott the "Assistant Manger" was the exact opposite of assistive. This man should not be allowed in public much less work with the public. It delighted him to see me in a unfortunate predicament and he said and did whatever he possibly could to make the situation worse when he could have easily fixed the situation. The worst part is he was laughing the entire time. Im assuming he has some sort of mental illness or something along those lines which i understand things like that but he should not be working with the public. I was about to never do business with advance again but after the great experience i had getting the issue resolved through their corporate people and the great customer service i received at the albright road store, which ill be giving a 5 star review, Ill just stay away from this location. I wonder how many other ppl hes done like that and how many will never shop at advance again....

I gave advance auto five stars because the staff was really knowledgeable. I came in with a key, not working. He changed my key. He knew the correct battery and I was on my way.. love it

Great service. I went in to get a headlight. I didn t know what I needed. The young man behind the counter noticed and said, Is there something that I can help you with? I showed him what I needed and he looked it up, went right to it. He brought it back and asked if I had a rewards card with them and then thanked me. He seemed to like his job. Great service with a great price!

Went in around lunchtime on Saturday June 18th to inquire about some battery terminals for my car which my 16 year old daughter also drives. The guy who helped me might be the rudest person I have ever interacted with. He made me feel like I was an inconvenience for asking questions. Excuse the hell out of me for asking an AUTOMOTIVE question at an AUTOMOTIVE PARTS store. Not only did this man s action make Advance lose a customer but I will never recommend this location. Not one to give negative reviews more than positive but had to share this with people who are tired of having rude experiences with Advance which as I understand I am not in the minority.

James is a great guy, very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped find the correct battery and proceeded to replace it in less than 5 minutes. Awesome!

We had an absolutely amazing experience today at this store. Crystal was so knowledgeable and had absolutely outstanding customer service with helping me replace a battery in my car. I cannot overstate how she went the extra mile to call other places for a service my vehicle needed that she could not provide. Super impressed and will definitely be shopping here again.

James tested our battery for us, was honest about the charge and offered to fast charge it for us so we wouldn't have to buy a new battery. We ended up getting a new one and he helped us find the right one, installed it, and then helped us with some other maintenance stuff. He was awesome! Definitely going to be our go-to location from now on.

Marvin and that crew is one of the reasons why this is the best parts house in York county! He obviously cares about his customers and is willing to go way above and beyond to help them. If it was not for him I would not have been able to complete my project on time. He knows what he is talking about too. Also they have tools that other parts house stores don t have.

The lady that I spoke to was very helpful, answered my questions quickly and was willing to ask coworkers questions when she didn't know instead of blowing smoke up my you-know-where. Which is refreshing for an autoparts store.

Since marven retired the store has gone to hell n a hand bag. They basically don't accept returns anymore and they have lost my business all together... that's a 10k a year negative on them. Guess other part house gonna get them sales

The female manager was very friendly and showed me every single tool that they had that might fit my need unfortunately I did need a very specific tool for a very specific purpose but I'll definitely go back to this Advance Auto in the future just because of how hard she worked to help me find what I needed

This location has always been rude and not helpful! Jose was wonderful very educated about vehicles very friendly and professional but when I came in to pick up my parts Darrell was rude and talked down to me! Not sure who is over these chains of stores but you all need some educated and professional people! I have only found 2 employees in the town I live in and there are 3 stores this is a shame! Educate your employees because I am educated!

Came here for antifreeze Darrell was very helpful until I asked about a different product that my dad wanted me to get and said hey do what you want we sale the parts here to fix it when it messes up just straight up rude. My money is green so take it and keep smart comments to yourself!

Unfortunately no staff designated for cash register. So if they have multiple customers you just have to wait if you want to make a quick purchase. Staff friendly but that does not help if you want to go in and out for something.

Clean store, friendly staff. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. When I wasnt sure if some floor mats would fit, the girl told me I could take them to my car and check before I bought them, which I really appreciated.

On November 29th 2020 at 10:10 a.m. I walked in to rent/loan a tool, there was a short skinny guy with glasses, I did not bother to ask for his name after I spoke with him, very very VVVVERYYYY!!! rude, I asked for a clutch removal tool he brought one to show and throw it on the counter, he said here... That's what you need, I told him that I wanted to make sure everything was in the case, he opened and said "see?, I told you", the. I asked for the tool that holds the water pump pulley on place to keep it from spinning while turning the nut to break loose the fan he said "you don't need one, this will do it all for you", I told him no sir, I need both tools he said "Look, this is how you use it (tries to explain) there it's easy, I don't understand why you can't use it, it's very simple" (in a very rude fashion) I couldn't explain it better.I did not share any more words with him and decided to leave.I've changed my water pump in my truck 3 times since it has 298k miles on it, I've rent a tool from Autozone before with no problems as far as costumer service. I've done it before therefore I know what tools to use. I would never do business with advance auto ever again.

I bought a product from this store and when I got home realized that it was the wrong size. The store clerk would not give me an exchange and said no refunds on electrical products. I replied, I don t want a refund, I want an exchange.I spent close to $45 and got stuck with something that is not useful to me. I will never purchase anything from this store again! I do not recommend Advance Auto Parts!

Great customer service.. everyone treats u like family here but there is one employee that follows u around the store,he does all customer's like that.. wen u go shopping if u need help I will ask for assistance I don't wanna be followed around like I'm doing something wrong,makes u feel uncomfortable!!
