Professional and knowledgeable. The fellas at Palmetto Diesel got my truck fixed right and back to me in a timely manner, actually faster than what originally quoted. For a fair price. I will continue to bring my OBS to them for any issues I have in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

The team at Palmetto Diesel is both friendly and tech savvy, they were able to check my truck, determine the problem and do so with the utmost professionalism. While the issue was beyond the scope of their diagnostic computer, they provided sound guidance on all options to assist me. Great service all around and they treat you fair.

I have a 2006 Freighliner semi that I wanted some upgrades on. I was mistakenly directed to this shop by a manufacturer s website. They are 100 miles from my home but after talking with them I decided to give them a shot. I had a FASS fuel system and a Pittsburgh Power OPS system installed. They have never worked with a PP OPS before this but they collaborated with the manufacturer to get it right. Their semi truck technician is a straight up rockstar in my opinion. He really seems to take pride in his work. He should because he knows what he s doing. If he doesn t then he knows how to find out. Can t say enough about the guy (sorry for not remembering his name). In summary, I am very happy with everything that was done here. I actually feel like I received real value for my money without feeling that I was overcharged. I haven t been to any shop that I can say that about. Anyway great job. I will be using this shop again.

Benji and the team at Palmetto Diesel put me, their customer, ahead of making money. They took a personal interest in repairing my boat s diesel engine fuel system so I could get back on the water and continue heading south to warmer weather. They got er done when others could or would not.

Went in to replace heads. Around 12k. 100 miles later truck catches on fire, and told I need a new emissions filter. Offered to do it at a discount.....No thanks.They may do good work at times. Not this time. I wont go back, and wouldn't recommend anyone there. If you do, buyer be very aware.

We are very happy with the service we have received from this company. They are always willing to go out of their way to help us, every time. There has been several times we have been in a crunch and they have stuck with us to make sure we quickly got back on the road. Their prices are more than fair and we have never had a issue with any of their work. Because I am old school, it matters to me to have a repair shop that answers their phone and quickly helps me keep my fleet moving by keeping their word. They have not let me down and they will not you down either. Give them a chance!

These guys rock. Very knowledgeable about the Ford's powerstroke diesel issues. Very thorough review of the problems when it came in and 45 minute testing after the rebuild was complete (where they found another issue and replaced w/o added labor). Great communication and I'm confident in their quality and professionalism.

Even without being a customer yet they were helping me figure out an issue with my first diesel truck. Set an appointment and expected the fix to take most of the day. They called within 2 hours to tell me they had figured out the issue and truck was ready. Turns out it was a simple switch that controlled the function. An honest shop is hard to find and they've earned my business for a lifetime. Thanks guys!!

poor mishandling of a 7.3 powerstroke brought in, replaced the entire high pressure oil system- couldn't get it to start, said the engine needed pulling and then let it sit for two months before telling us that they werent gonna do it. so fast forward to when i brought it to another shop they told me that it was a sensor and high pressure system was never the problem, spent thousands at this shop only to have another shop fix the sensor in a week for 550. Either incompetence or malace, either way didnt fix the right problem and took our money and turned us away. definitely the type of shop that used to fix things and quote it later making their money off of peoples good will and trust.on the bright side i have a new high pressure oil pump. sad that it didnt need it.

Had a problem with the DEF System on my truck. Reza & his crew took care of the issues & at a very reasonable price. He even gave me a ride to & from Enterprise car rental. The service was completed as promised. There has been no problems with the work that was done. A very big thank you to Reza and crew. If I need work on my truck in the future it will be completed by Palmetto Diesel & Performance

Terrible experience. They completely botched the job, so bad the truck no longer ran....Tripped the security in the truck because they hooked up the IPR pigtail backwards.Again, I took them a running truck and after they worked their magic, it had to get towed away.I'm sure there will be a very "manageresque" reply about how they tried to cover costs or towing.....to this day not only have I had to cover all costs period, I've also had to deal with them straight up lying about the entire incident. If they were willing to cover any costs at all, why didn't they refund my money for their shoddy work instead of straight up lying to the credit card company.Truly terrible customer service backed up by shoddy work. Again, my truck ran before I went there and it left their facility on a flat bed.The second shop who finally fixed my truck also found numerous other problems directly related to their so called repair.Now I have to take them to court to hold them accountable. I stand behind my work

These guys were great. We were trying to get a grapple truck from FL to VA and had to have a dozer valve replaced. They got us in on super short notice, changed the part in the rain, and had us on our way home in no time!!

Where should I start, if you are looking for a reliable an honest diesel shop.. look no further!! I have used Palmetto Diesel and performance for over seven-years. You will not find a group of guys better qualified to work on your diesel truck, then the employees at..PDAP! When you first walk in, you will be greeted by a man named Reza. Most automotive shops, have a front person who greets you who does not know anything. Well here's where the difference is. Reza knows diesel engines backwards and forwards! He is willing to listen to what is going on with your vehicle, and if it is something simple ,he is more than willing to come out and look at your vehicle himself, saving you valuable time, and money. I know this because they have done it for me time and time again. Randall Orvin, the owner has assembled a team that is knowledgeable, and extremely qualified to take care of any of your dieselneeds. You will not find a better mechanics than Hunter, Harry, or Reza. They stand behind their work, even years later if something goes wrong. I recently had my vehicle in there for front end problems. When I received my invoice, I was informed that it was all covered under warranty. Even though it had been a while since I had the front end redone. That is a testament to their dedication to quality, and longevity of their work, that they are even willing to warranty after I thought the warranty had expired. If you have a diesel shop currently, and you are questioning whether you are getting good service, I employ you to give Palmetto Diesel and performance a chance. You will not be disappointed. I will not let anyone work on any of my diesel trucks but them. They have built multiple powerstrokes for me, and I will continue to let them service everything I have. Scott

Took my 08 6.7L Cummins in for an electrical code on the transmission. The technicians found a hard-to-see frayed wire on the main wire harness going into the transmission and fixed it. I am impressed with the professionalism and capability of the folks at Palmetto Diesel. I ll be giving my business exclusively to this shop in the future.

We had a bad experience with them. The first time was okay but the second time made me miserable. Our truck broke down @100 miles away. The main air line had blown apart. It took them over ten hours to attempt to repair this truck. They said it was repaired, the driver drove 1/2 mile and their fix broke also so they returned to attempt to repair it again after charging us $680.00. I had to travel there myself at 12 midnight @125 mile trip each way to fix it. When I spoke with them the following day to rectify the problem and amount they jerked me around for a few days and still never heard back from them. We'll have to see what happens after the better business bureau contacts them. DO NOT USE THEM!!!

Brought my Excursion over to them, after being towed over there late in the day. The next morning they had my car up and running. Fortunately the part was under warranty, so they handled everything without any hesitation. Have been bringing my diesels there for repair for years.

This so called repair shop does not do quality, reliable work. They had my truck for 6 months after saying it would be done in 1 month. They replaced the motor with a new in the crate Jasper motor and after the 6 months I picked it up and drove 80 miles and started overheating. Come to fi d out the ruptured my radiator and I was stuck on the side of the highway for 8 hours while they fixed the issue. Now the truck starts leaking oil and I have to take it back to another shop where I live and the problems they showed me from the workmanship from these crooks was astounishing. Spent $2000 to get it right and normal just to find out it starts to overheat again. My normal shop checks it out and says the block us cracked again and needs rebuilt or replace AGAIN. Truck has 9000 miles on it after their terrible service, follow up with no results for help and Jasper not backing the issue. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!!!!!

We had 2 tires blow on vacation and no one would check on it until we called Palmetto. They took us right in and stayed 1 and 1/2 hours after they closed to fix it. Their general manager printed rv parks for us to stay at and was so incredibly nice. For all their work they charged 235 dollars. Palmetto you made your state proud

Dropped of a 16 3500 Duramax for a coolant temp code. after diag the Palmetto Diesel Team realized it was just a harness unplugged and fixed the problem, they could have easily charged us for sensors extra diag ect... but an Honest shop is always good to do business with. we will be bringing all of our Diesel trucks to them.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Reza and his team at Palmetto Diesel and Performance in North Charleston. Reza is always quick to respond to any mechanical issues that arise with my fleet and works well with my corporate fleet manager to get my trucks back on the road. I would definitely recommend Palmetto Diesel and Performance for all your diesel repairs.

These people charged me over $5,000 for a job that was supposed to cost $900...and they tried to charge me over $7,000 they told me my rig would be done and ready for pick up and made me drive from orlando Florida to pick it TWICE when it was nowhere close to ready...I still have the same exact problem with my rig as I had when I took it in there initially (before they swindled me out of $5,000) to get repaired the shop manager told me that it was something else that was wrong with my bus and I didn t ask them to fix that after they had it for over three weeks, Not to mention the fact that I had to have it towed back into the shop and incurred ADDITIONAL hotel charges, rental car fees, plus and my time and money this place cost me...they are a rip off at best. Buyer beware! Carpet baggers!

Top of the line staff! Customer service is on point, the prices are amazing and cant say enough good things about the management! If you're just looking for maintenance/service or a full performance build these guys are the way to go. Beats everyone here in SC by a long shot!

Jones Ford gave me an estimate of $3100 to replace all the body mounts on my 2009 F-350 6.4L Turbo Diesel. Palmetto Diesel and Performance confirmed the diagnosis but performed the same repair for $1900! These are some honest, straight-talking folks.

I wouldn t take our trucks anywhere else. Palmetto Diesel is quick , professional and always get the trucks done and back to us in a timely manner. I highly recommend them and take my work fleet of trucks there and also my own personal truck.
