As being a single mom, in light of my positive experiences this is a trusted location and I m satisfied that my car is in good hands. They explain everything in a way that you can understand, informative through-out the process, and completes the work in a respectable time. They will work with you and layout all of your options. If there is any inconvenience they will do their best to make you comfortable within their control.I do believe the prices are fair for the quality of work.I always appreciate the sincerity of workers who are passionate about what they do.Thank you Dave and Rick, Blessings for your business

Good customer service however I was supposed to get a tire rotation with my oil change and they just skipped it, probably figuring I wouldn t notice because at a distance my tires appear new, but I need a front end alignment so the front tires are rather worn down on the inside. So it was easy to tell they neglected to rotate them. Otherwise no problems. Oil change was a decent price.

I ve tried going here multiple times. Each time they were unable to do the work. They were usually polite and quickly directed me to other shops that could get the work done and for that I am grateful. My last experience was poor. I scheduled an appointment online on Monday and received a text confirmation end of Tuesday so I assume someone had time to review and confirm. When I came in for the appointment on Thursday I was accused of creating the appointment the night before when they weren t working. After explaining to the worker I had created the appointment earlier he made the system sound like a burden which I don t get because he looked up the information in less than a minute. They must not review their system for appointments ahead of time. I then proceeded to wait for the guy that was experienced with tires to come in and when he came in they couldn t help me and directed me to another shop. They are knowledgeable and helpful but to have a system for appointments and then to make a customer feel like they re doing something wrong for using the system isn t right.A tip for this location would be to schedule reviewing and follow ups for online appointments. You can t just pretend the system doesn t work. If a phone call or text for clarification is needed then schedule a time to review and respond to customers. If an appointment needs to be worked early have the experience you need in the shop early. Also get the tools you need to do the work.I won t be going back to this location. I ve always had good experiences with MIDAS but have had 3 strikeouts at this location.

This place is a lifesaver! Stopped by on a Monday morning to get my spare tire put back underneath my SUV. Rory was happy to help, getting up and down off the ground numerous times to get my problem fixed. So thankful for his kindness to help a mom with 3 impatient kids waiting in the car. Bless you Rory!

These guys go above and beyond. I walked in without an appointment for a flat tire and they investigated and told me all my options. I have faith in their services!

I called this Midas store to inquire about a alignment and to take a look at one of my tires. Mike was very accommodating and professional and had a nice demeanor. He gave me some tire recommendations and install prices. the mechanic Dave quickly pulled my car in and gave assessment of what was wrong with tires and brake pads. I got all of the needed maintenance for my vehicle done and at a competitive price. Nice guys behind counter and in the bay. Love it. Would highly recommend tell Mike raj sent you.

Well let's see, I drop my vehicle off and while I'm waiting for my ride, all the guys are just huddled together, talking. I waited for my ride a good ten minutes one of them could have started work on my truck. Then I'm waiting for a call from these guys and no call. So I have to call to check. Then ok I need a new tire, so go ahead and replace it. I get a call at the end of the day to pick my vehicle. I get there, pay and proceed to take my vehicle. I noticed my tire is still flat and it looks like the old one. I tell the service person, he looks, asks and come to find out they never put the new tire on. Hmmmm. I never had such terrible service anywhere like this. Not a good first time going to Midas!!

So I had gone to Midas to get my car checked out for the traction control, 4x4 and ABS light on, these 3 lights on were altering the drive ability by causing the car to occasionally go into a limp mode. I brought it in and was told it was going to be 150$ for just a obd2 reading. which was fine but I have mechanical knowledge and knew it was the wheel speed sensor. But the guy at the desk had said it would be a transmission issue if it were going into a limp mode. Knowing that that s possible I said okay and continued with it, where it came back with the fault for wheel speed sensor. I then asked yeah I figured that much already but how much would it be to replace it. That s when I found out they had wanted me to not only replace the sensor but they said the tone ring was bad, however they can t just replace the tone ring so I would have to replace the whole hub assembly. Which total would come out to 700ish dollars over 100$ for a $15 speed sensor and $300ish for a 50$ hub assembly and the rest being labor. Which is mighty expensive, so I had asked if they were certain the tone ring was bad or was it the sensor where they said they are both bad due to the amount of rust. I then asked if they could replace just the sensor first which they refused to do because if they were to do that, they might damage something else. So I left after paying the 150$ code reading bill just to go home and give it a look myself. As I crawl under the car I see that the sensor is not fully plugged in and I give a light push and just like that all the signs in the car go away. If I could do that with no flashlight on the ground, how did the employees not notice that with the car lifted and with a flashlight pointed right at it? I have never done a review before, and I m definitely not a Karen but as someone who does not make a lot, I am more inclined to come back if they had just told me that it was just a loose connection, I would ve gladly even paid for that little time. I am not saying they re bad mechanics just not honest

We need more Rory s (sp?) in the world!I ve used the other mechanics on rivers that starts with M the past few times I ve needed tires. Every time I go in there I ve been treated like an inconvenience and watched other customers treated the same. Not here. Rory was kind, patient, and went the extra mile with every customer. As I waited for my tire replacement I listened and watched him answer the phone non stop and greet customers walking in the door. Every customer he treated like it was his first of the day. He never got impatient never talked down to anyone. Even when he got grunted at and I think hung up on.He went the extra mile helping someone tract down a hard to get part.Incredibly impressive to see someone with what I guess you would call bedside manner in a frantic customer service situation. He deserves a raise, he s a rare one in this current environment.Thank you for a stress free appointment and amazing customer service!

Fantastic service. Recommend affordable tires, saw me immediately and had my vehicle ready to go the same day. One of the employees even gave me a ride to my house and offered to pick me up when my car was ready. Highly recommend this Midas

I had a big battery problem. I was going to my usual guy which was miles away when I passed Midas on Rivers Ave. I turned around and went inside and met David. I was very impressed by how he made me feel like I knew what I was talking about and how quick he jumped to help. A matter of fact I was also impressed by the crew Ian and Jeremy they all jumped in to help me. I don't have much of that and it was nice for a change to have someone help me. I am a public worker too and I know how important reviews are and I would like to say this was a great review for a great crew. It is hard to find someone that will take the time to write a review so I am making it worth their while. HEY MIDAS, you got 3 great crew members here. Keep them happy. I will definitely be back. Oh and by the way they are worth more than 5 stars.

Just bought new tires here, one of the tires went flat. My son took the car back, they found the issue, a bad valve stem. They fixed it, no charge! This Dad in MI appreciates his son in SC being taken care of and not taken advantage of.

Midas on Rivers is my go to place for vehicle maintenance. Came in today with a screw in my tire. They reassured me that the tire was still useable and had it patched and balanced in about 25 minutes so I could get back to work. This place is full of knowledgeable, trustworthy mechanics. That s exactly the kind of people I want working on my truck which is why I will continue to be a return customer here.

Went in the other day for an oil change. Asked about repairing a bad connector on my high beams. Dave told me to get the parts and they could do it in an hour for $70. I made an an appointment for two days later, came in, was told it would take three hours, and cost over $400. They said they had to take the front bumper off. I took the car to another mechanic. They fixed the low beams and high beams for $110 and never had to remove the front bumper. The other mechanic had the job done in less than hour.

David was a pleasure to work with. I had some problems with my car caused by a different location in another state and David went out of his way to take care of me. He s created a loyal customer as long as I m living in South Carolina. The best experience I ve had with a car shop.

My car stopped running right in front of this shop, I was refused help/service at first and was told that in general the car was just no good/dead . I m not a mechanic, but that doesn t sound like professional terminology/diagnostics. The following day I came to pick up my car and my Cadillac converter was stolen. Save yourself the trouble my friends, stay far away from this place!

Took my car in for an oil change. A week later, my car had stranded me on the side of the road with, among other things, a massive oil leak in two places that had been building for some time. According to the dealership, there was no way this could have been missed during the oil change. My husband also took his car in, and had to go to the dealership with issues soon after as well. Turns out, Midas had put his oil plate in incorrectly and overtightened to the point of breaking it. All they were willing to offer us was another free oil change.Lesson learned - their prices are far too good of a deal to be believed!

I visited a different Midas and was told both back and front breaks needed to be done. I came back to this Midas on Rivers not long after and they told me only my front brakes needed to be done. They replaced my front brakes. I left and called back and asked how long before my back breaks needed to be done and they said probably by my next oil change. I let them know I thought the front brakes were making a sound and they told me to bring it back in. They test drove it and told me it was my struts and also informed me the last tech was wrong and the back brakes actually did need to be replaced. They replaced all of the above, I left and it WAS STILL MAKING THE SOUND. I made a THIRD trip back and they replaced the front brakes they installed the first time. Three trips, several waisted hours, and $2,300 later there is no sound.Take your car somewhere else.

Came in for a starter replacement. They replaced the starter but also reversed the wires of my battery, which then blew a 200A fuse and broke my car again. They then refused to help in any way when I came back. But hey, at least I got a rusty screwdriver out of it when they left it on top of the battery. Don't go here unless you need something caveman simple like an oil change, and only if you're really brave.
