Great service. Sean was awesome and got me worked in. Had tires replaced and was planning on an alignment as well. Unfortunately no full alignment since some parts need to be replaced first. Sean let me know what kind of work was needed and was quick to get an estimate for me. I ll be back for that repair soon. My car feels so smooth even with a partial alignment and new tires. The waiting area was clean - had fresh water and even an area for kids if needed. I highly recommend them for tire needs.

Had a flat tire on a Saturday night, they were open and slightly busy Sunday. I dropped my car off and got a new tire and rotation in 2 hours. The employee even suggested the tire needed to match my other 3 and it was the cheaper one. Great service!

Went to get my tires checked because I kept losing air. They were able to fit me in quickly to check them! Ended up having a nail in one of my tires. They were able to patch it up for me and I was on my way. Patricia and Shawn were great! Very friendly and accommodating!

If no stars were a review option I would've chosen that! DO NOT expect good service from this location! My bad experience began with my tire purchase nearly 3 months ago, I ordered 5 tires (1 full size spare for my Jeep)and waited for a week for them to arrive, when I went to have them installed the manager told me only 4 had come on the truck. That he would call when the spare arrived. He never did.Today I went to have them rotated and balanced, when I made the appointment I told them that I had another appointment at 3:30, they said come in at 1, I asked how long it would take I was told 1 1/2 hours. I arrived on time and waited a half hour, they hadn't even begun, the manager (Mark) said he was short an employee today and that I was next, I waited another 15 minutes and they still hadn't begun.During the time I waited I saw one employee sitting outside scrolling his phone, then another sitting down taking a nap. I went in to get my keys to leave, the apparent assistant manager was scrolling his phone , sitting behind the desk while I stood in front of him. I had to get his attention to ask where Mark was and ask for my keys so I could get to my 3:30 appointment.I left without getting the work done and wasted my time. The manager said nothing of ever getting my other tire in.GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!

I have been a loyal Toyota customer for the past 15 years. However, I encountered some difficulties in scheduling a straightforward alignment service with them. Consequently, I reached out to Mavis Tire for assistance, and I was pleasantly surprised when they readily offered to accommodate my vehicle!I am extremely satisfied with the A+ service provided by Mavis Tire. Their professionalism and efficiency were noteworthy, and I also saved $50 compared to Toyota Dealership! This experience allowed me to keep more money in my pocket without any unnecessary complications. I express my gratitude to Mavis Tire and Brakes for their exceptional service, and I certainly intend to return for future automotive needs.They also honor competitive prices! I am really happy with my choice to come to this Mavis! The staff are extremely friendly and are ready to help you. Right away, they were able to schedule me an appointment and they very were flexible.I came there for a simple break replacement, but my car ended up needing some more work to make it safe to drive again. The manager and staff would take me to see the issues, which helped me understand and know what they were working on. They were thorough in checking for issues and looking at the car as a whole. My car had a huge issue of rust (I'm from New England), so they had multiple people working on it and they took the extra time to get it done without complaint.Throughout my time there, I was only met with kindness and great attitudes. The staff would remember the customer's name and come out to give frequent updates. The small things like that can make all the difference.I'm thankful to the manager, Sean, and the mechanic, Andy who did such great work. All of the staff seem very level-headed and let me know what was necessary to fix for my safety on the road vs what I might need to have fixed. The prices are so reasonable and the staff are great. I feel so much safer on the road now.I thank all of the staff and the manager for their hard work!

My Tesla Y caught a serious flat from someone s lost shrapnel lol and these guys got me in and out same day! They were very professional and diligent to get my tire replaced same day. Sean was great! Thanks guys!! Much appreciated!

Set a 3pm appointment for 02/20. Rotation & balance and needed new brakes. They called me and confirmed the day before. When I arrived the guy said it would be an hour to hour and a half before they could even look at my car. I said never mind, being that I packed my 2 year old, drove across town, unpacked my 2 year old all for them to not be ready for my appointment. He asked if I wanted to reschedule. Why would I schedule another appointment when you didn t honor the first one? Will be going elsewhere.

I recently went to this location for an emergency brake and tire replacement. The manager Sean and front desk employee April were prompt, knowledgeable and made sure my vehicle was greatly taken care of. I recommend this location for the work and great customer service which is so hard to find! Thank you Sean and April!!

They are the most compassionate shop ever. I had a nail in my tire and out of generosity they plugged my tire. Its nice to know there are good hearted and trustworthy shops that still exist. They have a customer for life.

Came in to patch my tire. Everything was going great until they told me my car started leaking profusely after they lowered it. My car did not leak like that before. Now I m left with a $1400 bill on my car gasket. Very upsetting.

I was experiencing a air leak in my tire. I went here last minute before they were closing they still saw me and took a nail out of my tire. Sean the technician that helped me was very helpful and very quick with repairing my tire even though they were ready to close and lock up for the night. Thanks

I highly recommend this company and in particular the folks at the Rivers Ave shop in North Charleston. I have never had such good service, and customer care. The price point for my new tires could not be matched by anyone in the area. And when after a month I had a nail in one tire they addressed it immediately without a charge. Called late Monday to see if I could get tires balanced and they said they were full, could I bring in the am. I told them I needed to fix a vibration before driving to Columbia early Tues. They had me come in and said it may take 1.5-2 hours but they would get be taken care of. The price quoted was exactly what I paid, they got me in much faster than expected and she drives like a champ! Thank you so much for taking care of me and all the other folks you served while I was there. New tire store for me

I will update this review on Saturday December 16th 2023.on Friday December 15th. I took my car into Mavis Tire and Brakes on Rivers Ave. I showed up at 4:30 to have a tire installed to replace one that has a slight bulge. I had called a day before to order the tire and they had gotten it in that morning. Kyle the manager told me the wait was about about 45 mins or so. No big deal. 1.5 hours go by and I can see that the new tire has been on the car for 30 mins. After an hour and 45 mins I ask Kyle, " what's going on?" He tells me the tech, Jacob, has lost the key fob. It appears that the clear plastic folders they put the paperwork and keys in had a hole in it. He was walking around with it and didn't realize the key fob fell out. So I then proceed call locksmiths in the area. I finally get one that will come out at 9am Saturday morning. I tell Kyle the manager this. He said he would be would be there at 8am to facilitate the replacing of the key fob. He then looks for Jacob who has already clocked out and left. I ask Kyle the manager if its ok if I look around the shop for it. Of course I can't find it either, unfortunately. I then go look inside the car and realize the car is parked between the two blue hydraulic lift posts. There might be 1.5 ft to open the door and not hit the lift posts. I look at my door and see that Jacob had opened the car multiple times and the blue paint from the hydraulic lift post on the driver side has seriously scuffed up the drivers side door. I notified Kyle the manager and asked him to please don't let the door hit the lift post tomorrow when the Locksmith comes to program the key fob. Finally I ask if anyone can take me home, (I live 2 miles away) and Kyle said that everyone gets rides to and from work so no one had a working car to give me a lift. Ok that's fine...I proceed to call an Uber where it was over an hour to get a ride. I decided to walk the 45 mins home. Thankfully I had a jacket on. If anyone in Management reads this by Saturday the 16th I expect Mavis Tire and Brakes to fully pay for the key fob replacement and honestly to make it completely right Mavis should comp the tire. This whole ordeal has turned me off to this company. AGAIN, I will update this review if they make things right. Thanks for reading.

Had a tire emergency and was able to get help from Mavis the very next morning without an appointment. Mr. Mark is very knowledgeable and pleasant and helped us out immensely with the issue and got down to the bottom of things. Go to Mavis if you ever need tire/car help!

Awesome! They squeezed me in because I came in early. I m so grateful. I have to work and I can t work without my car. I m so grateful to these guys. Also, the parts I got are warranties so I have that reassurance. I would definitely reccoend.

A lot of places have catchy jingles and eye-catching buildings but there are some companies that survive on reputation and just getting things done. The North Charleston store did an amazing job when we were caught by a blowout and had to quickly resolve a new tire in order to be safe. Thanks for all you do.
