Concierge Laura helped set me up w Genesis roadside assist. Our car had to be towed in after hours with possible dead battery or other problem. When I went to dealership the next morning , Laura helped get a loaner for me so I could be on my way. Thankfully after being checked it was just the battery. My GV80 was delivered to our door the next morning. I didn't even know about concierge service till now!! I will use Genesis North Charleston whenever we are in that area ! Thank you

We were going to purchase a vehicle from this dealer this week as the Genesis dealer in Hilton Head experience has not been good.After reading the reviews for this dealer ship I really don't know what to do.Both have a lousy service department and you can't get a call back from the General Mgr. Now I read that the GV80 has a loud wind noise in the cabin that they can't fixed. Who needs this aggravation.We currently have a 2023 G80 and a 2021 Audi Q5. No comparison in the cars and the dealerships. Audi dealership in Charleston was great. Genesis in Hilton Head leaves much to be desired.I guess we'll trade the G80 in on another Audi even if we have to lose money.

I can t even give ONE STAR to Genesis of North Charleston after the ongoing misery that s happening with our 2022 GV70 (Louis Greenzweig is the registered owner) On October 31, he contacted the vehicle s Concierge service to report that a) the electronic parking brake would not activate and lit up on dashboard and b)the electronic cruise control would also not activate and also lit up. She informed him that there was a recall issued as to a faulty fuel pump problem and that he should get the car to Genesis. We live 90 miles away, but bought this car because Charleston was the closest dealership and knew about the QUALITY and reputation of Hyundai and Genesis. Never imagined what would and continues to transpire. The car went into Genesis on NOVEMBER 1 as of today, DECEMBER 1, it s STILL THERE and they are unable to get parts to fix it. The Service Department is unreachable by phone.. no one answers and mailbox is full Our Concierge, Laura Schroeder, is impossible to speak to and only sent us a snarky email after we contacted Corporate sources. This is an untenable situation. We have been unable to get the name of and contact the Dealership Manager and time just keeps going by. Every few days my husband gets a call saying, we re sorry, but we are waiting for parts THIS IS A DISGRACE for a company that always has represented quality. I have and still own my FIFTH Hyundai SantaFe Sport Turbo.. never had any problems with the car nor Dealership. SHAME ON GENESIS AND GENESIS OF NORTH CHARLESYON SC

Enjoyable buying experience for a great product at a fair price. Sal, Glen and James were a pleasure to deal with. I bought my GV70 on my first visit so my trade in was not available that day. Glen drove 3 hours to my house next day to pick it up!!!

The Genesis dealership of North Charleston checks all the boxes. The sales staff is friendly, knowledgeable and well trained. The showroom is professional and the service department is friendly and professional. The inventory on the website was accurate as well as the photos. I can only give the highest recommendation for this dealership. That was written two years ago. Most recently I needed service for mechanical and electrical repairs. I never thought a Genesis GV70 would need these repairs at 20K!I brought the car for repairs and a recall on November 1st!!!!!I have never been so disappointed with a service center (especially Genesis). They cannot get the parts for repair. They have my car two months as of today! I do not try to call since their mailboxes are full and I cannot leave a message. There appears to be no end in sight to resolve this repair. I do have a lovely loaner car. I think my Genesis days are coming to a close!!!!!!!!!Today marks two months and one day that my car has been in the shop. The concierge or parts department doesn't respond to emails and when I call service the voicemail say the "MAILBOX IS FULL".This is no way to operate a business, especially a Premium auto dealership.At this frustrating point...I would hope Genesis would buyback my car!!!!!!!!!Words cannot express my frustration at this point.

Please beware! If you re purchasing the Genesis GV70 or GV80, the cabin is filled with loud wind noise. It s as if the moonroof or window is opened, but it s not. Service Technicians stated that EVERYONE who purchased the vehicle complains about this, but of course, the dealership ignores this. I ve taken the vehicle back a few times, and even had one of the sales managers to drive it to be told there s nothing they can do. The wind noise and air also makes the SUV swerve when driving. I will be trading or selling this vehicle and going back to BMW and deeply regret that I downgraded from the BMW brand and service to a HYUNDAI/ Genesis!! Don t purchase but if you insist, don t just test drive. Keep it for a full day and you ll quickly see what I m talking about. I also drove the GV80 when my GV70 was being serviced and at a price tag of $79K, it does the same thing. BEWARE!!!

The service department at this Genesis dealership has been the worse. I love the car itself however, Genesis service has a lot of catching up to do with the other local luxury services. Expect Hyundai service levels and worse.Recently, my sattelite radio in G80 began the intermittently work. The problem became intolerable as I was paying for a service, and not being able to get Sattelite radio consistently. It was about 75% of the time where I would be able to get the radio signal and quickly becoming worse. After an easy scheduling process, we took our vehicle in. After 5 business days of the dealership trouble shooting the issue, they said that the couldn t duplicate the problem we had experienced. Despite the service advisor experiencing the problem first hand. The techs couldn t duplicate the same issue. So when I called, because none ever called me back, the service advisor left a message saying we could pick up our car. With this said, I asssummed that she was also saying that the issue was resolved. After the 40 minute commute, one-way, I was advised by the advisor, when checking out that the tech hadn t resolved the issue because he couldn t duplicate the issue. This was amazing too me and infuriated me. After 5 days, no resolution despite both the advisor and myself duplicated the issue several times over. She handed me the keys and I immediately went over to start the car. Upon doing so, immediately experienced the same problem. So I videoed the problem and sent that video. To the advisor. Being that it was a Saturday, she said the techs were off and offered to keep the car or take it. I insisted they fix the car and return it fixed. She then contacted us the following Tuesday and said they finally duplicated the problem, and we re going to order a new sattelite antenna. But it would take a week for the antenna to arrive and they would call us, when it arrives.Now, 3 weeks past this point, no calls or communication from them about the part. So now we ve begun try to contact the department, in fact three times, and still no response or return call.This is the worse customer service on the planet and wouldn t purchase another Genesis since our service experiences have begun to worsen. With this last service experience punctuating the piss poor execution and attitudes of service advisors, incompetent techs and zero follow up.Genesis North America must know that their service levels aren t even close to the similar luxury car dealerships like Jaguar, BMW, Infiniti and Lexus. Hopefully, upper level management are also paying attention and responsive.

Transaction went as smooth as butter. Our salesman Cameron was knowledgeable, polite, and professional and it was a pleasure to deal with him. Love the new G70. So much car for the money. And, can't beat the warranty either.

The Genesis GV70 is fantastic. The sales team at the Hyundai of North Charleston was great. However, the service was abysmal. They are trying to play in the luxury car space but haven't yet figured out the service model. The loaner car they provided was disgustingly dirty and the service staff did not seem very welcoming or glad to have the business. Not a great experience but I do love my car.

Disappointed sale team. Still treating you like a used car dealer with mind game. Unprofessional. If Genesis wants to go luxury, they should spend time at MB, Audi, BMW and Lexus to learn. Not in the same league to sell 6 figure cars.

My family has purchased 2 vehicles from this dealership. The Genesis vehicles are wonderful.That being said, this is handsdown the worst dealership I have ever worked with. The service department is an absolute joke and you can guarantee they will either fail to do the entirety of the service or they will damage your car. They took my car through the wash or "washed" it and it came back with the paint surface covered in surface scratches. I took it back and they claimed it was due to me going through car washes (I only hand wash the vehicle for this reason). They offered to wax it which was as far as they got but I will never trust my car in the hands of these people. My personal favorite is that this is the same dealership that put the breaks of my girlfriends car on backwards. With my parents vehicle, they put on the wrong windshield wipers resulting in paint damage above the windshield.

Took 3 weeks and repeated calls to the dealership just to talk to someone who could schedule an appointment. Seems like the car dealerships I have dealt with in the last 20 years have all really stepped up their service department customer service. Not here. Unfortunately, this is the only Hyundai (no Genesis stand alone) dealership in Charleston and I am stuck with them. Come on Genesis, surely you can do better 7 years into the brand!

Genesis of North Charleston really gives awesome service. Everyone including Buddy made my experience fun and easy. I will recommend them to everyone in search of a new or great used car! From Ms. Barbara in Service who looked out for me to Chris who went above and beyond to get me into my new G80, I thank you soooo much for all that you did. Everything was 100%.

I own a g80, they gave a dedicated service associate. She does not answer, voice mailbox is always full. I am obligated to use this pathetic dealership as it is closest to my home
