This Location could really use some better management and more employees. I had my wife our car here and mind you I just had front and work done it to a few months ago by another reputable place. I wanted them to check the inner tie rods and that was it. They proceeded to give me an estimate for $2400 saying my lower control arms, ball joint and inner tie rods, outer tie rods all needed to be replaced when all that stuff was done, except for the inner tie rods. I will never use this location again and possibly never use Firestone anymore. I just might cancel my credit card with them. Very poor customer service.

I dropped my car off before they even opened, after notifying them the day before that I would drop it off and be back by 6pm to pick it up. They have not contacted me all day about my vehicle, I got here at 6 and the lights are off with a not on the door that said had to close at 6. With no notification the have my car locked up with all my equipment I need for work tomorrow. This is piss poor service, on top which they didn t fix the problem it was having the day prior which is why it had to come back. They just lost a customer.

My daughter and I arrived at 6:05 pm. They close at 7 pm. We had a slow leak tire and were 3 hours from home . The team turned us way. They had 3 cars left to finish and no room for more business. At 6:40, as it was dark and we were changing our tire in their parking lot with the lights from our phones. We saw that they were no longer busy, and they still were unwilling to help. We were unaware of how dangerous the neighborhood was. We rode home on our spare which it almost doubled our trip time. The next morning at home we discovered that it was a slow leak at the rim. Which took about 10 minutes total.Customer service at this Firestone is lacking!!!!

Had an appointment but when I arrived, was told there may be an hour wait to get my car in a bay for an oil change. Diamond was very helpful & let us know how things were going. Overall a good place to take your car.

Came for a pre-scheduled fluid exchange. That part was great, but I felt like they tried to take advantage of me. They kept recommending some services by mileage despite the fact that I was over 12000 miles away from the actual recommended mileage. When I asked them if they could explain why I needed it early or if they could show me what is making them think I need it, I got vague answers (well by mileage and must be something ) and showed nothing. These recommended services were left out of the official firestone email I received about recommended service by mileage . Makes me feel like they were just trying to make some extra cash. I have usually had better experiences at Firestone.

The service staff was professional, friendly, and courteous. The only reason I did not put a nine or ten was that I did not intend to wait an hour and a half to change a tire and rotate all four.

I came in thirty minutes before closing, and Alan, Bailey, and Steven still jumped up to help me. Despite other tire stores saying my tires couldn t be patched, they still took the time to do a thorough inspection and were able to patch one of the two with screws. I will be referring all friends to this place from now on, their service was great.

Arrived at 6:12 pm after hearing nothing all day from the establishment about when my boyfriend s vehicle would be finished. There was a hand written sign on the door that they closed due to an emergency, understandable and no ill judgement on that part. However; my boyfriend is a professional firefighter who has to leave for work at 530am and all of his gear is in the back of his car. The car is not in the lot, and there was zero communication the vehicle would not be finished, nor left outside for him to grab to take to his job tomorrow. Zero communication and zero acknowledgment on their end. Both of us work in emergency services and emergencies happen but now the establishment has his vehicle and his gear for work - with no way for us to grab it.

Making an appointment doesn t mean you ll be taken care of, it s just to get you to go to the shop.Called in the morning at 9am and was told I would be able to go that same day at 4pm.

This place is fantastic and the entire team is a pleasure to deal with. I've been her for several services on multiple cars (tires, brakes, parts, etc) and every time they help me understand what's wrong and what my options are to solve the problem. They do fast, reliable work and usually get my car in and out the same day. I highly recommend this business and will continue to go here for all of my auto needs!Services: Tires, Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Brake service & repair, Oil change

Terrible experience. Someone driving my car took my car to this place and they took it upon themselves to do whatever they wanted and I had 4 flats on my car within a week. On 4 brand new tires ??? From another company. The car has not been running the same since here. I would not recommend this place at all.

Truck was not starting and towed first thing Tuesday morning to the shop. Took two full days to determine it was the starter and battery. I was also informed on Wednesday that my front passenger tire had a tear in it and was completely flat, which was not the case when it had been dropped off.I was told on Wednesday that the car would be ready on Thursday afternoon, and I would receive a call. I did not receive a call.I called ten times on Thursday, and was only answered twice. The first time with no update. The second time was ten minutes before closing, and they mentioned that the car had been done, but I would not be able to pick it up due to the proximity to closing time. I had to extend my rental car for an additional day.Overall, I am dissatisfied with the service: both physical care of my car and customer service.

I used to work for Firestone years ago and as a technician, I had to do a lot of inconvenient things just for the customers. When I stopped by this location for a simple tire rotation they refused because their lift was broken. I asked if their floor jack was broken and they said no. I'm sure you can see where this is going. The laziness of the staff to do the most simple of jobs due to a minor inconvenience is just appalling.

Kudos to this location! Traveling through Charleston and water started pouring from the dashboard. I made an appointment via the call center. It was not transferred to the location. Kaitlyn, the store manager, worked me in nevertheless. And within an hour my car was fixed! Just wanna give kudos to Dontay, Quinn and to James the technician highly recommend this location!

If I could give 0 stars I would. First we have our cars tires done on a AWD vehicle for them to put a wrong size tire on and mess up the front axles and transfer case. Upon us sending it to them saying they messed up we were talked down to by one of the managers I believe his name was Alan? Anyways, talked down and told I had no clue what I was talking about when I said that the tire would mess up the vehicle. Fast forward maybe a month they decide to change both front axles and the differential but deny any liability to the transfer case being ruined by their mistake. Contacted the corporate office and told them what happen and added pictures of the 4 tires just to be ran in loops for months to the point the new agent said I had no proof that the transfer case would only be messed up if the tires were wrong. Showing even the corporate agents don t know what s going on considering I sent the pictures and mentioned the tires being different. After that he finally took liability for the screw up and but when I told them I wanted everything that was touched by the shop redone they said no and threatened to decline liability after proper proof was shown. Finally we had Nissan fix the transfer case just for us to get the car back and drive it for a month for both axles and differential to go out again. If any review helps anyone let this be the review. Place doesn t have the proper people for the job, crooked managers and a even worse corporate service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN.

TL;DR First they patched my tire. Then they claimed the tire was never patched. Dishonest shop with poor communication. Bring your car somewhere else, or prepare yourself to waste hours of your life.This review is the culmination of two visits attempting to have a tire patched. On the first visit, I dropped off the car and left my phone number. When I returned to pick it up, I was asked where the wheel key was. My fault for forgetting to mention it, but they could have called me to ask. Waited an additional two hours while they got around to "patching" it. A few days later, I noticed the tire was still leaking slowly.Today, I went back to have them look at it and replace the patch to get it to stop leaking. After much arguing, it was found that the tire did have a hole, and that hole was not patched. It seems that the first time I brought the car, they simply removed the nail, charged me, and sent me on my way.This time around, they let me know that the hole was too close to the sidewall to repair and attempted to sell me a new tire. Not wanting to do business with a shop that had treated me so poorly, I opted to leave. The tech wanted to air up all my tires to get me set to go.When it was time to go, I pulled into a parking space to make sure everything was good to go. I found that the tech had left two of my valve stem caps off. I went back to the shop to ask for the caps and was told that he didn't have them, and never took them off (?). After looking around, we found one cap in the middle of the bay floor. The other cap is simply lost. They insist they didn't lose it, but clearly did.

Took my car in for check engine light was told it was my Converter, they had to order part so I went back and got my car cause I had appointments. They called the next day and said bring it in took it in a lil before 9am they lie and say it takes 5 hours which it does not goes up there around 2 haven't even started on my car now they are saying car still hot, what car takes that long to cool down so as their getting ready to close I call I was told that my Axel snapped which was a lie was told later on it was a flex pipe so they had to keep it longer. The next day I'm waiting and waiting so I call at almost closing time now its ready, no communication at all I have took all my vehicles to Firestone but since moving here to SC service down here is horrible and I'll never give them my business again.

My Toyota Corolla broke down headed west on I-26. This was after my family and I were headed back to North Carolina from just having been to a family member's funeral. Allen, Kaitlin, and the whole team did a fantastic job. As high as our anxiety/stress levels were, the Firestone team was patient - calmly explaining what need to be fixed in the car, were honest regarding a realistic timeline of repair, and gave me no problems as I called almost daily to get updates. Even when I had to get a friend from NC to bring us back Saturday night due to my brother's medical condition, Allen and his team continued working on our car and got the job done. After what was already a stressful situation and week, my family and I are so thankful for this team getting us out of our car trouble. I made it safely back to NC the follow week after picking the car up with no problems. I will definitely be stopping here if I have any future car troubles in the Charleston area.

I brought my car in at 10:20am on 29 November because of a nail in my rear passenger tire. Since I didn't have an appointment, I didn't mind having to wait nearly an hour and a half; the time that they quoted me to be the "approximate" wait time. After 1.5 hours, I was told that they didn't have the tire at that location to match the other 3 tires. As a replacement, I was offered an "upgrade" tire which they had at the Northwoods location. I was advised that it would "only cost $68.00 due to the upgrade warranty." Since I had purchased 4 tires less than 24 months ago and the tires were still under warranty, I opted to have them retrieve the same make and brand tire from another Firestone store. I was told that the wait time would be "approximately 1.5 to 2 hours." I will admit that a manager and sales person approached me shortly before noon to advise me that the tire was going to be sent from Mt. Pleasant. Somehow there was some sort of "mix-up" about ordering the tire and getting to the Northwoods location and that's when things fell apart. Long story short, the tire arrived after 3:00! At first I was told that they would "waive the fee since I had to wait such a long time", however, I had to remind them that there shouldn't be any fees since my tires were still under warranty. Nice men; slow service. Please note that I'm not complaining about my initial wait time. I expected a "reasonable" wait time, especially since I arrived without an appointment, however, the wait time that I experienced was excessive. It was an even bitter pill to swallow since when I purchased my tires initially, I had the identical inconvenience of my time. Again, nice men; slow service.
